The owner(Joe) treated us with no dignity and we were expelled from the restaurant stating that our service animal does not have proper documentation and we are interrupting his busy schedule of business. "One of our go-to date nights spot when we are in town. Their grouper piccata and lobster finger appetizer are family favorites. Tonight’s dinner was an exceptional experience. "Excellent food, atmosphere, service. Plenty of TVs to watch the big game as well as local live music in the evenings. My friends and I stopped in for dinner on a Saturday. Immediately seated, served our first round (huge drink menu), ordered an appetizer of raw oysters, and caught the Final Four just before the live music started. For dinner, each of us ordered something different and none of us had a single complaint. Food was hot, delicious, and quick. Murphy's will forever be my go-to locale when I'm in the area."

"The name of this restaurant suggests it’s a high-end, five-star establishment, but the reality is a cozy, family-friendly spot with better-than-average prices and tasty food. The service and staff truly deserve a five-star rating! The Gator Bites were absolutely delicious, and the spread that accompanies the crackers was fantastic—especially when paired with a few drops of Crystal Hot Sauce. My wife loved the chowder and the roasted oyster dinner, while I enjoyed the fried shrimp. Everything was cooked to perfection. Our server, Harley, was exceptionally friendly and welcoming. It's been a part of the community for 29 years, which speaks volumes about its quality. I’ll definitely be coming back!"

"I planned a birthday dinner for my daughter's 15th birthday at this establishment. Called twice to make sure they could accommodate my party size and that the day and time were acceptable. (I called twice because I was told a manager would call, but they didn't so I called back 2 days later). I was assured that date and time were acceptable and that they wouldn't be able to sit all of us at the same table but they would have us in the same section of the restaurant. I was excited because it was going to be my first time at this establishment and I had heard great things. However, I received a phone call less than 48 hrs before my reservation time and was told by the assistant manager that they would not be able to guarantee that my party would be in the same section. So, I took the time to confirm the actual number of attendees (15 20 people) for the dinner and called back to inform them of this in hopes that they could work something out (due to this last minute notification) and was advised that my reservation had been canceled. I was also advised that if we decided to show up they would sit everyone, but we would run the risk of being spread out across the restaurant. I expressed my grievances about the last minute change and the fact that they were not willing to try to make any accommodations. As I stated, this was going to be my first time at Cajun Steamer and to have such a poor experience is extremely disheartening. I don't appreciate being treated as if we weren't going to be paying customers. The fact that my reservation was canceled without my consent and them not trying to provide a reasonable solution for the last minute change shows me that there is a lack of business acumen within their management team. I understand that they have a small space to work with, but their inability to accommodate my party should've been made known upfront not less than 48 hrs before my reservation. To lose a customer before they even have a chance to visit your establishment is truly sad indeed."

"First time dining here and our experience was mixed. To start, we sat indoors but there were quite a few flies that were flying around the entire time. Very annoying and unappetizing.Drinks. Hubby ordered an old fashioned which he enjoyed. I got the sangria which I didn’t finish because it was very watery flavorless.Appetizer: We shared the Fish House style oysters and were pretty disappointed. The oysters toppings tasted incredibly bland. If the oysters were fresh you couldn’t tell. Desperately needed salt or some flavoring. Also we weren’t given any plates to eat the oysters with so we used the one and only napkin provided to each of us.Entree: Hubby had the lobster roll which he loved. He also got the sweet potato fries which were fine, but nothing out of the ordinary and the dip they came with was sickly sweet like a frosting.I got the crab stuffed grouper with mashed potatoes green beans. It wasn’t bad. It wasn’t great. For $26.99 I had hoped for at least pretty good. The hush puppies were dense and flavorless.The saving grace was the key lime pie. Tasted homemade and was delicious and a great balance of tart and sweet.Server was polite sweet but we had to ask her for water for plates to be cleared.Overall not an impressive experience but not terrible. We spent $157 including tip and felt food should have been higher quality. Not expecting a 5 Star experience but definitely needs improvement in seasoning and flavor."

"The food was absolutely amazing! However, the dishes are smaller portions, so if you are wanting a portion to eat and possibly take home that won't happen. I ordered the shrimp linguini and the flavor profile was delicious. My dining partner ordered the ambassador (fried platter of different items) both plates were enjoyable and the pricing is fair compared to other restaurants like this one. The negative was the noise level, it's so loud in the small dining area that you can't enjoy conversations due to not being able to hear anyone sitting across from you. The music could be turned down a bit. Overall a decent dining experience."

"I have dined at MudBugs a few times over the past three years, but this was my first experience trying out their Sunday brunch. I had to wait about 30 minutes for a table for one, so I sat at the bar and ordered a sweet tea. It wasn't your typical southern sweet tea, but maybe that was a good thing to cut back on sugar. I couldn't decide between the N.O.B.S (New Orleans BBQ Shrimp) or the Grammie Breakfast, but opted for the latter since I wasn't sure how spicy the shrimp would be. I was able to swap out the toast for French toast, which was a great choice. The food was delicious, I enjoyed watching the Patriots v. Falcons game, and there was live music from a talented lady with a guitar. The restaurant has plenty of free parking and offers both indoor and outdoor seating options. Overall, a wonderful spot with convenient parking options nearby."

"We have been to Jack Binions many times and always looked forward to returning. We brought two guests with us and had bragged about it only to be disappointed. Started off ordering martini’s that were served in a water glass not even the cute water glasses they serve water in). The dirty margarita looked like swamp water in the oversized water glass. Then we got to watch others order martini one after another. I’m really not a glass snob but it is one thing I enjoy when going out to fine steakhouse. Then they served prime rib when we had ordered the ribeye . Once our ribeye arrived our sides were cold. The steak was undercooked and couldn’t eat it but wasn’t asked about it or even cared at that point. The waiter could care less that our meal sucked. I had to apologize to our guest and bought them food later at the diner. I’m sure I’ll return but would just expect more with the price we pay. Also, the dust level is ridiculous on the ledge by our booth. Wouldn’t even detour purses on it. Again, I’m not a restaurant snob but step up. "We thought for a late lunch a rainy afternoon and were pleasantly surprised that the place was not full of people. We had a party of four, two of which were locals. The weather was not cooperating, so we decided to sit on the separate bar area at the back. Almost as soon as we set up a big table that opened outside and we caught him! We had the most beautiful server and it was punctual with refills and knew the menu very well. We just decided to go with appetizers and everything was great. Crab claws fried and embellished, redfish nuggets all delicious. The curtains were the frisky oysters and the filled mushrooms. Both fabulous!!! We will definitely go back in the near future.
