"This place is centrally located in St. Augustine; the smell of the food is alluring when you're walking by; it was definitely worth a try.However, while the food was tasty (not incredible), the service was close to awful; our server apparently wasn't into taking care of customers. The place was empty and she just took forever for everything, completely impolite and seemed to be annoyed by the simplest request. It took her about 25 minutes to even take our order. Thankfully the food was prepared quickly but the experience could have been much better had we had a better waitress with a friendlier attitude."

"I stopped in for 'devour Indy ' at lunch and although they were out of my first choice. They let me graze beyond the fixed menu> I had the trout which was plentiful in size and well prepared. The Crab Beignets were awesome! And the Crème Brule was quite good. I also enjoyed a glass of wine and some west coast oysters."

"On August 12, 2018 my wife and I went to Detroit Seafood Market and had dinner before seeing Wicked at the Detroit Opera House. My wife had the stuff Salmon and I had the grilled pork chops. We thought that this was one of the best meals we had ever had. So we decided to make reservation for August 28, 2018 for our 25th Wedding Anniversary, well in a two week period it went from one the best meals we have ever had to one of the absolute worst! They were extremely understaffed, it took 10 minutes just to get water and another 15 minutes to receive a drink. Salad and dinner rolls took another 10-15 minutes to receive. We could tell the wait staff was very stressed as one of the male waiters throw things and swore several times on the floor. Our waitress was pleasant, but overwhelmed, same waitress we had on 8/12/18. We order the same meal we had on 8/12, when we received the food, my wife's Salmon was mostly raw and the vegetables and rice were cold, my grilled pork chop was not grilled (no grill marks any where), but had been fried! It was dry and burnt on the meat's surface and like shoe leather and again all the vegetables were cold. We waited another 10 minutes before our waitress came back to check on us and showed her the plates of food, she said she would get manager, which took another 10 minutes before manager showed up. The manager was apologetic and offered to remake meals herself, but it would take another 15-20 minutes. At that time we had had enough and our 25th Wedding Anniversary dinner had already been ruined. We told manager that we just wanted to leave, which we did. Not sure how this restaurant went so Bad, so Quickly!!! Brian Smith"

"I was so very pleased with the lunch that I had at Joe Senser's. The service was great- very efficient and friendly. Food was outstanding. Enjoyed the Walleye Poor Boy sandwich. My date had the chicken sandwich and she was very pleased . Margaritas were very good. The entire process went so well that she agreed to go out with me on a second date. Again, completely satisfied."

"I met an old friend at this place to catch a hockey game. The service was outstanding, and the food was decent. I had chicken wings, which I'd rate a 6 out of 10, and shrimp tacos that were absolutely fantastic, earning a solid 9 out of 10. My friend ordered half a chicken and said it was flavorful but a little dry. They also have a good variety of drinks and beers. It’s a bit pricey for what you get, but I’d definitely return for the excellent service and those incredible tacos!"

"This is the 1st time we’re back dining in since the pandemic start. The restaurant feels cleaner and brighter than before, they set a plexiglass between seats in dining bench area, and the restaurant’s atmosphere also feels refreshed. Our order was: Kid’s Menu: Spiderman! It’s a crabcake with choice of side! The crabcake portion is huge for a kid’s menu and it’s super delicious! We choose greenbeans as side, it’s super soft and tasty. Triple Decker Sandwich! The portion is unbelievably big, and all ingredients are fresh and delicious! We got soup of the day; shrimp bisque, yuuum Have I mention their fries? Their fries very unique, they stay as delicious as fresh even if you warm them up as leftovers the next day. Beef Stroganoff over noodle! By reading the title, it’s already sound delicious! You can taste the freshness of beef stock within noodles with mushrooms sauce, come with choice of salad and soup. We chose salad with thousand island dressing and shrimp bisque soup! Yuuum yuuum The ladies restrooms are somehow super cold due to no heater working, asides from that, the restrooms are clean and spacious! We miss the food already!"

