"I went into Marks yesterday and got a super beef. Nothing on it, sauce on the side. I was a chef for about 5 years with 10 years restaurant experience and really nothing could have prepared me for what I watched when they were prepping my beef. Not only did it take over 10 minutes with absolutely no one in the restaurant, and only two tickets hanging but they absolutely smashed my bun onto the grill and made it flat. I then watched him grab the roast beef with no gloves and make it into a hockey puck. Literally formed the roast beef with no gloves on, barehands into a hockey puck. Absolutely disgusting, it takes two seconds to put on a pair of gloves and two seconds to take them off. I was literally so embarrassed for them I just didn’t say anything. I was so grossed out I brought it home and threw it out. Not to mention by the time I got home it was med well. Not going back"

The restaurant was quite dirty and unorganized. The staff were very rude and unhelpful, refusing to address their mistakes. Overall, the customer service was very poor.

Mark's is kind of hidden behind gas station. I have not tried the other more visible places, but I doubt any of them have better fast lunches than Mark's. Subs are great. Eggplant over pasta terrific.
Really like this place but last 2 times I ordered online my food came extremely late, cold, and over cooked. I’m not happy. When I call to ask where is my food. They said it’s on the way and sorry, and arrived cold. View menu

This place is fantastic! The super beef sandwich tastes like a delicious roast beef cake. The BBQ sauce has a nice kick to it. The steak fries are outstanding. As a big guy, I ended up taking half my meal home. It was exactly what I was hoping for!

What was meant to be a three-month hiatus turned into a year and a half, but it was definitely worth the wait. The restaurant has a fresh new look, and the food continues to be outstanding. Welcome back! Your honey mustard is still the best in all of Massachusetts.

The falafel wrap was fantastic! The service was quick as well! The only strange thing was that when I ordered online, I didn’t receive an email confirmation or receipt, which made me a bit anxious after placing my order, but everything turned out fine in the end. The ABSOLUTE BEST Roast Beef sandwich I have ever had in my 55 years of life portions are insane perfect toasted north shore style bun bbq sauce could use a little extra spice but not a real issue Mark is a down to earth owner and oh yea steak tips are off the chain as well it’s a must for roast beef soooooooo worth the Drive you’ll thank me later

The food was good enough, but I ordered delivery to Newton-Wellesley Hospital twice, and both times it was delivered to the opposite entrance than I asked them to deliver it to. The driver would not bring it to the entrance that I said I was at, and when I told him that I would meet him at the entrance he was, he drove to the emergency room and dropped it off there, and had them call me (even further away) to let me know that's where it was. Absolutely unacceptable service, and would not recommend ordering delivery to Newton-Wellesley unless you need to get your exercise for the day in.
