"During my visit, I noticed that half of the menu was unavailable, including items like corned beef, bacon, chicken, and tomatoes. Despite this, we decided to order anyway. My wife requested ranch dressing, as she wanted her sandwich dry, and while the employee was accommodating, they informed us that there would be an extra charge for the dressing. This wouldn’t have been an issue if the sandwich had come with its usual ingredients, but given that it was missing so many components, it felt unreasonable to pay the same price as if it were complete.
Overall, this experience was quite disappointing. McAlister's CORPORATE needs to improve their handling of such situations—at the very least, allow employees some flexibility when the restaurant is missing so many menu items. Generally, McAlister's provides good food, but future customers should be aware of this issue."
