"Have been to the Urban Stillhouse once a couple of years ago. The menu has changed and not for the better. Pros: Great service, cool ambiance, although the upstairs bar area was reserved for a party and we hoped to have an after dinner drink there. Old Fashioneds were great, we did one smoked and one not, smoked is my preference but both were great. Cons: the chairs in the dining room are oddly shaped and not comfortable. I hit my elbow several times on the metal sides. The gouda app was delicious, but the food fell off badly from there. It seems the menu consisted of too many 'interesting dishes ' and nothing traditional (no filet, no burger, no pasta (except with shrimp which I 'm not a fan of). No salad options with the meals, no breads, etc...choices included Bison, Cod, Lamb, Duck, Scallops, one chicken dish but not traditional and that was pretty much it for the main dishes... these are just not for me. I ordered the Wagyu, it was really gamey, and tasted a bit like Venison or bad meat. Made me feel sick. One of my friends tried who likes more eclectic food and said is was not good. Someone else in our party ordered Cod, it came cold, they brought it back a second time cold. Our servers handled it really well, and I appreciate they 're willingness to try and make it right. We had a nice time despite the food, but for this reason I don 't think I would go back."
