"That was a nice experience. The family and I were here yesterday and had a good meal. Typically, if you think of a diner, think greasy spoon style place, limited presentation, employees who are there for the money and not the customers, and garbage coffee. This is not the case with The Big View. Think about updated versions of Diner favorites. We started with some onion rings that might be the best onion rings I ever had. Nice crispy, not super fat, thick bread, and a house diving sauce that lets you come back for more. I had a patty melt with an added fried egg, it came to house baked, grilled rye and was excellent. Fries were also beautiful and crispy. My wife had the English breakfast burger minus the bacon plus mushroom. That was a burger's monster, but it was really excellent. She had the sweet potato fries that were also very nice. Daughter had the kids slider with Broccoli and ate it all without as much as a sound. She loved it! Finally, we took a monstrous piece of Oreo Cheesecake home, which was incredibly rich and must be shared by at least two people. It was very nice and something you want to take time to enjoy. Finally, I would like to make a comment on the staff. This was the hardest working group of restaurant workers I saw in an extremely long time. Not only that they seemed that all really enjoy themselves, many good camaraderie that led to a great customer service and therefore happy customers."
