"IF YOU HAVE ALLERGIES, BE CAREFUL. My husband has allergies and ordered a hard cider, which the staff assured us was just fermented apple juice. I informed them about his severe allergies, mentioning he couldn’t order anything off the menu. They brought him his drink, and he ended up having an allergic reaction. Unfortunately, we discovered that we were out of his medication, so we had to rush to Walgreens. When we were ready to settle the bill, we found out that the drink he was served was actually a different one—not even something they serve anymore. They did comp the drink, but it was quite a stressful experience overall."

"This is a cool local joint with a bar and delicious diner type food. The small parking lot adjacent to the building has the back half of it taken up by their outside eating area, which is located under a tent. "Conveniently located by the Arena. The place was packed, I didn't know there was a concert so as a foreigner I thought it was crazy busy because the drinks and food were amazing or something. So I patiently looked for a place to sit down. I ended up in the middle of two parties. The place was LOUD. The server was trying to keep up with tune demand. Took forever to be seen, then she brought the menu, took my order and then I waited for about 45 minutes for my food to arrive. I ordered the Gate 25 special, which happened to be a beef cheese melt. I chose sweet potato fries on the side. It was pretty good but quite salty. I also got the cider on tap. Can't remember the name but I liked it. Overall, a decent experience."

"It was a busy Friday night when we arrived, so we had to wait about 15 minutes to be seated, which was fine. Once we were settled and placed our orders, it took nearly 45 minutes for our appetizers to arrive. The main courses took over an hour. I understand it was a Friday, but that still felt a bit long. Our waiter was hard to reach when we needed assistance. On the positive side, the food was quite good. The pizza my husband ordered was fantastic—I even snagged a slice for myself! I had the shrimp with the Perogi Lasagne, which was also very tasty. This was our first visit to the restaurant, and we'll see if the service improves on our next trip. "I would give this restaurant 3.5 stars. I attended a private event and was told it would be held in the back of the rooftop area. Although the rooftop is a nice venue, it could use better lighting as it was quite dark and poorly lit back there. The service was decent, but it seemed like our private party was overlooked as our water glasses were never refilled. Additionally, the system for closing out tabs was down during my visit, so they had to manually take my payment."

"EDIT: I recently returned to this location and realized that my previous review was a bit unfair. While it might not be my favorite sushi spot, they have certainly improved. The staff was friendly without being intrusive. My partner and I had visited Sake Cafe once before, and the service was just okay. This time, we wanted to order sushi for takeout. We called twice, but each time, someone answered only to hang up on us. We could hear restaurant noises in the background before they disconnected the call, which was frustrating."

"Good!. I really enjoy the Sushi and Sashimi at Kogen 's. I 've heard a lot about Tokyo 's across the street, but my schedule and their schedule seem to be out of sync (specifically, lunch on Sunday, for which Tokyo 's is closed and Kogen 's is open). I really enjoy the Sushi Lunch combo at Kogen 's and have gotten it several times. For $10, you have a pick two option from a rather generous list of selections. In addition, the lunch starts with a salad and a small bowl of Miso soup. My personal favorite is to get one of the sushi (rolls) variety and 4 pieces of Sashimi. I am allergic to shellfish, and they 're willing to adjust the contents of the sashimi accordingly. The tuna rolls, salmon rolls, and the spicy alternatives thereof are some of my favorites. Every time I 've been there, the food has been terrific and so has the service. This lunch combo is also a good value, especially when the quality and quantity of food is considered. I 'll definitely be back!"

"I ordered the mushroom pasta and the African peanut soup. Both dishes were seasoned to perfection and featured exquisite, high-quality ingredients. My mother joined me for dinner and chose the tempura shrimp and the spinach salad. She was just as enamored with her meal as I was with mine. Our waitress, a delightful blonde whose name I can't recall, showcased extensive knowledge of the menu and provided service that was truly unmatched in my experience. Our water glasses were always full, and she consistently delivered exceptional service with a smile throughout our meal. As we were leaving, the owner, Ricky, expressed his heartfelt thanks for our visit, which was a lovely touch. I have never encountered such a perfect blend of exceptional service, atmosphere, and food quality throughout all my culinary adventures. Five stars, without a doubt!"
