"Not impressed. Had reservation. Called ahead to confirm 8pm hibachi reservation because it's was son's birthday. Arrived and told there was no room for hibachi and we'd need to wait an hour. Said we could take a table instead if we wanted. Okay, fine. Too late to go anywhere else. Asked us to wait at the bar. Not sure why. Restaurant was nearly deserted except for hibachi area. Finally seated about 15 minutes later. Manager seemed oblivious and non-apologetic. Food was okay, not great. Drinks pricey. Great view if you enjoy looking through dirty windows. Very dark inside. Doubt we will go again."

"I recently stayed in the Bayside community and had the opportunity to visit The Cove for dinner and again for Sunday brunch. We had a fantastic experience during dinner, where our service was provided by a friendly young staff member who was eager to assist."

"We are regulars at Grinders, and we love it there! Whether your looking for lunch or dinner Grinders has great food for both. I personally love their Grinders, which are sub sandwiches, oven baked with all the right flavors. They also have many options for meats and toppings for their sandwiches. For dinner I get their honey barbecue chicken with cheesy baked hash browns. It is so good. I can say that almost everything on their menu is excellent. I would highly recommend eating here. The atmosphere and staff is wonderful. We have been going here since they opened and we love it there."

"My spouse and I enjoy dining at Max's, but it seems like they don't pay attention to their reservations. We had reserved a table for 5:00 and specifically requested standard seating instead of the bar area. However, when we arrived, they located our reservation, briefly searched in the dining room, and then a different staff member led us to a high-top table in the bar area. We were quite disappointed with this experience."

"We visited this restaurant expecting to have breakfast, only to realize that breakfast is served only on weekends. The Southlake location is fantastic, with plenty of on-street parking and a nearby garage. I ordered the blackened chicken burger and was pleasantly surprised by its delicious flavor. I also really enjoyed the fries, which I don’t recall loving before. While I'm not a fan of the Dallas Uptown location, I do like the Houston one, but I think this one might be my favorite Moxies yet. The restaurant itself is adorable, and it's a great spot for dinner, especially if you can sit on the patio on a nice day. Our waitress was incredibly friendly and attentive, always checking in to see if we needed anything. She even brought me my little to-go barbecue sauce before I had a chance to ask. Overall, it was a great dining experience. Service: Dine in Meal type: Lunch Price per person: $20–30 Recommended dishes: Blackened Chicken Burger"

"The food was like sad hospital food. I’ve been here years ago was so excited to bring my friend and we left disappointed and embarrassed. The chicken on chicken and waffles looked like country fried steak. The house style potatoes were literally just roasted potatoes not even a dash of salt on them. The sausage was a jimmy dean sausage patty heated up in the microwave. Our Brussels sprouts were somehow soggy and burnt? Overall super sad to see once a well deserved hyped restaurant go down the toilet. Like staff was fine whatever but the food was practically inedible"

"At the time I had dinner here, I was skeptical of the 3 star Yelp rating. I’ve never seen a fine dining steakhouse rated this low. Raw Oysters: 4/5 The restaurant had 5 different types of oysters from Massachusetts. When ordering different raw oysters, servers typically tell us what’s what. Instead, our server just dropped it off. Calamari: 4/5 pretty standard, hard to mess up Craft Beer Battered Fish Chips: 2/5 The batter wasn’t crispy fish not good. Center Cut Filet Mignon: 2/5 My medium rare ordered steak was medium well, a mistake steakhouses know not to make. It was the worst steak I’ve ever had at a steakhouse, fine dining or casual. Lobster Tail: 2/5 It was sad looking. Lobster Mashed Potatoes: 4/5 Service: 2/5 I suggested the $88 The Grand Seafood Platter that serves 2 4 people to my wife. Without anyone asking, the server suggested the $198 The High Roller Seafood Platter that serves 5 8. We were a table of 3 adults 2 young kids. It was a blatant inappropriate upsell without regard for my group that left me with a sour taste. The table wasn’t properly cleared. Old drinks weren’t taken away when new ones were brought. The table looked like a mess. It wasn’t a high end experience. Ambiance: 3/5 My wife isn’t as critical as I am, but we both said we wouldn’t come back."

"My grandmother introduced me to this restaurant nine years ago. It reminds her of Baltimore, where she used to go to the pier to get fresh blue crabs. I can see why she loved it! The staff is fantastic, and the owner is extremely attentive. His version of a margarita is absolutely divine! This is a place I always visit on Tuesdays for the two blue crab specials. The food is amazing, and it never disappoints."

