"Food is always incredibly phenomenal from here. We ordered several different things to try and they were all amazing! This was our first time going in to eat here, we usually order them off of Grubhub. We definitely recommend! The only reason why I didn?t give full five stars is because when we first came in, the hostess seemed miserable and acted like we were a burden for coming in. She warmed up after a while but seemed absolutely miserable and it made us feel really uncomfortable. And when we asked for the check, we were still munching on some stuff and talking but the waitress stood over us waiting and then asked for our payment as we?re still eating..."

"The Sea Watch provides a wonderful dining experience with a beautiful view of the ocean from comfortable tables in a well-decorated room. The dinner menu offers a variety of options to suit any taste, including non-fish options. The chef even graciously made a hamburger for a guest who didn't like fish, which was much appreciated. Dining right by the ocean adds to the enjoyable experience. One small suggestion would be to have place mats or table covers for hygiene purposes, although overall cleanliness seems to be a priority at the restaurant."

"I usually have a good experience here, but yesterday it was terrible. service was so poor and our waitress was extremely inconspicuous. it took too long to get our food and drinks, and when my food arrived, my steak was a lot of room temperature. not to mention that they are from kartomas and the roasted kartomas we chose were not very good. we expected a nice dinner for the birthday of my daughter and I really regretted to choose this place."

"The food was excellent—truly excellent. However, there was an issue. I had placed a simple order with three items, but one of them was missing. The hostess, with an overly confrontational attitude, simply said, “Yeah, they forgot to put it in the bag. If you still want it, you can come get it.” When I asked for the charge to be removed from my card, she began to scold me and told me to calm down. I requested to speak with a manager, but they just laughed and put me on hold for an eternity. When I called back, they hung up on me. It’s clear there’s a lack of training and negligent customer service. There seems to be no oversight in the front of the house—while the cooks might do their jobs well, it appears that the staff who are supposed to serve customers just don’t care."

"This review is for the outside only bar and restaurant. . The good: The location is awesome. Right on the waterway great views. The service is usually pretty good. The wait staff is fairly quick and friendly. The live bands are always good. The food isn't bad. Not great, but good for bar style platters. The not so good: The food and drink prices are high (but that seems to be the case with many local bars inflation, I guess and there's not a great selection if you like craft beers. The main reason for missing stars in the rating (I almost gave 3 is that the deck dock that holds the outside seating area is usually overcrowded. The tables are too close to each other, and there are usually people dancing, eventually (at least when there is a live band . When Fat Mezz (check them out a truly great local band! played a week or two back, the amount of people was intolerable, at least for me. Maybe I'm getting old ; . Only some of the tables that get direct sunlight have umbrellas. It can get HOT out there. All said, I know I will be back there several times this summer, if only for the live music and fresh air."

"The Saltwater Grill has been a Galveston staple for some time. I was encouraged that the menu has been updated with new items, while preserving some of their best offerings - I swear the Shanghai Delight is laced with Prozac because I'm always happy when I eat it. This time I tried one of their new "naked" offerings, hoping the fish would be allowed to shine. I had the grilled redfish, which was done perfectly - the very thin edges were a little crisp and carmelized but the fish was still moist and flavorful. I did miss the bread - this was one of the few restaurants in town that started with something with substance, so I was quite disappointed when a little crock of crackers appeared instead of bread. The restaurant is very noisy - I was ok hearing my companions but certainly couldn't hear the server well."

"Service was AWFUL! I chose to spend my birthday brunch with my family at your restaurant. The waiter only came to check on our table once throughout the whole meal. He forgot my granddaughters chocolate milk and our mimosas twice with everything coming to the table at once. We love dessert here and thought we were looking forward to sharing some for my birthday. We waited minutes for him to return but where was waldo? Not sure we flagged someone else down to clear the table and ask for the check because we were so frustrated we decided to skip dessert. My husband gave him which was far more generous than I would have given him for inept service!"

"We had a fantastic evening at the restaurant. Our waiter, Joe, was amazing! He was very attentive, promptly refilling our water and ensuring that our dinner was served at a nice pace. The M&S cocktail was enjoyable and not overly sweet. We indulged in a few dozen raw oysters, which may have been small but were incredibly flavorful! We shared the Walnut Mixed Greens salad, which was ample for two. My husband had the Halibut special, while I savored the perfectly cooked Hawaiian Bigeye Ahi Tuna. To top it off, we were pleasantly surprised with a complimentary dessert for our anniversary, and it was absolutely delicious! The atmosphere was quiet and cozy, with low lighting, and the prices were reasonable compared to other nice restaurants in the area. I highly recommend this place!"

"absolutely good food. we had the best eating in ac in a long time. great atmosphere (we have dined outside) my wife and my daughter went back and they also shaved over it. I can't expect to come back. bake the seafood that I believe they call it great. all parts were huge. crab tacos! did you drink that bucket? Now I understand that they don't want to keep these big drinks, but the only complaining I would have was that they were a little weak. Maybe it was just the bartender we had. it's been a few months since I was there that I wrote this review, and only on the pictures I wish I could go today! I am several hours in new york, so it is not exactly convenient for me to visit regularly. that is said I will go every time I visit atlantic city! I was not a big fan of bally’s casino. I really don't even like to come to harry! but it is worth it. an absolute must when in atlantic city."

