"Me and my wife had just got back from Japan and came here hoping for similarities, but we didnt get what we hoped. the atmosphere was excellent, I loved it. The server we had was also great, kept checking on us, but not as often as we liked, I had run out of drink fast and the sauce in my food was a bit much and needed my drink for this. The food was good, but not what I ordered. The server got a lot wrong and was very apologetic, but we were not offered what we wanted in exchange, so we had to eat what they gave us. The price was decent compared with other places around greenville, and overall experience was not that great with only the server to interact with with so many things wrong with our orders."

The food is excellent, and the atmosphere is enjoyable. The staff are friendly, and there are kid-friendly meal options available. Prices are reasonable, and they offer a discount for ECU students. View menu

Came in here on Monday for sushi and our server, Gracie was just fabulous! She recommended the Amazing Tuna and Volcano Roll and both were so delicious! The whole staff is so welcoming and kind- will definitely be coming back.

I had a wonderful experience sitting at the sushi bar. Carolyn, whom I hear is the best server in town, lived up to her reputation… And Charlie’s wit and delicious food sealed the five star deal. I had a shrimp and avocado tempura roll, and Gyoza.

I dined there again last night, and it was still delicious. I had the Brussels sprouts as my appetizer, and I savored every bite! I also tried the Greenville roll, which I loved. One of the others in our group ordered a poke bowl, and he really enjoyed it; it looked so tempting that I wish I had ordered it, too. I suppose I’ll just have to return! View menu

Shogun consistently provides a warm and high-quality dining experience. The staff is extremely polite and gracious, always ready to assist anyone they encounter, regardless of whether it's their specific table. This level of attentiveness makes a significant difference. They are very accommodating and genuinely eager to please, no matter the size of the group or the nature of the request.

I honestly loved shoguns and it was my favorite place to eat until last week it was the first time I had been since they changed the white sauce I was so disappointed! The new white sauce is not as good I think maybe it’s too much garlic It has a odd taste. Everything else was great the service and quality of food and the house soy! But I don’t think I can get use to the new white sauce so not sure I will eat there as often. Please bring the old sauce back.

"We dined at Nino 's in Greenville tonight. On arrival they seated us pretty quickly (We arrived about 20 minutes before our reservation). Initial impressions were NOT good. They sat us RIGHT next to a large family with young boisterous children despite empty tables evident in all directions. Our menus were soiled with food film smears on the outside and greasy fingerprints on the paper inside. The restaurant was freezing. A bartender (I think) was repeatedly tossing empty bottles into a trash can or something so there was a periodic loud glass crash. Being an old curmudgeon I of course had to of course complain. The manager came over and apologized and the noise stopped. Temporarily. Until the bartender forgot and did it again. I had hoped to get the (recommended) Pork Ossobuco, but it was not on the menu tonight and was probably a special. I inquired about it and the waitress replied What is ossobuco? She then brought us a bread service of four VERY oily soft squares of focaccia which were really delicious. I know now where the greasy fingerprints on the menus came from. My wife ordered chicken parmesan and thought the flavor was good, but the chicken breast was a little chewier than expected. It was served with spaghetti and was a large portion. I ordered spinach pappardelle with a wonderfully rich and creamy burrata and white truffle sauce topped with blackened shrimp. This dish was VERY good and I 'd order it again if we return. The shrimp were cooked perfectly... just the right complement to the delicious sauce. We enjoyed a bottle of Nino 's Falanghina, a white wine somewhere in the ballpark of an albariño or sauvignon blanc. It was very good and was a good value. It paired very well with the meals. We passed on dessert but there were several interesting options. All in all, I truly enjoyed my meal and would order it again. My wife felt that the chicken parmesan was pretty pedestrian and was no better than we can make at home or get in"
