"Unfortunately, on the day I went, their coffee machine was broken, so they had to brew our coffee on the hotel side. It took quite a while for the coffee to arrive, and when it finally did, the taste was disappointing. There were also some significant errors with our food. I ordered the Yucca Frittata, but there was no yucca on my plate. It tasted good, but it resembled a Spanish Tortilla more than a frittata. My friend ordered the 3 Golpes, which was delicious, but the mangú tasted more like guineitos than plátanos. Another friend ordered the French toast, which was soggy in the center and seemed a bit undercooked. We did order the Bombones de Yuca as an appetizer, and they were fantastic—I highly recommend them! Unfortunately, our waitress forgot to input the order, so we received them at the end of our meal. Given all these issues, our waitress brought over the manager, who was very courteous and offered us dessert on the house. We tried the 5 Leches Dominicana, which was delicious. Aside from these concerns, the restaurant itself is very charming, clean, and has a pleasant ambiance. I think it’s worth a visit if you’re in Washington Heights."

The food has an unusual twist to it. Traditional Latin cuisine should be honored! The maduros are well-seasoned. View menu

It’s a cute, good size restaurant. The food and drinks are very good. The empanada was soo cheezy and delicious. I had the Seafood Mofongo and a Margarita. 10/10.

I would NOT recommend this restaurant to anyone. I did a reservation for 10 but have to wait almost 1 hour until my table was ready. Food, all main dishes were cold or not with the right items. I can't forget the waiting time for the main dishes was more than 1hour and the restaurant was not even half capacity. My total bill was $926 with horrendous service from start to end.

The music and crowd were too loud for easy conversation. The food was satisfactory but not particularly thrilling, and the portion sizes were decent. The service was acceptable, although not very enthusiastic, except for the manager, who went above and beyond to resolve a mix-up with our group reservation. Additionally, an entrée that was available online turned out to be unavailable for ordering. The cocktails were quite mild. View menu

Food is good. I visited the restaurant while staying at the hotel. After my 3rd visit to the restaurant I was not even being brought napkins and a fork out. They brushed it off as I won’t care about the non existent service, and they’ll get it to me when they can. I felt so upset so one day for breakfast I told them im not having any while sitting outside in the courtyard and instead ordered uber eats. No service. Lady with short black straight hair, the African American girl with long braids and Joseph. And sweetest runner always standing by the kitchen. Those people were an exception.

I have been there many times and up until now it was perfect This time they were a mess they were not ready. Made us wait for a reservation that was late in the day. They are special meal for the night was for courses they delivered them all at the same time The drinks have a certain presentation when I presented the same way they just came without the pouring and presentation in the past The second drink came without the garnishment They closed the bar to 12 on New Year’s Eve They came and brought the check without the dessert They never asked how anything was when I mentioned it to the manager about all the problems there was no offer to make any kind of accommodation I will truck this up...

"We went to Bread N Wine on a early Saturday afternoon for brunch. We were greeted and seated by the servers who were attentive. The food was okay the bread was really soft and fresh. My partner got the French Lentil Soup, Spinach and Tomato Egg Bake andI got the French onion soup, egg omelette with spicy tomato avocado and onions. I wasn 't happy with my omelette because thespicy just meant it was covered in hot sauce within. For beverages, we got chai lattes (we later found out it wasn 't tea basedbut rather coffee) and we had the option of oat milk, almond milk or regular milk. In terms of our overall experience we feltby the end too many things were steering the experience south; the worst was when we were accused of using counterfeit money topay for the tip. There was no special marker used to prove that the money was counterfeit or technology to back up this claim. That experience alone left a bad taste in our mouth as we left embarrassed by that claim, kind of shook from that, we stilladded the tip to our credit card 18%. As we walked out and talked about how weird that was, the owner of the business nextdoor overheard us and asked to see the $20 bill he showed us that our money was real and validated what we knew, that themoney wasn 't counterfeit. When we went back into Bread N Wine to discuss this there was no apology, just well, it felt thatway , shrug. It left a terrible feeling. We would not go back after that, this is not how you treat customers from start tofinish, hence the 2 star review."