"The amount of little things wrong will make me sound like a Karen, but I promise I don’t normally give bad reviews, however I paid $30 just to have the igloo experience and really had hopes for a decent lunch date. Upon arrival they placed us in the igloo without a view even though the closer one to the water was available. Not the biggest issue however-Our igloo stunk of seafood mixed with a plastic smell the moment we walked in… it deff needs to be aired out in between guests. We were then forgotten for 20 mins after being seated and I had to go in and let the host know we hadn’t been seen yet. Our waiter seemed super annoyed when he finally came out, was in and out without really speaking to us. I get it, working in a restaurant is not always the easiest, however the place was pretty empty on the lunch hour. I felt like a burden to him, which doesn’t feel good when you’re paying to eat and extra for the igloo. Just felt underwhelming and I left feeling disappointed. I will note the front hostess was super sweet and kind and was very friendly and helpful, so I really don’t want my review to reflect the entire staff. Honestly, save your money- the igloo wasn’t worth the hype."

"Went to have dinner with just myself and my daughter. Ordered,part of my meal came , waited for my other part, also was waiting for her dish the whole time. They finally bring my food yet not my daughters . Waited another 5 mins and I said my food is cold and she still had not received her food yet, so they remake my plate.. yet still no sign of my daughters..I get comped a drink and an appetizer… Do you think I came looking for that ???‍ No. I wanted to just have a nice hot meal with my daughter and instead we had to wait and then the funny part is , that we were there so long it past the free parking limit.. it’s what 1:30-2 hours free then you pay.. yeah had to pay for being there past the free time.."

"As we approached the restaurant, the beautiful lighting set a welcoming atmosphere. On a chilly winter evening, the cozy ambiance was truly inviting. The bartender offers an impressive menu featuring her own cocktail creations. The hosts were gracious, and our waiter was both helpful and friendly. The standout feature of this restaurant is undoubtedly the food. Our group of four adults shared three different appetizers, ordered four distinct entrees, and indulged in two desserts together. WOW! This culinary experience surpassed even the upscale Manhattan restaurants I've visited. Everyone was thrilled with their meal, and we all sampled each other's dishes because they were all absolutely scrumptious. I have no doubt that you can't go wrong with anything on the menu. Enjoy!"

"Coaches pub was a bit of a surprise to me. Our server was great funny and attentive. He really aimed to please. He couldn't help that their new cook was in charge of my 10 oz Ny strip steak medium rare bloody. They attempted twice to bring me a medium rare steak to no avail. I can say the second steak that came out was medium and unseasoned. If I had to guess he was upset he had to remake the first steak. Because the replacement was also overcooked but no flavor. I tried the pig out Burger my husband had and it was amazing. The pig out Burger is bursting with flavor. I was a little surprised 2 draft beers were $14... I did enjoy the homemade fries. Steer clear of the sour old tasting coleslaw."

"Went for brunch wanted steak and eggs however they were out of steak by 1pm. I ordered the fish and grits it had some sort of tomato base on top, flavor a little different than what I'm familiar to in Charleston area. I was given a slices of corn bread that shouldn't have been served. The corn bread looked as if someone had broken the top completely off. It should have never left the back of the house. I didn't mentioned it to the server because I strongly felt it shouldn't have made it to the customer, it was so disappointing. We usually enjoy ourselves at Rose's just minor hiccups today. The customer service was great."

"Incredible magical entertainment in an outstanding location overlooking the Pacific Ocean. The setting, the ambience is a great experience. My Sheperd’s Pie was disappointing. Lots of tasty meat, a bunch of mashed potatoes but way to dry and almost none of the veggies that should be there. My wife had the short ribs and they were good…not great. We will definitely go back as the setting is just too cool and totally unexpected. We thought we were going to end up in some non-descript neighborhood and instead you are sitting on a multi-million dollar piece of land overlooking the ocean. Our magic show tonight was awesome and he did a great job involving a lot of young people in the audience. If this place would just work on their recipes to be more authentic and true to the Irish heritage they would be 5 stars across the board."

"Anthony our server seemed overwhelmed , things were extremely slow from beginning to end. We had reservations and felt rushed at the end to leave by for the concert since everything dragged out all night long, we asked for our check when the dinners were delivered to help speed up things. Not sure how much was the servers fault or the bar/kitchen staff for the slow service. I picked M&S for us based on reputation and prior dining there years ago. I will give other restaurants a chance the next time I go downtown for dinner. Never saw a manager all night walking around checking things on the floor"

"The filet mignon was cooked to perfection, but it could have used a bit more seasoning. The salmon, however, was both overcooked and lacked flavor. The broccolini and asparagus were fresh and tender. The potato pancakes were well-seasoned and delicious. The grilled salad, on the other hand, didn’t come together as a cohesive dish. While the dressing was nicely flavored, using shaved cheese instead of the diced cheese on the side would have enhanced it. Overall, the experience was decent, but with a few adjustments to the cooking, it could become a great dining experience."

"I was excited to have dinner at this restaurant and made a reservation for five two days ahead of time. I even received a call from the restaurant to confirm our seating so we could enjoy the band. However, when we arrived on time, we still had to wait for tables to be arranged. Eventually, we were seated at the very last table upstairs, which happened to be in the blazing sun. Although we asked to move, there were no other tables available. The family sitting behind us complained about the sun to their waitress, who also struggled to see. Ultimately, we decided to leave and go to a different restaurant. The ambiance was underwhelming, and the coordination was lacking. While the hostess was very kind, we won't be returning."
