"Porterhouse has always been our go-to spot for special occasions, a reliable place where we could always count on enjoying a fantastic meal. However, our experience last night fell short of expectations. While the service was outstanding and our waitress was attentive to our dining needs, the food was disappointing. The spinach salad was excellent as usual, but we ordered the smaller sirloin steak and potatoes au gratin, and unfortunately, the steak was lukewarm and tough. The potatoes, too, need a new recipe, as they just weren't good. We did receive a complimentary cake to celebrate a birthday, and it was decent. It's sad to say that we've lost a restaurant we once cherished, where we had many wonderful meals with family and friends."
