"I recently visited Sweet Basil for the first time and had the four cheese ravioli, which were absolutely delightful. The sauce was truly authentic Italian! Our server was friendly and accommodating. Although they don’t have a children’s menu, they were more than willing to prepare a bowl of spaghetti for our granddaughter when we asked. We didn't have to wait despite being a party of eight on a Thursday night at 7 PM. Most entrees were priced in the $20 to $40 range, and I believe my ravioli was $22. I highly recommend Sweet Basil!"

The ambiance is wonderful, and the prices are quite reasonable. The staff is not only friendly but also professional. The food was outstanding. I had the ribeye steak served with quinoa, roasted cauliflower, and tomato. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Great restaurant. Amazing food combined w good service. Only knock is that they do NOT take reservations so it can be difficult to go there to celebrate a special night. Almost gave 4 because of this but the food is too good.... Lastly, they don't do desert, however by not doing desert guests don't linger as long so I guess it helps them flip tables faster...

Delicious food, great service and a very charming place! My husband and I stopped by there last night on our way home from Dedham. Since it was some time from our previous visit, we forgot about the wine. My hubby went to pick a bottle of prosecco from a nearby wine store. Our pasta dishes were delicious and so big that we have another dinner of them for dinner tonight. View menu

I've been to Sweet Basil several times, and each time I've been thoroughly impressed with the service. The food is incredibly fresh and delicious! My two favorite dishes are the Shrimp Scampi and Shrimp Risotto. The option to bring our own wine is fantastic! They don't take reservations, so you might have to wait a little, but it's definitely worth it. I highly recommend this place!

Rosemary Chicken is to die like the Bolognese, and the Pancetta Risotto. It is so hard not to fill up on her usual pesto and rustic bread, because it is so dared. Also love their shells and I'm not even a seafood fan, but it's just garlic treat. I wish they had reservations, but they took my birthday group of 11 in Stride and the waiting was not too bad. Your family menu for parties of 8 or more is a lot. Attention, love the atmosphere, they play good 80's music, what is not to like?

"Quick to become a favorite gem We’ve dined at The Farmhouse on several occasions, whether date night, couples night, or family night. Each offering has been individually notable as “that-was-worth-it” experiences. Last meal as a celebration to our daughter, we enjoyed an evening outside on the terrace high top- and wasn’t that fun for the kids. We enjoyed good apps, good drinks (cocktails mocktails , great conversations and great mains. Fresh ceviche followed by savory shrimp fettuccine- perfectly cooked (poached? tiger shrimp that melts in your mouth, with a clever saffron poisson sauce- and a surprise option, the tenderly-cooked duck breast with expertly roasted brussel sprouts and sweet potato purée. Voilà, merci! Pricey, though worth the extra coin. More importantly, our kids finished their meals off the kid menu- in fact, a very well cooked cut of salmon and al dente pasta- clean plate club! Thus overall, pleased with the sister restaurant of Buttercup (The Farmhouse is distinctively unique, in our view for hitting all the checks, whether a romantic dinner, engaging couples night out, or building memorable times with the family.
