"An overwhelmingly delightful experience. Comfortable seating inside and out, with a warm, mellow ambiance. My server(and bartender) was exceptionally friendly, thoughtful, and efficient. My cappuccino was frothy, flavorful, and the perfect temperature. My banana rum French toast was plentiful, with large pecans and gorgeous ripe bananas. If you like bananas foster, the gentle whisper of rum brings a snappy bite into the sauce, there was plenty on the side to be decadent with. Additionally, a personal pitcher of syrup was provided for those with a sweeter tooth than mine. Overall, highly recommend, I will be back!"

"This was a disappointing experience. First I called to add a friend who came from out of town to our reservation. I was told there was no room and all the seats were reserved. Major lie. The restaurant was less than 50% occupied the entire time we were there. Second when we arrived at the hostess stand another staff member came over and in a not so polite tone and asked (told) us to hold on while they were resolving another matter. It would've taken less than a minute to seat us and matter discussed (in front of us as we waited) was non-urgent and could've waited. Third the food was so-so. I give them credit for the decor but they need to work on their people skills. I would've left when they sat us down but we were meeting new friends and I had to pay a deposit. With so many options in NOLA to dine at, I won't be dining here again."

"We had a great lunch at Dish Society. The hostmanager was very friendly and knowledgeable. Our server was efficient abs the food was delicious. I ordered the chimichurri steak tacos and they were scrumptious. My partner ordered the brisket stuffed sweet potato and he loved it. The food was an explosion of flavors and textures on your palate. Everything was fresh and cooked to perfection. What a wonderful Birthday lunch experience"

"I didn't even take a picture. I wish I have to see for others how amazing a jobs and how great of a price they charge for such a fantastic meal. I got a vegan burger and my partner got a jerk we've ever shared half. alomg with fries and a carrot cupcake. I have never lubricated a meal so fast - it was amazing. I have not made vegan food so fresh and so perfect since florida at my old place that she only topped. I'll be back to lunch in the morning, as her dinner went beyond all the food I had in the city so far. friendly staff and fast to get the order out. a must go to spot for anyone looking for a freshly prepared food and snack that has not even felt like a dessert! edit: came for my last day in santa fe, got the vegan blt again. here's a picture. 2x worth every penny."

"we thought it was an interesting attempt, and we had family asking us to try it. we were not overly impressed by an aspekt of the restaurant. I'm a crabcake lover, I make her myself, so they always have crabcakes that I try. I would say if they were not prefabricated, they should have been. with a $25 worth I expect lumpcake, not bread panties with some meat inside. I went to the meals, had a bbq quesadilla and it was missing from cheese and taste. would have come along with tortillas and a bowl bbq huhn. I tried to pull my wife's pork and if we're overcooked without bite, just mix a few high notes and why we try again. the mac cheese was good and the koleslaw was also good."

"It was quiet when we had gone in. Not to many people dining and I think I might now why now. The ambiance is simple but clean looking. The waiter was very nice and kind throughout. However, the food was another story. The collard greens are very salty. The sweet potato was missing some flavor not horrible though and they through marshmallow on top not even toasted or somewhat melted. My son food was cold. My food was way over cooked. I took recommendation of waiter to get steak. I like mine medium. It came out very well done. The waiter took it back so quick for me and they made another one. I cut it while he was there. It was raw. When I say raw it was raw. I asked for manager, as this is not waiters fault and he had been very pleasant. She came I told her what happened including ordering kale salad that they apparently ran out of. I told her I ordered and asked for steak to be done medium. I opened the steak for her and said at what temperature do you think this is?? She said raw!! I said yes!!! I said I can’t eat this. She said let me make this right for you as this was first time visiting. I said you know it okay I’ll pass she said no I’m make it again and speak to them. I told her this will be third time maybe o should get something else. She assured me 3rd time was charm. When the 3rd steak came back. it was burnt and overcooked. You could see the burnt char in fact you could scrape it!! I at this point had enough and brought my plate personally to kitchen. The cook was mad the manager didn’t know what to say. I told them it was a shame and wrong and the third time why would you even serve burnt food. don’t think the steak could be cooked right you should have listened and let me order something else. I wish their was more attentiveness and that the rest of food could be hot not cold. Even the biscuit butter was so cold you couldn’t get to butter. The stress to enjoy a nice dinner out was ruined after even driving over 45min. I came in hungry left hungry."

"I've been to Barrel twice for brunch and once for happy hour. Each time enjoyed myself. For brunch, I've gotten the waffle with a side of eggs and the honey chicken biscuit. Both were good. The chicken biscuit comes with potato chips but the only con is you can't really substitute the chips for anything like the home fries. But let's get to the best part of brunch, the unlimited mimosas! The unlimited option comes with a decanter of orange juice and cranberry juice, as well as a peach syrup. They bring a bottle of champagne on ice and you can make your mimosas how you like, which is my favorite part.They also have an awesome bourbon and whiskey selection. I've been for happy hour too and had a nice time. I love bourbon so it's nice to go somewhere with so many options. The service this past weekend was great and we had a good time. Overall, barrel is a solid choice for brunch and for drinks."

