eating was not as good as they opened first. they must change the chefs and also, I enjoy coming to this restaurant because they had a whole lobster on the menu. now it's gone. sad sad sad sad sad sad

We sat there for over an hour and a half and our food still had not come out. It took a half hour to get our drinks. We left without eating because we would have been late to our concert. Very understaffed- many of the tables left without eating.

When I got there, I was told there was no reservation set for me and my husband. We were able to be seated though. After waiting for my husband to park we ordered. Food was delicious except it took us over an hour to get our food. All in all, its a nice place just took for ever to get my food. View menu

No waiting, nice atmosphere. Great options on menu from super healthy grilled to super tasty fried. I'm picky about some things and the food was served straight from the kitchen freshly prepared and hot. We had shrimp cocktail large shrimp freshly boiled and delicious. Cornflake breaded grouper and bacon wrapped scallops. Both cooked to perfection served hot with delicious side sauce. Nicely done DSM!

The Sunday brunch at the Detroit Seafood Market (DSM) was a hit with me and my wife on August 28th. This was our first time having brunch at DSM and we were not disappointed! It was a perfect way to cap off the weekend of festivities celebrating her birthday. Thanks again! The food and the service were excellent. My only request is to Open Table, PLEASE change the reservation hours to reflect that DSM opens at Noon on Sunday, not 11 am.

that was excellent, I can't say that. the service was terrible. we had to wait personnel for everything we got. we had reservations but were not set until 20 minutes before the reservation. Nobody asks if we like drinks, we had to ask. When I asked about brot, I was told that it wasn't ready. When the brot came, I had to ask for bread plates. the waitress brought us down, not teller. After 45 minutes waiting for our food, I ask when our food comes. she said it shouldn't be more than 20 minutes, but she would check. 5 minutes later a waiter brought our lukewarm food. it is so sad because the taste of eating was good. I came to this restaurant with my family and had a terrible experience! I ordered the fried double-lobster tail and received 1 1/2 lobster tail. After I mentioned this to the waitress, I was asked to give the manager the 1/2 lobster, sean, that he was picked up with his hands and ran out with him. the waitress also asked me to return an additional page of sweetness that was released before the lobster was returned. the waitress tried to go to the table with the fried lobster tail replacement, but the waitress went to the manager to show sean first that the new lobster tail was 1/2 as the first. the waitress tried to give me the 1/2 lobster dick and explained that she wanted to sean to testif...

The food was good and our waitress tried very hard. Some restaurant basics were lacking. My reservation was at 12 noon. I arrive at 5 to 12 and the door was locked. I called and they refused to open the door until exactly 12! I asked about parking told, you can park across the street but you have to pay. There was no valet and no designated parking for the restaurant. We were the only diners in the restaurant for at least an hour. It was pretty empty the entire time that we were there. The wine list was limited. The waitress do not know how to open the bottle. She did not know how to pour it. It was brought out in a clear plastic container, not in an ice bucket as expected. On August 12, 2018 my wife and I went to Detroit Seafood Market and had dinner before seeing Wicked at the Detroit Opera House. My wife had the stuff Salmon and I had the grilled pork chops. We thought that this was one of the best meals we had ever had. So we decided to make reservation for August 28, 2018 for our 25th Wedding Anniversary, well in a two week period it went from one the best meals we have ever had to one of the absolute worst!
