"I heard about this place through a local group on social media and wanted to try it out. My husband and I were out and about yesterday and decided this was the place to go for a bite to eat. I had been hunting a good local business to enjoy and support, as well as finding something new besides our usual go-to places, and this fit. We went in and the customer service was great. Menu is pretty simple and straightforward. We ordered burgers, mine was the basic northwest burger with cheddar. My husband ordered one that was huge with a fried egg on it, and then deep fried mushrooms. The cashier/bartender was really friendly and helpful. The food was good. My only complaint was that my burger came out well done. Although a good well done and not dried out and gross well done. So props to whoever cooked it for not overcooking it until it was dead all over again. But I'm way more of a medium-rare to medium burger kind of person, and so is my husband. It didn't occur to me to ask about this when ordering. Personal preference aside, the food was still really good. I may be developing a small addiction to their fries and deep fried mushrooms. I reached out to the owners in the social media group to ask about requesting a specific doneness in my burger, and see if I could order it either medium-rare or medium, as this is my preference and they said absolutely. Just ask next time and it can totally be done. They responded within an hour of me asking this as well. So while I had a very minor complaint, the owners went out of their way to answer my question and address it so I can enjoy future visits here even more. I'm definitely looking forward to coming back. I'm super glad my husband and I gave this place a try and that the owners took the time to answer my questions. Northwest Burgers is a great local business to support and I'll be returning soon!"
