"let me begin by reminding our waitress, she was amazing. let's go to the experience itself. this place was influenced by the kovid strong as well as personal lack, but they are amazingly fast. they can have some experiences with inaccuracies with their orders even during eating. be patient! I believe at least from our first experience here they had only one cook, a cashier, a sushi cook and a waitress while we were there. our waitress took our orders with memory and she is older, so there were some mistakes, but she was great, so please don't think what occurred to me from this place the least. the traditional Hibachi experience to sit the flattop grill with others due to kovid is not an option so they have a more traditional restaurant experience while still the Hibachi menu most are used in these. I ordered the filet and the huh, but I got a filet and garnel. more in a moment. portion sizes were excellent. I have the standards soup, salat with ingwer dressing, fried rice, noodles, filet mignon and the above garnels. I also ordered 6 pieces sashimi that were thunfischmackerel and red snapper. the sashimi was an excellent size cuts and presentation. my meal had some mistakes and surprises. most establishments that are similar to that I have visited do not offer noodles so big 1 for it. I love the fried rice, I appreciate it very much. why I rated it 4 stars vs give it 5 is that this establishment does not allergy with their meal prep take into account. Yes, I know that cross-contamination can occur, but at least they give me the opportunity to remove as much risk as possible. I didn't get a nice drink that is usually included in a Hibachi menu and I'm deadly allergic to mushrooms. I had not the opportunity to remove them, their sweet are premixed and cannot be replaced. I also have a garnel allergy, not as bad as the mushroom, so when I got an ugly side of garnel with my order, I was a bit removed. our waitress, spirited them, elderly people and took our order completely through remembrance had everything perfect, but that. they made changes, they had a cook make me go a side order of the huh when they asked why I did not eat the garnel. I loved her personality and her sincerity and care when she realized the mistake she made and appreciated the effort. Great eating, the sushi love much, but if they have allergies, they might want to stay clear of this."

"Our latest visit here really changed my feelings for this place, unfortunately. We 've been here a few times before when we were in town. It has that local vibe with good food. Recently, we went by again for lunch before heading back to LA. First, they no longer have the happy hour deals all day. It 's narrowed down to limited rolls and hours. That was fine since we still found something we like. Then, their grill area was closed due to a catering event, which is also fine. But when we called 20 minutes before, they failed to mention it. We drove here to learn we were restricted to rolls or poke, nothing grilled until an hour after we arrived. But a few minutes after we placed our orders for poke and rolls, our server came back out and told us the grill was now open, but was already too late for us to change our order to grilled items We decided to try 2 of their poke (Hawaiian furikake) . We asked for the most authentic, OG style poke closest to the islands. Thinking they have the word 'Island ' in its name, we expected the same we had in Hawaii, but both poke we ordered were lacking flavors, very much on the bland side. Some pieces of the salmon had a lot of veins. The rolls: Island Special and the Waimea. The latter was the highlight of the meal. Nice light char on top. The former wasn 't bad but did not stand out. We also ordered a bento box B, which we have every time we come here. This time, the noodles were greasier and the beef was near burnt to a crisp (see my photos) Before, when we asked for the check, they will take my credit card to charge and bring it back. This time, our server brought a handheld POS device, swiped my card and said 'pick a tip option ' and just stood there staring at me. That felt very tacky and not representative of our previous experiences here. About a 1/2 hour after we left, all of us started to have stomachaches and didn 't feel well. I 'm not sure if it was their raw fish or burnt beef, but it didn 't make for a pleasant drive back to LA. Well, there are other Hawaiian joints in or around Vegas so perhaps we 'll go try another place next time."
