"we ate here before we took part in a ny red bulls football game. there were 5 of us and we sat outside. it was quite hot and windy where we sat, although there were sunshades. the restaurant is located directly on a busy street, so they want to have a nice conversation in the inside. the service was very fast; we got almost no chance to take a swallow of our drinks and the pizza arrived. perhaps they tried to have a quick conversion before playtime."

"Last night, I had an amazing pizza at this restaurant. The crust was delicious, the sauce was tasty, and the toppings were of great quality. The pepperoni and sausage were authentic and not cheaply bought. My husband had the fried haddock with mashed potatoes, and the piece of fish he received was huge and tasty. Even the kids pizza was well-loved by our youngest. Our oldest tried the manicotti and found it unlike anything we had before. The desserts were also exceptional. The prices were worth it, especially compared to Olive Garden. The staff was friendly and attentive, always ensuring our drinks were full. The restaurant had a great atmosphere with happy customers. We can't wait to come back again."

"Upon entering I explained they wanted to sit down. Was told to go to the back of the restaurant and wait for the waitress . Then after the waitress came to me I said I wanted to order from the deli. Apparently I wouldn?t be able to sit down unless it was by the windows. I found this rather confusing. No big deal . I ordered from the deli a half sandwich chicken salad and a chicken noodle soup a water. After standing for quite some time apparently my food was ready but nobody acknowledged that as it was put off to the side in a paper bag. The total came to $19.98. Now I should add that they gave me a bottled water which was not what I was expecting. I can only hope that the bottle water was part of that $20 charge.Still It seems rather overpriced even for Long Island. The sandwich was quite tasty but the soup was very lackluster. The soup was literally broth and noodles and nothing else. Anyways my overall impression of the experience I think warrants a two star rating, nothing better. Next time I?m in the area I?ll just go to the grocery store."

"This restaurant is a nice place, but unfortunately, I can only give it one star due to the lack of customer service etiquette among the staff. I have experienced rudeness from the lady behind the counter multiple times, and she has even accused me of not placing my order correctly. When I tried to address the issue with her coworker, he argued with me and refused to remake a simple bagel with cream cheese, claiming that toasting it would not make a difference, despite it clearly not being toasted. The quality of the bagels is also subpar, as they are dry and hard. I do not recommend this restaurant."

"I like Westville ...always delicious food. However, this was my first and last visit to the compact Ave. A location. Have eaten at Westville many times but at Chelsea location only. Was in E. Village yesterday and so it was convenient to give this location a try. I was expecting same standard as Chelsea; only a few tables were occupied and so I figured we 'd be served pretty fast. Not so. We waited 45 minutes for our food. Evidently the place was overwhelmed with takeout orders several hundred ? we overheard and the dining room was literally packed not with fellow diners but with hungry takeout customers just standing about and impatiently waiting for their orders 'to go '. People surrounded our table just inches away, hovering about. It was really uncomfortable for us sitting at a table, to have these people lined up all around and glowering over us. Westville staff made no attempt to control the situation or shoo anyone outside, which is what they should have done. Two stars because our food was still good. However, service was non existent and the atmosphere just awful. Westville food and ambience should be great so just avoid this one and head to the other locations where they seem to know better what they 're doing."

"I used this restaurant for my daughter's party last Sunday. My wife placed an order for a hero and an olive tray. I went to pick up the order at 12:30, but it wasn't ready until 12:45. They told me it would be ready in 5 minutes, but when I received the order, they only gave me two trays of hero and a bag, leaving out the olive tray. When my wife called to inquire about the missing item, they gave her attitude and said that Steve would call her back. When I called, they informed me that Steve wouldn't be in that day. I have been playing phone tag with them to get my money back, and it's been frustrating. As a volunteer for Mastic, I'm disappointed in their service and will recommend finding a new place for our meetings. I do not recommend this restaurant to anyone, as the owner does not try to make things right and just plays phone tag. Such a simple issue should have been resolved easily."

"This is one of my favorite dining spots. Ignore the negative reviews! As soon as you step inside, the wonderful aroma of the food hits you. I have been visiting this restaurant for around five years, and it's only a 15-minute drive from my house, which is definitely worth it! I find myself coming here about 2 to 4 times a week—I just can't resist! Everything is incredible, from their Sancocho to the pernil and carne guisada. It's all absolutely delicious!"

"Upon entering, I saw a sign instructing me to speak with someone about dining inside or outside. A girl behind the counter gave me a dry response and suggested I speak with her manager, who seemed uninterested and simply said it would be a 10-15 minute wait for a table outside. However, there was no further direction given on where to wait or who would show us to our table. As someone who has worked in the service industry for over 5 years, I understand slow nights, but we came to spend money and were treated like an inconvenience. I will not be returning to this restaurant, not even for takeout."
