"It was our first time here. I thought our waitress was attentive and friendly. We ordered a take out meal as well. She made sure she had our order correct including a substitution of broccoli for spinach in a take out order, before placing the order. We dined early so there were a few other customers but we could tell that they were expecting a busy Friday night. We both liked our entrees and the garlic bread. We will be back."

"This is the first time my wife and I have ever walked out of a restaurant. Party of 2, arrived at 6pm for a 6:30pm reservation. My wife and I enjoyed a drink at the bar, which was excellent. We were then seated outside at 6:30, and things went downhill. We saw 2-3 servers/staff stop and look at us but no one, no one, said anything to us, let alone greet us. It was a gorgeous night and we were chatting so we didn't pay much mind. After a bit, however, it was ridiculous. My wife went to the hostess stand. We were quickly given some bread and waters. It was 7:05pm. We were told the manager and a server would be over in a minute. At this point we were done. At 7:08pm we had it and left, opting to walk a short distance to Lib's Grill. On the walk over I called the restaurant to ask why we were ignored and spoke with the manager. While pleasant and apologetic out night out was compromised. She said they were short staffed and had several large parties that needed attention. We were very much looking forward to a good night and what looked and smelled to be great food. The manager asked us to come back and she would give us a $25 gift certificate. I said we were there for 38 minutes at a table, in the front to boot, and were completely ignored. Why would we walk back? In this day and age, completely unacceptable. Shame on Galliano, thank you Lib's Grill for a terrific meal and outstanding service!"

"I had a fantastic brunch experience overall, rating it a 4.5 out of 5. Jamie, our server, deserves a perfect score of 5 out of 5 – he was outstanding. The restaurant has an a la carte menu, which is not my favorite style, but the prices are very reasonable. I ordered the buttermilk pancakes, potatoes, and sausage, and the portion sizes were just right for me – enough to satisfy me without overeating. The potatoes were absolutely delicious, the best I've ever had. I don't know what they seasoned them with, but I almost wanted to order more. However, I managed to resist the temptation! For brunch drinks, I tried the pear bellini and mimosa, which were a bit bland but did the trick. It seemed like the drinks were pre-mixed and served from a pitcher. Besides the amazing food, Jamie really stood out during our meal. He was quietly attentive, able to gauge the mood of our table and provide service at just the right times. When my friend and I were having a private conversation, he respected our space and did not interrupt. I highly recommend this restaurant for a great brunch experience."

"I met a business associate for lunch, and made reservations. According to the restaurant listing (The staff will seat you even if you don't have reservations, but apparently the place is well known and well regarded so reservations are a good idea). The staff was very friendly and courteous (even gave me driving directions once I was close by, since I am new to the area and had never been there). The food tasted great (She crab soup was very good) and we had to wait less than 10 minutes before the rest of our meal was served. I was impressed with how quickly and efficiently we were served. The atmosphere was very classy, elegant and lighting and decor were pleasant. The wait staff were all wearing button up shirts, ties and white aprons, and they were friendly, responsive and very knowledgeable about the menu. The food prices were quite reasonable, and I would say that overall it was a great dining experience. Certainly, this is one of the nice restaurants in the Triangle area. I highly recommend it!"

"Stanley's is an iconic sports bar in North Wilmington that has been in existence since 1935. It's a fun place to watch a game. We were most recently there for a double header Phillies World Series game, and an Eagles Game. The food is good pub food. The service is great. As far as ambience goes, it used to be a 5+, but after a remodel a few years ago nearly all the memorabilia was removed in favor of more TVs. Our party, who all grew up going to Stanleys all agree that it really lost something when that happened. Therefore it is at a 4. Still a fun place though."

"We were in town visiting and stopped by one world to eat. I ordered the bacon swiss chicken sandwich. The chicken was undercooked and tasted like rubber. I asked to exchangeit for another entree, and then it took about 20 min for them to bring that out. They also charged me for the replacement meal even after the waitress acknowledged that the chicken was undercooked. Ive never left a bad review, bit it's ridiculous when your paying this much money to eat out. It was definitely overpriced for the quality of the food."

"Upon entering this establishment, we were treated to a breathtaking view of a basket full of toilet paper rolls, while also sandwiched in-between the busy kitchen door and bathrooms. The drinks were sub-par. The seasonal sangria was nothing more than a watered down glass of cheap white wine with a light dash of cinnamon sprinkled on top. The habanero honey wings did not feature any sauce, and were bare naked chicken wings. The black bean veggie burger was listed with a choice of cheese, however, we were never asked to choose and it came dryer than the Sahara Desert along with being well overdone. The Good Life Burger, however, was completely underdone when asked for medium rare. Finally, the side of ranch, which is a 50 cent upcharge, was the equivalent to plain greek yogurt. There was absolutely no flavor to it, which didn 't seem possible up until now. The fried mac and cheese bites were decent. Overall, our entrees were left half eaten, as we were eager to get the check and leave."

"We shared a large salad and an excellent pizza, and included wine. All were excellent. The server was friendly, helpful, and checked with us frequently to make sure we had everything we needed. The only thing I would change is the ambiance. Bright overhead lights cast a less than pleasant glare on the tables, and this wasn't helped by the lack of any other more intimate lighting plus the lack of any real decoration on the walls. Put up some lower-level lighting at or over each table, and use some more colorful or interesting paint, and the ambience would then match the excellent food and service."

