"I've been driving in Flor's Diner for a couple of years because I've taken my wife and her boyfriend for lunch. It's close to the friend's home and she doesn't have to drive far. The food was great before Covid, but the last 3 times I was there the food I was cot was BAD!. I ordered a hamburger. The patty was shoe leather thin and as hard as a shock puck. Not taste. Forget the rest of the burger. The bungalow was fantastic. Too bad what was in it was not supplied to the disposal. LOL My wife got a Chile Relleno was on the small side and not much taste and where was the cheese. The beans were on the dry side and so was the rice. The Toko's weren't worth the money. I said the last time I was there, I didn't go back. I should have listened to my head instead of the woman. Now for the rest. The music was so loud that I couldn't hear what was said. I could be old, but I have a good hearing. The choice of music would give you a nervous breakdown. I asked twice if it was not. It was turned off a little when I said to hear it for the whole place, but then it went up again. Let's talk about the service. the woman works there all the time and was alone. No big deal. The place was half full, but I could handle it without any problems. I never got any more water and the lady didn't get any refills. The women got cakes and ice cream to split between them and it took 20 minutes to get it. Talk slowly. I know the owners, but they don't remember me. They also own baseline burgers, which was a fantastic place on the day. The best food in the country. Now it is too expensive, dry and in such a bad part of the city I will not go nearby. There are fantastic Mexican places to eat, but not in Redland, Highland, San Bernardino, Loma Linda and Colton. You have to get out of the valley to find any place that has good food. Even the chains here have bad food. I travel all over the country and world. I know good food. They have to close their doors. My burger wasn't a burger. I saw cowpattys that seemed to appreciate more. I'm an old peasant boy."

"The aroma of Jose 's fresh baked breads, croissants and hand-rolled baguettes envelop the no nonsense dining room, caressing like grandmama 's embrace. Here, baking is art. Your eyes devour the pastries long before the pleasure passes your lips. THE BAKER BAKERY CAFE is a terrific brasserie. (I absorbed a petit French vocabulary watching Gene Kelly, Leslie Caron, and Oscar Levant in the MGM musical, An American in Paris. Incidentally, the film was photographed in the early 1950 's, on 44 sets in Culver City, California, about ten miles South, down the 405.)The servers understand that they are serving quality and respect the customer 's subtlety of choice. Chef Adman 's sandwiches are thick and delicious. His interpretation of a classic French omelette is, according to my wife, terrific. His salads, also generous, are fresh and crisp. There are a few vegan items on the menu. The Baker 's coffee, their espresso brew, is magnifique.Your server greats you with an assortment of freshly baked breads and a tray of condiments. My wife enjoys the whipped butter and cheese spread, while I munch on the salted olives, and spread their homemade jelly on the warm whole wheat breads. (Sometimes diets be damné.)My wife ordered the omelette and I the vegan, veggie sandwich and lentil soup combo. The sandwich is available with a choice of a side salad, fries, fresh fruit, or a choice of soups. The bowl of rich, slightly spicy, vegan lentil soup, complemented with cubes of boiled potato, is more than satisfying. My wife 's golden-yellow omelette and crisp bacon arrived steaming warm and delicious. She also ordered her favorite coffee drink: a single shot of decaf espresso, placed into a large cup. Then, non-fat foam is scooped into the cup, to its rim. She enjoys it with a spoon. The large veggie-hummus sandwich, containing avocado, tomato, cucumber, red onion, pickled red peppers, is served on a hummus coated, freshly baked baguette or thick bread slices. I selected raisin/walnut bread. Déleciux!Under Jackie 's ownership, THE BAKER BAKERY CAFE has expanded, adding additional seating. A children 's menu is attached to the regular menu. Outside, tables hug the front window, inside, the dinning area has increased by a third and their kitchen area has doubled. The pleasure of their meals have remained magnifique.A meal at The Baker Restaurant Bakery runs $20 or so. I usually eat only half of their generous serving, and take the rest home.STUFF: A selection of Jose 's still warm breads are displayed. The breads will be sliced to order. There are no booths. Everything is wheelchair accessible, including the gender-neutral bathroom. Parking is free, although limited. Street parking is available. When using street parking, there is an slight incline and a low curb. Vegetarian options: The large, avocado, tomato, cucumber, onion, and pickled pepper sandwich, on a hummus coated, freshly baked bread, is delicious. The lentil soup is also vegan. Parking: Small, tight parking lot. Low curb to sidewalk."