"great hotel restaurant with high food quality and a casual, imaginable atmosphere. the restaurant itself is located from the lobby next to the hotel bar, but poor of the gastronomy was never a problem. the menu itself has a lot of great dinner options, including generous appetizers (the charcuterie and cheeseboard and crabcake are my favorite,) and amazing escape. the grilled sea bass was perfectly tender and fluffy, and the pairings were solid. I tasted the chocolate cake and the apple ethanada for dessert – two different taste profiles that were both excellent surfaces to a wonderful meal. for drinks, the bar offers a typical price next to a cocktail menu, on which the staff is very proud, as well as 8 local texas beer on the tap. omar and unsul helped us; both were very friendly and professional. if they stay in the west, I would definitely recommend visiting urban south dine, and if they are a local in the environment, it is still a good opportunity to dinner."

"The home fries were cooked to a perfect crispiness and the combination of regular potatoes and sweet potatoes was a nice touch. Unfortunately, the Eggs Benedict was a letdown as the poached eggs were overcooked. The biscuit was dry and lacking flavor. The hash scrambled dish was supposed to come with bacon and sausage, but there was barely any meat. The first round of coffee was lukewarm, but the second round was served hot. The restaurant offers a lovely covered patio seating area where diners can enjoy the beautiful weather. The service was attentive and excellent, despite it being a busy day for Father's Day. Additionally, paying with cash resulted in a small discount."

"My wings was the only thing worth eating, I spent 20 minutes waiting on food because I did ask for fresh wings. That’s understandable, but I get home my so called gravy is gravy water it was terrible I poured it out. The biscuits were also terrible I put those in the garbage as well. The potatoes looked like potatoes Instant potatoes. That was my first time there and my last. And who ever owns this building it’s need a total remodel job inside and out. They need to put some money into this restaurant. Ridiculous!"

"My family and I have been coming to Frisco for 30+ years and the gingerbread house has never been better. The new owners are the kindest and most thoughtful people ever, not to mention the food is amazing! We went early one day and asked if they had any gingerbread turtles and they said no but would happily make some for us to pick up the next day. How kind is that?! The previous owners told us that they didn 't even like making that stuff anymore and rarely had a full case of desserts. What a night and day difference. We will be loyal customers forever! I also have to say, the first year they opened, we asked for gingerbread men and they said they were experimenting with shapes but didn 't know if they would end up selling them. The owner then went to the back and literay gave us two contrainers full of gingerbread whales at no charge and said they were just experiments and he was happy to give them to us. I 'll never forget that kindness. We had a house full of happy kiddos : . Thank you to the owners!!"

"If your coffee order is wrong (I ordered a cappuccino but received an Americano) and you find yourself at one of only two tables occupied by customers, that's definitely an issue. The Avocado Toast was nice, but the menu in the restaurant doesn't match what’s listed on OpenTable. As a local in South Beach, I can honestly say this is the worst brunch experience on the beach."

"While one person in our group requested a replacement, it was brought to the table without the requested change. The rest of the food was served, and the salmon arrived 10 minutes later, even though the restaurant wasn't busy. I wish there were more vegetarian options available. Our waitress was very apologetic, but she didn’t offer any solutions. Perhaps we should give it another try."

"In July 2022 we went through the drive through and ordered Extra Crispy Chicken. They said it would be about 10 minutes so we paid and parked. About 15 minutes later, the manager, CORY, came out to the car and apologized for the wait, but it would beanother 20 minutes wait for the Extra Crispy Chicken. He substituted for Regular Chicken and told us he would make it up to usnext time we were there. In August about 45 days later, we were back in Glen Carbon and went in. Cory duplicated our originalorder and added a couple of extra pieces of chicken. The order was almost $30 and he was true to his word and there was nocharge. I was surprised at his keeping his word. We went home very impressed with Cory and ate our dinner which was great. Wewill keep going there."

"Disappointing evening all around. Waited 20 mins to be greeted by Waiter. Waited another 30 mins for Vodka Martini order and it was not chilled. Waiter apologized for delay after one hour. One hour/25mins later dinner was served but Scallops were undercooked and other items listed on menu were not on plate, Butter Chicken was overcooked and rice was lukewarm, Beet Salad was unappetizing. Asked to speak with either mgr or owner THREE times. After 20 MORE mins, we walked away from table without eating since no one ever returned and food was inedible. Our waiter had been MIA. So, I spoke with another waiter to explain why we were leaving and would not be paying for our order. HE was very apologetic and said he wishes we had a better experience but understood why we were leaving. Restaurant was PACKED and only saw three waiters. Will NOT be returning but hopefully this feedback will help staff improve customer relations and food prep."

"This restaurant never fails to impress. The food is incredibly fresh and flavorful. I found that the natural drinks in the cooler are quite high in sugar, so be cautious. The BBQ ribs are outstanding, the mac and cheese is delicious, and the desserts are fantastic. The apple cake could use a bit more sugar, but perhaps that's why it's vegan. Overall, the best vegan food I've ever had. The staff is professional and knowledgeable about their products. They often forget that they are serving vegan food because it's so tasty. I gave them four stars only because the parking situation is not great - it's street parking only. But aside from that, it's the best vegan restaurant around."