"Surprise Birthday Brunch for my Mom. Our server Beth was amazing!! Mom got bottomless Mimosa and her glass never went below half. She made amazing suggestions as well. There was live music too! Lots of chatting, everyone was so friendly that different parties were have conversations across tables!! It was wonderful!! Definitely returning on a weekly basis if I can!! :"

"Food was bland. Chicken Parmigiana breading did not sick to chicken. Chicken is definantly frozen not fresh. You can tell by the weird texture. Sauce completely bland most likely straight from a can. Fries were bad. Tiramisu had pieces of ice in it which shows it is frozen as well and not homemade. Had no flavor. Just cold cream and stale cake which makes my first Tiramisu experience very disappointing. Will not be returning for items I can get from frozen food section at grocery store for less money."

"I went this past Friday after seeing video upon advertised video on Instagram of the pan con queso. Oh boy, I was excited. There was a 20 minute wait for my food to arrive once I ordered it. A lot of the reviews mentioned this so I was prepared, but hungry! The pan con queso looked promising when I got the cheese pull demonstrated in my first photo, but there was an initial concern when there were 2, not one, patties of cheese. Let me explain, 2 patties would generally make me happy but it doesn?t mean you get more cheese. Two patties means you get double the breading, and worse there is an aftertaste on your tastebuds of the oil that lingers around for a while. It?s more like pan con un poquito de queso y mas pan con el flavor de aceite. Once my initial bite was over, I noticed even more that the amount of cheese to bread ratio was off. In my second photo it appears to be the thickness of one slice of cheese. I?m trying to give you all the benefit of the doubt. Maybe all of the cheese comes out with that initial cheese pull? The third picture shows what happened when I had to hunt for my queso. I will go back to try something else, and hopefully I can review again with a higher rating. The pan con queso is a no go for me though. 3 stars because it had potential, but it is highly NOT recommended unless Taino?s wants to give me what is advertised on Instagram."

"The sandwiches and sushi here are truly incredible! We asked our waitress for her recommendations, and she suggested several options, including a few sandwiches. The sandwich that I think was called "the best sandwich ever" definitely lived up to its name, and the steak sushi roll was fantastic—something I've never experienced before. It was an unforgettable dining experience!"

"I had not been to this resto for a very long time. Since my last visit they have redecorated/renovated but maintained the same menu elements and the same fabulous service (though obviously different service.) The food quality and taste was great, not something you always see in a menu that does Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner. The standouts at our table were the mussels, tourtiere, Coq, Boef Bourguinon. Tacky I know but we all tasted everything! The burger was kind of out of place in this company. Décor is pleasant and rustic at the same time. There are two service areas. There is a view of the Human Rights Museum, Bridge, and River. Though that also means the evening sun shines into the room at times. Not a problem there were blinds, and the A/C kept it comfortable. A word or two on Price. The online menu is out of date, its about 10% low. The place is not cheap, but is on par with other restaurants I have reviewed in Winnipeg. For those looking for a different experience, they do a Prix Fixe menu on most nights for about 3/4's of what a meal off menu would cost. It is chefs choice and changes. House wine was very drinkable and priced in line. The Prix Fixe offers the option of Wine Pairings (recommended) for each dish at $18 per person total. But to end this review I go back to the service. From the moment we arrived to the moment we left (a long time later) the service was wonderful and friendly. Definitely going back!"

"Came to Florida on vacation and decided to venture up to Naples from Fort Myers to see a friend of ours playing in a band. Dinner reservations were made at Bistro 821. The hour plus ride to get there was more aggravating as an airplane had crashed on the highway. When we finally arrived at the restaurant, I could tell we were in an upscale establishment. I asked our server Rob what he recommended. He said that the Chilean Sea Bass was most popular. I was in a quandary because the also served Wagyu beef. He pointed out the pick 2 and pick 3 options. I chose the pick 3 where I could have smaller portions and pick 3 entrees. I chose the sea bass, wagyu sirloin and lobster tail. When asked how I wanted my steak i replied mooing. When the plate arrived i was shocked to see a virtually raw steak. Just the way I wanted. Perfect for my tastes. The star of the plate was the sea bass. Quite frankly the best piece of fish I've ever had. Marinated in saki in a wine verblanc sauce to die for. An absolute killer taste. The Executive Chef Jonathan DeRue even came out. (I think he wanted to see who ordered the raw steak). I told him i had a new favorite restaurant. The entire meal was amazing. I spoke to Rob about dessert which I probably wasn't going to order until he said Bananas Foster. As an alcoholic, I explained the need to completely cook off the alcohol. He went back to the kitchen and told me that Jonathan would take care of it personally. Bananas Foster over a home made sugar waffle. I thought I died and went to heaven! I now know that i have to return to Naples and if we ever decide to relocate to Florida, it will be to the west coast somewhere near Naples!"

"Took a guest there for their birthday who inquired of the manager in passing where the restroom was. The manager advised my guest that they were presently speaking to someone else so they would have to wait until he finished. Of course my guest was offended. I asked for the manager and when he arrived at our table his demeanor was offensive. When I asked about the encounter he confirmed that he had shunned the information request of my guest, however no Ill will was intended. I pointed out that perception of patrons is paramount in the service industry, regardless of intent. He responded that it is not the first time that someone has interpreted his actions and words in such a manner. There did not seem to be any genuine remorse or concern for my guests feelings. More so an indifference to the fact that the event had occurred. Needless to say, in spite of what seemed as a cursory apology, the evening for my guest ended on less than a high note. Therefore I am neither likely to return or recommend the establishment. Too bad because the wait service was excellent."

"The steak we ordered medium was definitely medium rare. My date felt uncomfortable about sending it back for more cooking. The baked potato was dry and overcooked, with the skin nearly burnt. Overall, it was a very disappointing experience."
