"The service was satisfactory and the food was alright, but we visited about 2 hours after the restaurant opened and the restroom was extremely dirty. It really turned me off and made me question the overall cleanliness of the place. My wife commented on the mildew smell and stained walls. It was a small establishment with only one bathroom, so keeping it clean shouldn't have been a difficult task. When you own a restaurant, cleanliness should be a top priority. I decided against taking a picture of the toilet to spare myself and my wife from that sight. The windowsills had dead flies and other insects as well. I will definitely not be returning here."

"We stopped in this afternoon to celebrate my adult kids birthdays. It was not at peak time, which was perfect. The staff was very attentive and we were seated immediately. We were given the perfect amount of time to peruse the menu. My son had the flat bread steak burger with a side of red beans and rice, I had the seafood risotto, and my daughter had the crawfish cavatappi. Everything came out quickly, and everyone enjoyed really their meals. My son said the burger was the best he’d ever had. They also got birthday desserts of hot beignets and Mississippi mud pie. I took a taste of the pie…it was so smooth and the whipped cream on the side was amazing. I’m sorry I can’t remember the waitress’s name, but she was wonderful. We will definitely be back again!"

"The food was absolutely delicious. We arrived as a party of three and were seated right away. Our server was attentive without being intrusive; he offered helpful suggestions and accommodated a request for a side dish replacement for one of our guests. We ordered the jambalaya, shrimp and grits, country fried steak, boudin balls, and jalapeño cornbread. Everything was fantastic, and we all plan to return!"

"I certainly want to try other things on their menu. The atchafalya was very good. I can't say I agree with using steam rice. Tapes away from the experience for me. It still was very good. Nice portions of fish not just fried batter. I had the shrimpand corn soup. I've had it elsewhere where flavor was great. This place it's good. I wouldn't knock it. It's certainlyflavorful. What I really enjoyed was that it was paired with a nice size hush puppy. Which I'm always out to try hush puppiesbut I was already getting too much and I had a really nice link of boudin before I arrived. So it was really nice trying thehush plus it was really good with the soup. Pasta salad idk what it was but hey I wanted to try it. I mean think I've eaten itbefore. It's good. The red beans however. Come on y'all. Someone put some heart, effort, and season in that. I had hopes they'dbe really great. It's the Bayou Bistro! Unfortunately I was let down with what imo amounted to a can of red beans dumped ontorice. Now y'all know better. The atchafalya had heart, flavor, and was a great example of what the beans should be. Sure it's aside but so is a hush and the pasta. Those were great. Effort counts in all things. I'll be back and it is good food. Just Idon't recommend the red beans or maybe I got the lazy cook. Idk."

"We had dinner here at 6:00 on the first Friday of Lent. Party of six and not very many people at all in the restaurant. We did not get a waiter to our table for thirty minutes. Then four of us ordered water as our drink only two of us received the water until the meal showed up at the table. The appetizers came out the same time as the meal so obviously not ideal and all sorts of things cold and messed up. One person never received the baked potato she ordered with her steak. Two of the three steaks extremely tough. Never had this type of issues before at this restaurant. I assume it was a bad night. Manager came over and got a drink for four of the six of us early on when realized what all was going on. Not necessary but appreciate it. However, when waitress finally came back to table never refreshed anyone’s empty glasses and asked how the food was. We very clearly stated look we are not looking for anything and we realize getting the food prepared isn’t your job. But, you need to let the kitchen know this was really not up to par. Just so whoever’s supposed to be keeping an eye on it will know. Our waitress began crying and it was crazy as we did not direct anything at her personally and we did not want anything for free and we tipped we just where disappointed across the board with food and service then to top it off we left feeling horrible for giving an honest opinion. So subpar food and service we paid and tipped to leave feeling bad on top of it. The waitress said she’d been doing this for twenty-five years. I’m certain we are not the first people she has ever heard be disappointed in something. We did not yell, curse or ask for anything to be paid for by anyone other than us. There was no reason for us to have food and service like that and leave feeling bad. We probably will not be visiting this restaurant again anytime soon."

"A little hidden right off I-35, the restaurant is situated next to a retention pond. There's outdoor seating with fans blowing cool mist in the summer, but we opted for indoor seating, which there was plenty of. There are nice, large windows so you can look down and it's honestly a bit scenic. We ordered the fried seafood basket, jambalaya pasta, and chicken pasta (not sure of its exact name). Everything was good. I had different expectations for the jambalaya but it wasn't bad. They were also very accommodating with a seafood allergy situation that we had, and the workers were nice. The chicken pasta was very good, and the fried seafood could do no wrong."

"galatoires 33 bar and steak can be ordered from the regular Galatoire menu, so we have it. it may take a few minutes, but this is worth waiting. I had the crab yvonne and was loaded with crabs and mushrooms. hide! my man had the crab and avocado salat and portobello mushroom for a starter. excellent choice! was the crab ravigote. so wonderful with hollandaise and béchamel saucen to remember this dish in any case. deconstructed strawberry shortcake was in order, cookies distracted from the plate, as they were not as soft as they should have been. I had simple strawberries with a wonderful whipped cream. excellent! all good as ever."

"The food is mediocre at best. Large menu with mostly off-putting flavors or just bland, particularly the shrimp and gumbo. I’m a food snob and often eat at high end restaurants so I wasn’t expecting much when I saw the place. It failed to even deliver my low expectation. Unsure what the specialty really was, but the place was busy so some folks must like it. The wooden benches were painful seating so that no doubt added to my displeasure. Ordering wine was an ordeal as it became clear quickly the waitress knew nothing about wine and was unsure how to say the names or place an order."

