"Lunch! Rain, cloudy, cold. Salad, soup and shrimp with bacon tasty. Salads are full of beautiful dark and bright greens, vegetables, chicken, dark red, purple onions. Every bite of salad with choice of salad dressing refreshing, healthy, crisp, tasty bite. Salad is sinfully tastefully paired the warm crispy, but chewing butter itself bread, which is hotly brought to the table. When I took off the warm bread, steam can see rising. The bread called to my tongues. Yum. Free bread fillings. Clam Chowder soup or bowl is an additional experience. White Clam Chowder is surprisingly delicious on every bite. Perfectly seasoned, heaping hot, but light on the tongue. Shrimps with bacon and other spices. Crunchy still chewing gum. Buttery still bacony taste. OMG in heaven. I felt like my mouth was committing sin. But I was in heaven. Large iced tea with unlimited refills added the biggest smile and happy belly. For lunch on a rainy day. Chef(s) deserve a great hug."

"It's not every day that you feel like a tourist in your own state. The unique dishes were fantastic, but that was just the beginning. The service was outstanding, and the food surpassed my expectations. We both ordered the brisket eggs, and the flavor of the brisket was incredible. The barbecue sauce struck the perfect balance between tangy and sweet, without being overpowering. The pancakes were fluffy, and the way the butter and real maple syrup melted into them was simply delicious. This place has definitely become my new favorite restaurant."

"great place for delicious grill and other dishes! the staff is so friendly and helpful. the prices are very reasonable. I enjoy searching the interesting Texas-theme-decor. I just wanted a grill bresquit sandwich, but this had a lot of delicious meat with tasteful bbq sauce on the side. my wife had the grilled chicken salad: fantastic. the brotpudding was also very good. great eating, friendly staff, perfect texas ambiente: you cannot go wrong with this restaurant."

"The only reason I give a 4/5 is simply because the chips and salsa were not willing to vote for me. The chips tasted day old and the salsa didn't have much kick. Other than that, the rest of the food was absolutely amazing; 10/10 burrito. They were also ready to subdue the meat on the Burrito, whatever is something I was looking for in a restaurant."

"Never in a million years would I have thought Athens would have something even *close* to authentic NY style pizza. I was wrong... These folks nailed it. As someone who's had some of the best pizza in NYC, this was a mighty fine pie. The crust has that perfect foldability, chewy-crunchiness, and holds its own weight. The cheese--perfect amount of grease. Sauce is seasoned well but could be a tad bit sweeter and that's being nitpicky. Overall, a great pie and a pleasant surprise (with reasonable prices)! Check this place out!"

"This place is one step up from the $2 pizza locations sprinkled around NY. Garlic knots were a miss along with the Bacon Ranch pizza- very salty and hard.I am pretty sure it's hormel dry bacon bits being used... The front counter person was a gem. Best thing in the shop!Food: 2/5"

"A 4.8 rating for sure! Very clean cozy rustic dining area. I was surprised to see that there was also a full bar available with some great spirits on hand, not just the run of the mill stick at that! Marvelous fork tender brisket that doesn’t just fall entirely apart (an important point for me, personally) very flavorful jalapeño pork sausage while not being punishing on the spicy side of the palate. The spicy BBQ sauce had a wonderful balance of sweetness to it that was not quite the level of heat I was looking for, but managed to fit the bill the meats very well. The sides are very good though they didn’t stand apart exceptionally make no mistake, they’re Very good, but didn’t reinvent the wheel. The small craft soda selections from Oak Cliff were far superior to the large brand soft drinks typically found. Made with real sugar, they surely added an unexpected touch to my dining experience that I enjoyed more than I would’ve figured. The staff was very knowledgeable about their offerings were able to really make this a place that stands apart. Clean, courteous knowledgeable are all high marks that they earned helped to seal my many future returns. In all, a warm, inviting atmosphere with great food that I’d be happy to share with out of town guests or a gathering place with friends family. A typical Texas “gully washer” of a storm was about to hit as I arrived, so I didn’t get to enjoy the day’s cooler August temperature on their patio, but I hope to on subsequent visits!"

"I ordered a tri-tip sandwich and a salad to go, but to my disappointment, they didn't provide any napkins, barbecue sauce, salad dressing, or ketchup for the tater tots. They also didn't include any silverware. When I called to let them know, the employee acknowledged my concerns but suggested that since I was already across town, I could come back for a fresh salad if I wanted. Honestly, it felt ridiculous considering I spent $25 on a salad and a mediocre sandwich that only had two small pieces of tri-tip. I won't be returning."

"I was looking at some property in the area so I thought id give Taylors a try for lunch I ordered the 2 meat plate with 2 sides. The plate looked great! The pinto beans were pretty basic with not much flavor. Broccoli was a little over mayo'd for me, but the taste was still good. The pulled pork was very moist and had a hint of smoke. The brisket fell apart as I tried to eat it. It seemed to be dry and then had some juice added. The wait staff was awesome! Asked if I needed a soda refill, food was brought out promptly as well and WITH a smile! Overall I think I would pass on Taylors next time Im in town."
