"I came to the city with a group of 27 hockey players and reached out to the Burgers and Pie team earlier in the week. They were incredibly accommodating, allowing me to send our order via email. When we arrived, everything was ready, labeled, and hot for us to pick up before getting on the bus. The food was amazing! I couldn't have asked for a better experience. A huge thank you to Burgers and Pie for turning what could have been a chaotic situation into an easy and enjoyable one. The portion sizes were massive!"

"I just ordered a mushroom chicken cheese steak platter from Campus pizza.It was one of the worst platters I've ever had from them. It had no mayo or ketchup on the steak as I ordered, barely any chicken on it. IT WAS THIN AF ! My fries were big, thick, Luke warm w/no salt,pepper, or ketchup as I ordered. I use to get the Italian hoagie from there; about 1-2/week for me family, but they started to get skimpy with the meat on that so I stopped ordering it also because it's not the 1st time something like this has happened w/them so I had to let y'all know. But I paid $16. for a platter that's barely worth $8.I ordered from there because it's Halal, it was good 1 point the people are nice.I barely eat pizza, but it seams like that may be the only thing I get from there from now on unless they get skimpy w/that also."

"Honestly, this place doesn't get the attention it deserves. The food is fantastic, the service is solid, and the vibe is quite enjoyable. If I had to point out a downside, I've occasionally found my food to be a bit greasy, but that doesn’t happen often. Also, if you're dining with a large group, make sure to double-check your order before you start eating. No restaurant is perfect, but overall, this place is still great!"

"Do people actually like this place? They have no idea what they are doing!I used Doordash to order them. Let me tell you it is the worst $70 order I have ever ordered. We ordered a chicken sandwich, chicken tenders, a margherita pizza, and a FRESH canoli. The chicken sandwich was just chicken tenders on a bun. The chicken was bland. The sauces for the tenders tasted off. The margherita pizza wasn't even a margherita! It was a cheese pizza with tomato slices slapped on top! And I was not contacted because there was a substitution in my order. I got a bland, FROZEN cheesecake slice instead of the canoli. I was disappointed all around. I will never order again and will be sure to tell my friends and family to steer clear. Disgusting."

"The food is good and people are nice. My only question in this place is that they care more about making a dollar than the health of our children. That sounds hard, but if you load the register area with candy, the exact message you send is. Most pizzerias do not even sell sweets, let alone it directly in the register. You know it makes kids crazy, but why don't you have it if you can make a simple few dollars?! It is extremely frustrating when small businesses do such things."

"My wife and I always enjoy having lunch at Doc's whenever we visit the beach. In fact, I look forward to dining at Doc's just as much as I look forward to going to the beach itself. I recently read that someone is trying to implement charges for all beach parking spaces. We chose to buy in Florida because of the beautiful beaches, and it seems that the money we spend on lunch might end up going toward parking fees instead. Some beach bars really need to fight against this, or else our lunch budget will just be diverted to a parking meter! But I have to say, Doc's is fantastic!"

"Our group has been going to Johnny's for a while now once a month. Always the food was OK (not bad, not great) but we appreciated them accommodating our large group each month. "After indulging in local Cajun cuisine for the past five days, we were in the mood for something different. I opted for a burger called the Blaise with jalapeno hushpuppies on the side, both of which were very tasty. My wife enjoyed the chicken poboy with fried okra, agreeing that both dishes were delicious. The restaurant also had local artwork displayed on the walls, some of which were available for purchase. We learned that some of the pieces were created by Steve's talented daughter. Steve took the time to chat with us, sharing insights and stories while we enjoyed our meal. We were thankful for his hospitality and delicious food. A big thank you to Steve from a Michigan fan and a buckeye nut!"

"Uptown is now under new management and has received some fresh updates to its interior. The food was fantastic, and the portion sizes were perfectly sized. I chose the lunch special and was really happy with my panini. The service was attentive and excellent. Drink prices were reasonable, and they have a nice selection of mid-range and top-shelf options. I have always liked this place, but it now has a more upscale feel while remaining budget-friendly. I will definitely be coming back!"

"The atmosphere is incredibly cozy and welcoming, making it a great spot for dog owners. It's always cool inside during the summer and warm in the winter, thanks to the lovely fireplace. The service is consistently great, and the bartenders and servers treat you like family. The food is mostly homemade and uniquely delicious. Plus, there's a fantastic deck with a view of the river. I can't possibly list all the advantages. You absolutely have to try the fried potato salad—it's delicious!"
