"This was my first time dining here, and I was pleasantly surprised. We tried the saganaki, chevapi, and the Polish dinner. The Polish dinner was fantastic for a bar setting rather than a dedicated Polish restaurant. The portions were generous for the price, and the Polish sausage was cooked to perfection. It looked similar to what you might find elsewhere, but it definitely wasn’t the cheap pierogi you’d expect. The filling was whipped and well-seasoned. My boyfriend tried the golabki and said it was one of the best he’s ever had; both of us have Polish heritage. The potato pancakes were enjoyable too, more like fried cheese and shredded potatoes. My boyfriend raved about the chevapi with no complaints, and he can’t wait to return to try more dishes. One minor thing was that the saganaki could have been served on foil, but since we live nearby, it didn’t affect us much. It was at the perfect temperature when we received our order. We also had the soup of the day, which was broccoli cheddar. It was rich and tasted homemade, with just the right seasoning. I would definitely recommend this place!"

"this evaluation is overdue and very well deserved. we had a celebration of life for my father. I do not live in the city, but wanted a family-run Italian restaurant that my father Sal’s appreciate on harlem, fit into the bill. sal and brigit are passionate owners and are conscientious about the experience they have. eating was divine, each dish carefully prepared by sal. every new cursor that was served was enjoyed by all our guests who all expressed their joy, and in addition, brigit and the entire staff were attentive to the fact that the day went as a success and that we had amazing service. they went beyond and beyond specifically the facility of the room and the staff who work over time to tailor to our unique banquet needs. if they have a decree, certainly as important as someone's memory, they can put their trust in sams on harlem to host their event. I am forever grateful for the first class celebration for my father that he deserves, and at one of the hardest days for me. as someone who has traveled very far in Italy, many thanks to sal, brigit and team for the introduction delicious, authentic Italian taste in the middle west and for the whole care she poured into the creation of an stellar experience."

"the chicken was small and overcooked, the apple came from a snack cup that was taken off with the lid, and my father ended up with a glass water with a huge fly in it. when he referred it to the waiting staff, the only answer was that it was not there when I brought it out; what do you want, because I bring you another water her fried chicken was astonishing earlier, not the case anymore."

"We actually wanted to go to a different restaurant in town at first because of a past bad experience at Nayeli’s. Unfortunately the other place was closed. The only other restaurant nearby was not great either so we decided on Nayeli’s. We should have ordered the pizza to go but the kids wanted to eat inside. Bad mistake. The place was filthy. Tables, benches, floors. We were told to seat ourselves. There were 2 tables left very messy after people left so we walked down to some that seemed picked up. Unfortunately they too were disgusting. I wiped the table down with some napkins. We ordered soft drinks but I ordered water. It did not just taste like city water but chemicals. Bad. The soft drinks tasted that way too. We ordered loaded nachos as an appetizer and a large pizza. The nachos took a while. They weren’t too bad but very little ingredients accept lettuce and the chips were fried and dripping with grease. When we started eating a beeping noise started. Like an alarm clock sound. It went on forever so my son followed the noise. There was an alarm clock in the men’s bathroom. Weird. It was still beeping when we left. The place should not have been so nasty and the food should not have taken so long. There were no other people in the restaurant but us and there were 4 people standing around talking in the kitchen. When the pizza finally came, I had it. I asked the girl to box the pizza to go. Instead of bringing the hot, messy pizza to the kitchen to box it for us, she brought the box to the table. There was barely any room and like I said, the pizza and pan were hot. It was difficult to put in the box where it sat on the stand. At least the employees were nice. When we got the pizza home, it was good but lots of burnt chunks on the bottom from what I suspect is a dirty oven. Needless to say, this place is not worth our business. I do not recommend."

"This was my first visit to the restaurant, and it will definitely be my last. I wouldn't recommend going just an hour before closing, even on a Friday night, because the food we received was terrible. I ordered steak and chicken, both of which were cold. The baked potato was also cold, and I paid extra for the Texas toast, which was also served cold. The service was equally disappointing; the waitress was as unwelcoming as the food. It seems we chose the wrong night to visit, especially since I've seen other reviews praising this place. I can't help but wonder if those reviewers are employees trying to make the restaurant look better than it is. One last thing — we didn't even receive the peanuts!"

