"We're returning to Fort Wayne, but we won't be coming back to this restaurant. We were hoping for a quick beer, but when we asked the bartender, Madelyn, if they served food, she rolled her eyes at us. It was a weekend and after 9 PM, so we would have understood if the kitchen was closed. We quickly ordered a starter and two beers, but when the food arrived, she simply shoved the plate towards me without even acknowledging us and then moved to the other end of the bar. After that, we were completely ignored while she chatted with everyone else at the bar. She only came back when I took out my card to pay, asking if I wanted another beer. We requested the check, paid, and left. Normally, I try to give people the benefit of the doubt, but we felt unwelcome at this bar, and the pretzels weren't good enough to make it worth our while."
