"The food at this restaurant is top-notch and I usually opt for delivery. However, on my last order when I requested my burgers to be rare, they arrived overcooked and extremely well-done. Everyone makes mistakes, so I am willing to give them another chance, especially since they have never messed up before. I will wait to see how the next order turns out before giving a final rating, but I am hopeful for a 5-star experience."

"Wishbone started in the West Loop long, long before most other places that exist in the area today, and they used to have other locations. Their current West Loop location is newer and it's now the only one. This Cajun inspired restaurant has greatbreakfast dishes like a Jambalaya Omelet and Crunchy French Toast (that is crunchy and delicious). Sides and a corn muffin comewith most dishes and you've got a choice of cheesy grits, collard greens, and a number of other southern style sides. There's afull bar and a fun, mostly fruity, specialty drink list. They keep the coffee coming, service has always been good, and the menuoffers breakfast, lunch, and dinner. The only downside is that the dining room is pretty noisy and often has large groups."

"I am really glad to have tried this place. I would have never known about it if my friend had suggested we try it out. They have quite a few options on their lunch menu and regular menu. The calamari definitely was the favorite, but I also enjoyed the friedzucchini. The Boston clam chowder was good, but I want to try their red chowder next time out of curiosity. Both the fried andgrilled seafood were cooked and seasoned well."

"I was passing through Louisiana and I decided I wanted a spicy chicken sandwich for lunch and the Google recommended Copeland's. Everyone was dressed in black and white, with long black aprons, and masked up. The place looked very fancy and I was worried about being under dressed so I sat in the bar and watched sports news on the TV. I decided to have the Jazzy Wings appetizer which was oily but delicious, it came with ranch celery sticks. I could have and should have made that my whole meal. The chicken sandwich came on a croissant lightly breaded and fried with a few tomato slices, spicy mayo, a dab of coleslaw. Long story short it is a messy sandwich and you are going to have to wash your hands after, but it was good."

"The food here has become bland, and the last few times I’ve gotten food to go from here they have left food out. For instance, today, 8/3/24, they failed to include the rice for both mine and my husband’s meals. The meals were **** with out the rice. They also did not include his side items. We were extremely disappointed. The food costs way too much for them to be making such big mistakes. I won’t be going back, nor will I be recommending Buzzard Billy’s to anyone. Which is sad because before I moved here I used to visit from out of state and eat at Buzzard Billies on every visit—the food and service were amazing back then! Not anymore. What happened Buzzard Billies?"

"This was our first time visiting Plank, a party of 4, and it was fantastic. The atmosphere was laid back yet elegant, and the food was amazing. Despite a packed dining area and bar, the service was exceptional. We highly recommend Plank and the surrounding area, which is very eclectic, fun, and safe. We will definitely be back when our team returns to the MCWS."

"I went with a group of friends two nights earlier, then went back on Saturday. It was great! The name makes it sound like a fried fish place at the beach, but it’s not AT ALL! Lots of fresh fish choices, interesting sides, attractive presentation. I had grilled fish tacos both times. My husband had the salmon and thought it was delicious. It was a little loud on Saturday night, but manageable; much quieter on Thursday. We loved it and will definitely be back."

"Visiting Charleston for an overnight and I made a reservation a few months ago following a friend's recommendation. Most disappointing meal of our trip. First, the restaurant smells bad, the carpets must need a really good scrub. Second, hostess should not have their cups of Starbucks in open view of the customers, that's just poor hospitality. We were taken to our table and our waiter was very sweet explained the specials and made small talk. We ordered cocktails and appetizers. Took a little long to arrive and the food was lukewarm. It wasn't great either. The mac cheese is good but at room temperature. We waited with our dirty plates on the table until our main courses arrived and had to help the waiter clear up the table so he could place our plates on the table. That's restauration 101... table should be cleared before the second round comes out. I had the Mahi Mahi it was again lukewarm and dry. My husband had the shrimp and grits good and my son really like the fried chicken. We ordered an expensive bottle of white wine and it wasn't cold when it got to our table. We had to ask for additional ice and cold water to cool it down. Overall will not recommend this restaurant."

"came here on a Friday night and sat in the bar. Loved the service Jonathan and the gentleman who shook the oysters when they were on him, always turned off plates and kept drinks filled. Food was great and even better was the pricing .85 cents for an oyster? Sure! Crab Bowl was great and enjoyed my lobster role. The roasted Pita chips. Will deft comes back"

"We wanted a place close to the Palace Theater as we were seeing a show after we ate, and this fit the bill...right down the street. The atmosphere is pub like with a long bar, tables for dining, a dartboard and skeeball; the noise level was loud enough considering it was only on a Saturday night and the place was not crowded. We ordered the loaded fries as an appetizer which was great for two people and had a decent amount of pulled pork mixed with the fries. My hubby got a BBQ burger and I got the brisket sandwich. We both felt they were overpriced at each for the size of the sandwiches and the small side that came with them. I asked for the lean cut of brisket, but found my sandwich to be very fatty, losing about half of it to the fat I pulled off the meat. My husband was not impressed by his burger. The BBQ sauce on the table was very watery. We checked the table next to ours to see if the consistency was better, but it wasn't. Overall, the experience was okay, not great. I would probably look to try a different restaurant next time"

"It was my mother's birthday and she chose this place. I checked the reviews and immediately knew this was not worth the visit. I made an OpenTable reservation, but this does not have a system to check in these reservations, but use a notebook. Don't understand why they're here yet. The manager I think led us to a remote area in the back there was another table, so it really felt lonely : . Anyway, we all arrived and the server w/a tattoo on his arm did not imagine) lacking service so much I wanted to complain, but I did not want to ruin the day. The server would ignore all the guys, even if they were longer there and the women ask for drinks, and one thing he went on to take instead of all drinks orders at once. It probably took half an hour to get drinks. I got her new bright beer, which was good, another person got a goose butter and it was too flat for tasting, we had to send it back to the switching point twice. Then we ordered three appetizers: goat cheese fondue, Calamari and something with vegetables. The Calamari was so depressing NOT WORTH IT. It was gummy and tiny like popcorn chicken! The presentation was terrible. The goat cheese fondue also depressed 5 sliced pieces of bread with a bowl of cheese. Then our entrees came, everyone enjoyed their food, which was good, but it didn't wake me, or anyone else. The server came once to check on us and then MIA. Once we finished with our entrees, we waited for the server to hopefully ask ourselves if we want dessert. Not even he mentioned Dessert, but he gave us many times. I had to throw him down and ask if they did something for a day. I ordered my mother a chocolate slice and it was delicious, then we order bread pudding, which was good. Overall, I would never come back unless I drink. It has more a bar atmosphere than anything else. I would not recommend this place for a special occasion."

"I had high hopes for Ole Savannah, given that it's hard to go wrong with Southern comfort food, and the its location on the banks of Esopus Creek. But from the minute the bland, watery cocktails arrived, lunch was expensive and disappointing. There was only one server covering the entire floor, my order was wrong, my partner's entree was overcooked, my father-in-law waited 10 minutes for ketchup for his fries. Overall, it's a nice place to go to enjoy a beer on the patio in the summer, but the food doesn't justify its NYC prices by a long shot."

"The staff was SO friendly that in a city full of friendly people they still stood out.We did the breakfast buffet for $16/person and it was totally worth it. All the staples of a good buffet and it was cooked well! The bacon and sausage particularly stood out to me.I also ordered a pineapple juice that I think was mixed with Sprite or something because it was a little fizzy and very sweet. But on a morning when it was 90+ degrees outside it was much needed.I'd definitely recommend!"
