"Unfortunately, on the day I went, their coffee machine was broken, so they had to brew our coffee on the hotel side. It took quite a while for the coffee to arrive, and when it finally did, the taste was disappointing. There were also some significant errors with our food. I ordered the Yucca Frittata, but there was no yucca on my plate. It tasted good, but it resembled a Spanish Tortilla more than a frittata. My friend ordered the 3 Golpes, which was delicious, but the mangú tasted more like guineitos than plátanos. Another friend ordered the French toast, which was soggy in the center and seemed a bit undercooked.
We did order the Bombones de Yuca as an appetizer, and they were fantastic—I highly recommend them! Unfortunately, our waitress forgot to input the order, so we received them at the end of our meal. Given all these issues, our waitress brought over the manager, who was very courteous and offered us dessert on the house. We tried the 5 Leches Dominicana, which was delicious.
Aside from these concerns, the restaurant itself is very charming, clean, and has a pleasant ambiance. I think it’s worth a visit if you’re in Washington Heights."