"Had a reservation for 2 at 4 pm on Easter. The gentleman that sat us said that he would take care of us. MIL ordered a tea and I asked for a drink menu. MIL wanted to get a Jamaican Paradise and I got an appletini. We then ordered a Maryland Crab Pretzel for the app, then we ordered the Easter Special Seafood au gratin. I ordered mine with mashed potatoes and coleslaw. MIL ordered hers with broccoli and rice. Waiter did not bring her rice out at first. The food was really bad. Seafood au gratin was baked to long. Scallops in the dish were rubbery. The drinks were WAY to strong. Very unhappy. MIL was not charged for either of her drinks but I do not feel that was enough. Husband doesn't even want to give the Bel Air location another chance. Give me a reason to change his mind and give this location another chance."

"I started with the pork skewers with cheese sauce and then had the sour beef and dumplings for my main course. I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of the food. The table agreed that the beef was delicious. The sour beef and sauce were excellent, although the dumplings could use some improvement. There was something off about the texture and consistency of the dumplings that I couldn't quite pinpoint. I would still order this dish again, but maybe swap out the dumplings for potatoes the next time."

"We had a reservation for the following day but wanted to stop in and get a drink and a snack. We sat inside at the bar. (Last two seats. Very busy but very efficient). We had the pleasure of having Dylan as our bartender/server. He made one of the best Cosmos I have had. He was witty, knowledgeable and very engaged. "I had to write a review based on some of the mixed reviews i have seen here. It was my twins’ 17th bday and we wanted something special and we weren’t disappointed. The food was excellent, our hibachi chef was very good, made sure we had everything we needed and even fixed a little mix up in our order very efficiently. We got served quickly, hardly had to wait any time at all. And the place was pretty busy for 6pm. Our server I could tell was a little inexperienced but she was just fine, sweet and attentive. I’m always happy any more with servers who at least try and she definitely did that. We got everything we needed timely and got refills on our drinks, so she did a great job for us. We will come back and try some of the other menu items next time, as they have a nice sushi selection as well. And prices are very reasonable. I highly recommend!"

"My friend and I were searching for a nice place to dine on a Monday night, and most restaurants were closed—except for Mimmo's. Once we walked in, we noticed we were among the few diners there, as the place was quite empty. Our server was incredibly sweet and attentive. My friend ordered the fettuccine Alfredo with chicken, while I opted for a Margherita pizza with onions. We both agreed that the food was excellent. Unlike most Margherita pizzas, which can be bland, this one was truly outstanding—definitely one of the best I've ever had, and I work in another Italian restaurant! Our lovely server even instinctively brought us some Parmesan cheese. We had a great time chatting about everything and truly enjoyed our evening. Thank you for everything; we look forward to coming back soon!"

"A family owned business, operated with love and care this place is great for a quick bite or a great meal with the family. Our drinks were strong and delicious, we got the old-fashioned and also a Caipirinha! So delicious. We then started with the sautéed chorizo, and the choripapa, both great apps. For dinner we had the arros con pollo, just like how my grandma used to make! And the skirt steak sautéed. Also there is a lounge connected in the back called THE ANNEX. Definitely worth checking out. if you are looking for a fun and chill vibe, either for a night out or after dinner there are some amazing cocktails and tapas located right in the back! I got to try almost all the drinks and my favorite was the black crocodile oh my god so delicious not to mention the glass was fire! For tapas I had the pasta, the pork barrel buns, and the polenta with the Ropa Vieja on top this was my favorite I actually ate the entire thing! All the drinks were incredible the OG is also amazing! Check out the amazing food and atmosphere !"

"I absolutely love the atmosphere here! Our server, Alexa, was fantastic. Every dish we ordered was amazing. The Brussels sprouts were rich, dense, and had the perfect balance of sweet and savory. The salmon was cooked to perfection. Both the French onion and cream of mushroom soups were great! The chicken Marsala was also excellent! We enjoyed the carrot cake for dessert, though they did charge us for it despite it being a birthday celebration. No big deal, though! The drinks are quite a spectacle as well! I loved every cocktail, but we did have a male bartender who initially mixed one of the drinks incorrectly, so I recommend making sure the orders are clear. I can't wait to return for more delicious food and drinks—or just to have that carrot cake again!"
