"Having never really had Filipino food before, when my friend suggested it, I was very excited. Upon entering, I was like a kid in a candy store licking my chops at everything I saw and smelled. To my Filipino friend, this was all very pedestrian and something he has seen many times before but I was all for it. Everybody seemed to be getting the combo plate which features two large spoonfuls of rice and a portion of whatever meat dish you like. We opted for the BBQ pork skewers with ours but we also got a bunch of other items on the side such as chicken adobo, lumpia, pork marinated in coconut milk and chilis, a beef stew, and some sort of sweet rice pudding dessert. It seemed to be a bit more expensive than what it should've been, especially for the combo plate since it was mostly rice but upon taking it home and trying it, it was all delicious and worth it! We are both big eaters and even had left-overs.Since this was my first delve into Filipino cuisine, I am not sure of the quality of this restaurant compared to others; I just know that I really enjoyed it and I am really excited to both go back and to try other Filipino restaurants around the valley."
