"This was my first time at the Flagler Steakhouse but not the Breakers which is well known for excellence. The oysters were exceptional. The Caesar salad dressing which is made daily was excellent lots of garlic! Very good baked bread. The lobster was superb. The filet was ok you could cut with a butter knife but had very little flavor. The presentation was generic with 2 pieces of asparagus dumped atop the mashed potatoes; look at my photo horrible! not the best presentation which is better at Outback Steakhouse. My test for good service is if I have to ask to have beverages refilled for this meal I had to ask at least 3 times. So overall, compared to other similar venues, I would rate the service as fair. The servers were friendly though. The coffee was excellent. Overall, my expectations exceeded that of the service and meal and were definitely not up to the standards of the Breakers. Even the take home food bag had a stick on Breakers label that was falling off; it?s the little things that make a resort and this was not what I expected. Perhaps the Flagler steakhouse is too removed from the Breakers as the quality was subpar. I contacted the manager but never received a call back; so not interested in returning. The Ritz Carlton's are much better value for the money similar pricing but extreme attention to detail and to the customer. The worst part was I Ieft a message for the manager and never received a call back; this place has gone down hill!"

"Visiting from Milwaukee WI. I was looking forward to eating here, since the menu looked appealing. This wasn't the case. When I arrived. There was no host to greet or seat Mr. I had to walk over to the bar and ask for service. I chose to sit at the bar, since I was by myself. The bartender made me a mojito, which wasn't good at all. It was missing the balance of the line. Also, I could taste more alcohol, than syrup or club soda. The mint leaves weren't fresh. I barelydrank it. I ordered the shrimp and grits, with a side of Aspargus. The presentation was great. However, the taste wasn't. The grits were lumpy and bland. The bacon gave it a funny taste. I never had shrimp and grits with bacon. It didn'tgive it a good taste. I didn't see any sausages as the menu stated. It wasn't worth 24 dollars. The asparagus was good tho. Nice touch and wasn't overcooked. Overall. The rate was 2stars. I wouldn't visit again. I did tip the bartender.But, wrote a note for her to slow-down. She was running to the front to the back. Like literally running. She made her drinks too fast, which is probably why mine didn't taste well. Employees have to keep in mind that they are human and notrobots. Do your job effectively. That doesn't mean move at a high rate of speed. That's how you stumble and trip, accidentally. With me sitting at the bar, I overheard the workers, talking about certain customers and complaining. It wasvery unpleasant and unprofessional. Didn't appear appealing. Especially, with me sitting literally right there. They should be more conscious of whose around. I could have been a secret shopper. They would have failed if I were. Theatmosphere was nice. But, the food and drinks need work. Restaurant has great potential. Take this as corrective criticism. Not negative."

"Very poor service. Waitress was clueless. She brought the wrong food out to two of the children. Both plates were brought back. One of the plates returned was still wrong and had to be brought back again. By tike the children got their food everyone else at the table of 10 had eaten their food. One of the people at the table expressed how the children's food should be taken off the bill. She said she'd speak to the manager. (Manager never came to the table at all to address the situation, she stood at the bar talking) When everyone was done the waitress brought the bills. It was not split the way she was asked to do it. The messed up food was still on the bill. We then asked for the manager to come to the table. 10 minutes later the manager shows up. She explains that she didn't take the food off of the bills because shrimp is too expensive. She said she just took an appetizer off the bills(they split the apps between all tickets even though we specified who had what?‍ also added more marinara than we ordered) Manager didn't apologize until she came out 20 minutes after they went to adjust our bills(the bills we all had to adjust on our own. Not during this fiasco. We had to write what each of us had on the back of our reciepts) There is more to the list of things that went wrong with the service but I'm pretty sure I've said enough already. Not the way I had hoped to spend my sister's birthday dinner. Waitress' name was Layla. Manager's name was Brittany. Our reservation was at 7 this evening we didn't leave there until 930 and not because we were socializing Not impressed at all. Horrible service"
