"Really enjoyed this Marriott. It is everything I would expect from one of their properties, but historic and right in the middle of everything downtown. Rooms are nice and well appointed, but like other historic properties the layout in some rooms can be odd, tight, etc. The bathroom had a narrow layout, but there was plenty of room for one person to navigate. Shower pressure was decent, and they had nice big towels which I don't always see in other properties. Room was clean, spacious, and front desk was quick to deliver a couple extra pillows and have maintenance switch out the mini fridge that wasn't working. There was a cozy lobby bar area, and we walked up the stairs to get a glimpse of the beautiful ballroom and meeting room level for events. This hotel had a pool and hot tub that was shared with the Courtyard(they are connected by the parking garage entrance but have their own separate lobbies). The pool was open, but the hot tub was roped off for repairs or updates. Parking was $15 which I thought was reasonable for a downtown hotel. Location is great they are across the street from some nightlife and there are several restaurants within walking distance. The bartender, front desk staff were all very kind, helpful, and we really enjoyed our stay. We will definitely make this our go to hotel in Peoria."