"Food was good we ordered the Del Mar Chimichanga and Steak Chimichurri burrito. Aside from the thermostat inside reading that it was 85 degrees, service was very disappointing. It started with no silverware. The server was very slow and didn’t refill drinks without us having to ask (multiple occasions). The worst of it though, was the server shorting us $0.90 in change. When this was brought up to the owner, there was an apology, but it was never offered for us to get the correct change back. He did acknowledge that it was the principle of it, but did not once offer to give us the change to make it right. There were only 2 adults and 1 child in our party. We will not be back. Price per person: $20–30 Food: 4 Service: 1 Atmosphere: 2"

"Dinner on Christmas day. Appreciate everyone being there to serve us. The entrees, filet mignon and Crab and Shrimp stuffed Salmon were good. The salads, Walnut mixed greens, were average, a different mix of greens might have helped, the addition of grapes would definitely be good. My wife's side of seasonal vegetables was not very good. The cheesecake was good, the upside down candied walnut apple pie had a lot more crust than filling. We were in a large room filled with tables and the noise level was pretty high. In the past we have been in a booth in a different section and it was much more pleasant. Our waiter did not get by very often, however I would say that the restaurant was overbooked for the staff that they had so I did not blame that on him. Overall an average meal, not as good as their Thanksgiving meal in 2021. We will give them another try at a later time."

"year anniversary celebration server must have been new. Never acknowledged our anniversary even though the menu had printed happy anniversary. Server had dirty glasses on table and had to ask him to remove them. Ice server was told desert was not needed. We were still eating and he left the check to be paid. The Manager did come over and apologized for the poor service and took off our shrimp app/ she provided desert on the house and re-printed new Happy Anniversary years for us to take"

"I have always wanted to go to Redwood as i walk past it everyday on the way to work. So with being restaurant week, I figured this was the perfect time to go. Had a reservation for 7: 15 and I got there about 7:09. I was quickly seated outside which was very nice. My server Matt was with another table, so a nice bald gentleman took my appetizer order. The calamari. Which you would think okay that's pretty standard but nope not theirs. They were hot and crunchy, fried hard which i love. Then they are mix with sauce and banana peppers. Now prior to this I had never had banana peppers with calamari or at all for that matter. BUt now that's the only way I want them. By now Matt has come over and introduced himself and was very helpful in me making a second selection. The Salmon with a shrimp succotash!!! Now I have never been one to like lima beans BUT Redwood changed that! Between the salmon and the succotash it was too good. I happily cleaned my plate. Then for dessert, I had the mango cheesecake with a chocolate crust. WHATTT?!?!?!? That made my inner fat kid very happy. Three of my favorites all together what's better than that. I tell you, eating that on Thursday evening watching people walk by and enjoying themselves while you enjoy yourself at Redwood. I have told ever and any one who will listen about how good my experience was. I will be back for sure!!!!"

"The ambiance was amazing with excellent servers. The only negative was the food unfortunately. I ordered the lamb shank which came with Mac and cheese which I would give a for the taste and for the portion size. My spouse had the oz steak with sweet plantains. The steak was a solid but the plantains Iâd give a Our dessert was the cake tin which I would give a solid What the restaurant lacks in flavor they make up for it with the most decadent atmosphere. I would bring her back for drinks and dessert but probably never for food again."

"The red sauce here is the best I've ever tasted in South Florida, and it could easily compete with those in Brooklyn. The salad was fresh and vibrant, featuring a lovely mix of greens, cherry tomatoes, onions, and carrots. The garlic toast was a delightful change from the usual garlic rolls you find around here. The eggplant parmesan served with angel hair pasta was particularly impressive, beautifully presented. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Overall, this is a fantastic local Italian restaurant deserving of a solid 5-star rating."

"Came here for the first time today and it was a horrible experience the minute we walked through the door. My husband and I waited a good 7 minutes confused as heck because there was no hostess at the entrance. She was busy talking to another staff member and we couldn?t get her attention. We were talking about leaving. When she finally saw us we had to wait again for her to clean a table because she had been too busy talking to staff. Fast forward to the food. It was very bland. Our waiter never once came to check on our table and we needed refills. Let?s not forget that we weren?t given utensils for our food and had to wait again and ask someone who wasn?t our waiter because our waiter never once came to our table . Just overall a horrible experience and it wasn?t even a busy night. My plate was also dirty and had a hard yellow crumb stain. My husbands bread tasted old and nasty. Never coming back to this location again."
