"My wife and I stopped for lunch with our 3-year-old grandson, and our first impression of the restaurant was that it was impeccably clean. We were craving pizza, and we were delighted to have chosen this place. The service was friendly, and our pizza was served quickly. The crust was excellent, and the toppings were plentiful. What really impressed me was how promptly and graciously the staff changed the TV channel when I pointed out that a documentary on the Mason murders was playing through the speakers. It was a thoughtful gesture, especially for a restaurant catering to young children. If I could give them 6 stars, I would! We will definitely be coming back."

"I highly recommend the delicious sandwiches at Jim's to everyone, including out-of-town and international visitors. After enjoying dessert at Platters, stop by Jim's for fresh fillings and perfect sandwiches every time. The combo meals are unexpectedly delicious, like the chicken dinner with steak. The atmosphere is low-key, allowing for easy conversation without the usual background noise found at many restaurants. Jim's is my go-to spot no matter which side of town I'm on. The food is consistently great at every location, which is not always the case with other restaurants I have tried."

"Disgusting and disgusted. I can believe that when I ordered a 6-in stinger, a finger wrap, and a stuffed pepper, that the wrap and pepper would be unavailable. What I can't believe is that even though I only received the stinger, I wouldn't even get that. I got some dry overcooked beef and mushrooms with a little cheese. No chicken, mayo, medium sauce, blue cheese, the extra cheese I ordered, tomato, or lettuce. Honestly, what the heck? Why would you even think it's a remotely good idea to allow this to leave your restaurant? I had enough after giving two bites a chance."

"It appeared that the restaurant needed extra help on the night I visited. They were incredibly busy and had a backlog of orders, yet they managed to remain calm under pressure. I was truly impressed by how the staff handled demanding customers. I'm fairly patient myself, so while I waited, I observed how one employee managed the crowd. He did an excellent job, and I regret not catching his name. Overall, the customer service was outstanding!"

"We tried Jim's steakout for the first time, and we weren't disappointed. We each had a steak and cheese sub. And the mac and cheese bites to share. The subs were really good. At first I thought they were a bit pricey, but then realized that it was real steak, and a lot of it. The bites tasted like kraft mac n cheese. They were coated and deep fried. Not healthy, obviously, but yummy. The staff was decent, and made our subs to order. They were not overly busy. We will go back some late night again."

"I no longer live in the area, but I always make sure to stop by at least once when I visit to enjoy the amazing subs and experience the nostalgia of eating here. Whether it's after a night out at the bars, as the perfect hangover cure, or just because I'm hungry, this place never disappoints. One thing that I absolutely love and always make sure to order is the Poutines! They are not just your average fries, the flavors are incredible. The Frenchy sub I ordered was packed with delicious ingredients and had amazing aromas. And to top it off, the employees were friendly and welcoming, adding to the overall experience. "I don't usually write reviews, but I had a wonderful experience at this restaurant. The staff were amazing, and one of them even connected with me because we shared the same name. She went out of her way to offer me a carrying tray when I was leaving, which was really kind. She also helped me find the drinks area, which I had trouble locating since it was hidden. Overall, great service and great people. I noticed the owner reads reviews, so I wanted to give a shoutout to the employee with the last name "Taylor"."

"Come on Jim's!!! I'm being generous right now by giving you 3 stars! I love your food and it's been a while since I had it since I now live in California. I'm born and raised in Buffalo and have known the chicken finger sub for as long as I can remember. Tonight's order would have been perfect if not for a footlong piece of female hair in my Jim's Bleu! Luckily I caught it before I took a bite. Now....I could've not finished it and brought the sub back but with kids and dogs in the house and a hungry group I was hungry and so I removed the hair and ate the sub. My wife wanted to call it in and go through all that but I told her that I don't trust that just from past experiences. I've learned that not everyone is trustworthy and if you complain about food at a restaurant.....Yea... Maybe that next serving may have something special waiting for complaining...it sounds nasty but it's real! Anyways, the sub was delicious, hot and fresh. Next time, please hold the hair! Thanks. "Nothing fancy but definitely delicious, it's a bit pricier than I'd hope with some options but overall it's not super expensive, far less so than ETS across the street and in my opinion far better in general. Staff have always been nice and helpful if needed, Food is well above fast food quality and while definitely not healthy food it's extremely delicious. It's also nice that hours go as late as they do. I wish there were more options for those with gluten related allergies and vegetarians but definitely well worth going to if those things don't affect you. Vegetarian options: Not many options but what's there is good"

"Really dope food. We went in around midnight on a Saturday and it was pretty busy. We had our food within about 15 minutes. The fountain soda options are pretty poor. Got the Jim's steak sandwich and really liked it. The 8' is pretty large. Didn't end up eating the fries as it was already a lot of food. There were some pretty sketchy people there at the time. One dude was very drunk and falling over. Recommend getting takeout if eating late night."

"I had the worst experience with the Philly cheesesteak sandwich at this restaurant. It was soggy and the cheese was not melted, so the meat ended up cold when it was added to the roll. The sauce was oily and had excessive seasoning salt, making it too salty. For the price I paid, this was a disappointing waste."