"Unfortunately, The Lost Cajun was not as I expected. We started off with the Gator Bites fried pickles no complaints there. We ordered the Jambalaya,blackened fish stirfry, small seafood boil. (Not the season for crawfish so those aren’t available) the rice had very little flavor but the fish crab were very flavorful so it hardly balanced it out. The seafood boil was cold and because of that the shrimp was hard to peel. We had the beignet and it was delicious!!our server was really nice thats what made me change this review to 4 stars."

"Amazing food and bar place in Lafayette. During my stay in Louisiana Lafayette I had eaten two times out there. My experience was amazing! The food and the drinks were fantastic. This place is somewhat crowded, but still, the server managed to operate properly. We had Duck Empanada (Flaky pastries filled with roasted duck, cheese, onion and creole sauce); Crab Cake (Lump crab cake served with lemon dill aioli); Grilled Mahi-Mahi (Mahi-mahi slightly seasoned then grilled open flame. With tomato jam. Served with Brussels spices) and Cobb Salad (Romaine salad, bacon, egg, tomatoes, avocado and blue cheese crumbs. Served with honey mustard). All dishes were absolutely delicious and well presented."

"I 'm pretty adamant when it comes to customer service. The host was nice and friendly. She sat us down and then a server came out. She did not greet nor smile. We let her know we were new to the place and she at least gave us some time to look over the menu. I just feel the first impression is absolutely the best way thing to do when being a server is to smile and say hello. A very simple gesture goes a long way, just as an unwelcoming gesture can really have an effect on our experience as diners. I believe her name is Ashlie, which was on the receipt. I still gave her positive responses to her service since I am no Karen. I figured maybe she just needed some happy customers. She did well checking up on us and taking plates off the table. I never leave a bad tip so I still tip her good. I think a little personality adjustment would make it better for her as a server in this industry. Food experience: amazing! There were so great options for kids and they all look delicious. Not your typical, bread and hot dogs. We got our baby fried catfish meal and it came out perfect. Good seasoning and she liked it. Next, we ordered mozzarella logs. Those were great! It has a bite of overcooked on high heat oil but was still great. The marinara sauce was on par. The drinks were good! Stout and as it should for the high prices on them. I ordered Ribye Poboy. Delicious and I didn 't find anything wrong with it. Crawfish etouffee was okay, I wouldn 't order it again. I 'm picky when it comes to cajun food but as a sports bar, it 's still alright. It just has more of a tomato sauce taste. I 'm not sure how they make their roux but I would 've loved it with more garlic, grilled bell peppers, and onion tastes to it. The tomato flavor is overpowering. I don 't know if that 's what they use it on there as one of their ingredients but it tastes like that. Fried chips and queso are good. Will I come back again? Likely. The menu has great options and still has many items that I want to try out. I know it 's not the typical cajun restaurant I expected but they 're still good. It 's good to have a different palette for what another establishment offers."

"I finally made it to Razzoo 's!! Was it worth the suspenseful wait...not in my opinion. I am, by no means, a Cajun food conoseuir but I know decent food when I taste it. Removing the appetizer, we walked away paying about $20 per person. When I say we ...I really mean I . My son wanted to go back to this other restaurant in the same plaza but I wanted to try a place we hadn 't been. He ordered the Jambalaya and I had a Tilapia dish. My son hardly touched his food and halfway through mine, I hit nothing but salt. I attempted to eat it but it was just too much. I sit here now nauseous. The serving staff is young but I had no issues. I was greeted at the door by two young individuals holding two separate doors. Enthusiasm is never a flaw. The restaurant was well-lit. The decor, lighting and music volume was at a suitable level to create a calming family ambience. My server was attentive and able to offer opinions about some of the dishes. As always... it 's best to experience it yourself and formulate your own opinion."

"I attended a baby shower this past Saturday at The Bit located in Dobbs Ferry, New York. I loved everything about this restaurant bar. This Gastropub has a bit of everything for everyone. They offer a diverse menu with a variety of comfort foods, lighter fare including vegan and gluten free options as well as more comfort food type dishes. You will find something you love. The bar also offers a variety of specialty cocktails. Their motto: Enjoy a bit of food, a bit of booze and a bit of fun! This place has a very cool vibe which is always the #1 thing I love. Cool bar and restaurant on a cute street in Dobbs Ferry. I love how the place is laid out and the decor is modern, chic and warm all in one. Right when you walk in, you feel at home. I had the opportunity to meet the owner who is the coolest guy. So friendly and always willing to make his customers happy. Thank you Scott. His staff is awesome. Every single one of them was extremely helpful and friendly. I remember making a comment to my sisters about how awesome the staff was for our event. Thank you for being so great and making this event perfect! There is parking in the street and there is a nearby parking lot as well. If you 're looking for a place to chill and have a few drinks or looking for a great place to plan an event, this is the spot."

"Not worth the drive. It was nice decor but very hard to have a conversation in the main dining area. The noise level was loud even though there were empty tables. Service was mediocre. Took 30 mins to get drinks and then never asked if we wanted second round or refills and also she brought check as we are eating and didn't ask if we wanted anything else. The outside area looks nice but the bright white lights deterred us from sitting out there. It was like dining with a spot light so bright you couldn't even really enjoy the dock/boats. Food was pretty tasty (Fresh catch redfish and corn/green bean sides were good). We got a side of cheese grits to try but they were cold. Key lime pie, which we took to go since we clearly were being pressured to leave, was very good."

"Henry’s has been a family favorite for years! I took my boyfriend for the first time yesterday and it was just incredible! We started with the Cajun sampler (with jambalaya, red beans rice, and shrimp and grits) 10/10! We also had the cornbread hush puppies which were delicious. For dinner, I had the Cajun shrimp pasta which is always my go to, and my boyfriend had the shrimp po boy. Our server (Olivia I believe) was very friendly and took great care of us. We love Henry’s and will definitely be returning!!"
