"This has to be one of the worse experiences we have had eating out. When we arrived the host had us sit at the bar vs having the table we booked. The staff behind the bar was not following proper food safety (shucking oysters without washing their hands first, eating cucumber garnishes without washing their hands before returning to work, and touching the inside of clean glassware). Not to mention the food was awful and 100% not fresh seafood by any means."

Good simple food at a reasonable price. Sat outside, it was like sitting a neighbor's backyard, very pleasant.

First time dining at King Crab after passing by for years. Food and ambience was very good. Our server was terrific. I'd go back.

Once again, we had a great server, good food and wonderful desserts. It was tough to stay awake at the Steppenwolf because I was so comfortable. View menu

Excellent outdoor patio in the rear, pretty flowers and quiet space. King crab legs are always excellent here. A regular dinner for us before Steppenwolf.

It was me and my husband's anniversary and the mood and decor was just right for us. The service is excellent and the all you can eat crab leggs were fresh and warm and sooo good!

Ordered Cajun Boill (snow crab and shrimp). Was excellent. Service was terrific. Chesapeake oysters on halfshell were terrific as well. Room temp was slightly chilly, but only to 2 of our party of 3. Wonderful meal! A+ View menu

We made reservations for our daughter’s 21st birthday and the food and drinks did not disappoint. I appreciate the meal course options as we went with the three course with calamari, king crab and tiramisu. We had a great conversation with the manager (maybe owner) who has a great smile! We will be back.

I had Scott as my server and he was amazing! It did get a little busy and he got caught behind, but he used his communication skills which put all of us at ease. I really enjoyed how we were able to do the bar menu at the table, what a surprise the entire restaurant is a part of the bar lol .89 oysters if you bought two drinks and Baby were they huge and fresh. I am coming back again and bringing my mom this time. This might be our spot from now on!

"Tempesta is arguably one of the best sandwich shops in the city. They make a lot of their meats in house and use high quality ingredients so you know you’re getting the good stuff. Not only can you get a great sandwich, you can purchase most of their meats to go as well as other small artisanal grocery items. I have tried almost every sandwich they have on the menu but my top two choices would be the #1 The Dante and the #2 Yo! Vincenzo! The Dante is their version of a classic Italian sandwich but a bit on the spicier side. The Yo Vincenzo is a chicken parm and I personally think it’s the best chicken parm sandwich in the city. The chicken is perfectly crispy, and they use just the right amount of sauce where it doesn’t get soggy. Both of these sandwiches come on their fresh baguette which helps set them apart from other sandwich spots in Chicago just because of how good it is. The B Franklin is also a great option, and if you’re starving get the Wagyu Pastrami but be warned it is a very heavy sandwich because of that Wagyu. The last pro tip I’ll add in here is order your sandwich ahead of time if you’re doing takeout. This is a very popular spot and is always busy during the lunch rush so if you wait to order until you arrive you may need to wait for 10-15 minutes. That should speak to how good this place is because it’s in such high demand, so if you’re in Chicago make sure you stop in!"