"I was driving through Naperville on 75th Street looking for something fresh and healthy, when I saw Elli’s Deli from the street. It was exactly what I was looking for—something fresh, flavorful, and satisfying. The Italian sandwich was amazing, I especially loved the bread! The woman at the register was so friendly, she gave me fries to try and they also were fantastic. I will definitely come back to try other sandwiches."

"Haven't been to Aurelio's in years. Family used to go all the time when I was a kid (the old downtown location). Pizza and appetizer basket was just as good as I remembered. Nothing has changed since the 80s! Had a big group (12) for a family Christmas gathering. Service was awesome! Bill was a bit more than expected (almost $250 with tip), especially since the only alcohol was one pitcher of beer. Regardless, great meal. Service: Dine in"

"Visited while traveling through Booneville as it seemed to be the only restaurant in town that was open for breakfast; on second thought I think it may have been the only restaurant in town. Parking is shared with the gas station next door, and at 9AM we had no trouble finding a spot, although parking does seem to be rather limited. After coming in the front door I asked the person behind the counter if we seated ourselves, to which was answered with a nod. We seated ourselves in the larger of the two dining areas, where to other parties (one group 6 people and a group of 2. We sat there a good 20 minutes and several passes of the counter-clerk/waitress before I decided to go out to the car to get a drink. A few minutes later the waitress appeared and we placed our biscuits gravy and fried bologna order. After placing our breakfast order we waited another 15 minutes, which isn't incredibly long. The food that we received was underwhelming. Brown gravy, typically meant for a roast or a Salisbury steak versus milk or sausage gravy with frozen biscuits that can only be described as undercooked and gummy. The gravy was incredibly salty, like what you would imagine from a packaged mix you would buy in bulk. We didn't finish them, but still asked for a box in the hopes that our German Shepherd would eat what had been paid for, but even he wouldn't eat it. I had hopes for the fried bologna. It's such a simple, filling, and tasty meal, but again we were let down. The bologna was the super thin sandwich slices so there was no substance to it. The toast was done well, but must have sat waiting for the biscuits to thaw, because the sandwich itself was room temperature. The food was bad, but inexpensive, costing less than $20. Aside from the smell of stale smoke the restaurant seemed clean-ish, but apparently hadn't been inspected by the Health Department since December 2021 if the inspection sheet displayed on the corkboard at the entrance is up-to-date. The service was okay, but seemed understaffed for a Saturday morning. Overall, eat before you get to Booneville."

"This place isn’t going to be around too much longer. It’s an old school mom and pop shop but the lady running it is so cheap. The food portions are small the prices are high and the whole time me and my wife are there she’s complaining how she can’t find workers because they require too much money she said she usually hires single moms cuz they are desperate any way the food wasnt great at all especially for the price. Lady was like this is a neighborhood place i lived here all my life and never heard of it before this week, there’s no seating at all and the place hasn’t been updated in ever. Anyway lady seemed ok besides obviously a slave driver employer and cost cutting cheapskate other. I don’t think I’ll come back until it’s under new management"

"My Coworker boasted on this place so I decided to place an order. I was SO DISAPPOINTED, it was the most bland sandwich I've ever had to be a roast beef sandwich. It was suppose to be a hot sandwich and it wasn't even warm. The sandwich had a piece of hair inside the wrapper, that I noticed AFTER having a few bites. I called NOT to ask for my money back or even to replace my sandwich. I simply called to inform the Manager of the situation so they'd be more Careful and all she said when I told her was, OH I said, well an apology would be fine, I'm not asking for anything but I think an apology should be given. Customer Service was not Present this day, Needless to say that I will not be going there Again."

"Me and my wife tried villa nova pizza today and I must say that it was delicious! Best pizza I had in a long time and it’s about a 35 minute drive from my house and well worth it. I was referred to this place by my neighbor and told me it’s one of his all time favorites so today me and the wife took a ride and tried it out. Everything was great the pizza and bosco sticks was amazing, the customer service is unbelievable and got to meet the owner John and he is an outstanding respectful gentleman. 12/10 and definitely will be a returning customer. If you haven’t tried it out yet I encourage you to do so and I am positive you would love it too!!"
