"First time visitor, had the pizza by the slice, gooey cheese had good flavors, perfect amount of sauce which stayed hot down to the last bite, crust was nice and crunchy. For a quick bite with bar atmosphere, can get a bit loud, it's spot on for indulging in good ol Chicago style pizza."

My longest, almost 80 minutes! Next few times, I ordered during off hours (3:30, 8:00) expecting a much shorter wait.Still took about an hour.Bottom line, if you 're ordering for delivery, place your order an hour before you want to eat.4/5"

"Updated review 12/11/23: I am unsure if the restaurant name has changed or if it is still under the same ownership, but the quality of the food has definitely changed. My son typically orders the tacos or quesadillas, which are still very good. I will be placing an order through a food delivery app to test if the quality remains consistent across the menu and will provide another update here! Previous 1-star review from 3 years ago: I have ordered from this restaurant before and the food was good. However, my recent order through a delivery service was a disappointment. The wings and fries were cold and burnt, and the order was incorrect. I was extremely disappointed with this experience."

"I don’t know what these folks are raving about…I’m also guessing they ordered delivery, cuz if you saw the rat hole with no clean surface in sight, including the owner(every time hands are covered in crud, while he takes money, answer phone, etc) I’ve eaten at not so clean places, and not thought twice, but seeing his operation and actions, and location, I would never consider eating anything from this guy. I’m a dash driver so I’ve been in several times, 3 out 4 he doesn’t even have the persons order. Plus he advertises multiple restaurants online as if they’re different places but it’s all him. Not even sure if he has proper refrigeration. He uses actual ingredients, albeit probably not washed and contaminated.I’ve been in the biz 20+years and had my own restaurant, and it’s not easy. I hate to leave bad reviews but this place and guy are gross and they’re going to get people sick, and I highly doubt he has ANY insurance. I’m not saying this out of spite or malice, I wish the guy well, but this place should be condemned, I have no clue how it isn’t.."

"Just had to share my good experience! Stopped inside today for the first time in a while to place a pickup order. New decor and atmosphere is gorgeous and comfy, the hostess up front was friendly and helpful. I placed my order and sat down in their cozyfireplace area. The hostess came back and told me it?d be a wait since they?d just had a large order, and offered me some waterwhile I waited. I didn?t mind at all but I appreciated her giving me a heads up and checking in on me while I was there eventhough I wasn?t dining in. While I waited I listened to all the other staff being just as friendly and accommodating and evenheard some customer compliments when they left the tables well deserved! To top off a nice experience at the new and improvedrestaurant, I brought home delicious food! Pizza is awesome, reminds me of Jersey style pies. I?ll have to make it a habit tocome back in here!"

"The beautiful veggie bowls my friends had smelled so good, so I can 't rate *too* low, but I was here for a smoothie. I hate bananas, so I asked for bananas to be left out of my mango lassi. I was charged $9 instead of the $8 listed on the menu. Then, when I took a sip, my smoothie had a very dominant, unmistakable banana flavor. Taste this, I asked my friends. What fruits would you guess are in here? I 'd say banana is definitely the strongest flavor, my friend responded. So I took the smoothie back to the register. When I explained the problem, they told me I was wrong, and refused to make it right. I decided not to try for a refund, and instead to laugh it off and give my smoothie to my friend. They really like bananas, so to them it was tasty! Maybe you 'll enjoy eating here, but if you don 't, there 's not much you can do about it."

But, when I came to try their pizza for the 1st and only time, I find that their phone line kept giving me the busy signal and when I got there there’s a sign they permanently closed due to “no staff” (prematurely). You could’ve put a recoding on your voicemail saying so instead of making people drive all the way here to find out. So goodbye and good riddance #ByeFelicia."

"I am leaving a review on this restaurant because on a day where the restaurant closed at 3pm and they share a parking lot with other businesses, at 230 when I parked I was confronted by what I presume is the manager or owner of the restaurant being told I was not allowed to park where I was. Absolutely ridiculous and a sad excuse of a business."

"I ordered two pizzas, but when I got home, the order was incorrect. I had a hungry family visiting, and I wanted to make them aware of the mistake, not to get anything for free. They asked me to return the pizza for a replacement, but at 10:00 PM, I wasn't going back out. The young lady I spoke with was rude and hung up on me. Customer service and politeness are essential, and it's disappointing to see a business overlook that. I didn't lie about anything. Some businesses may assume the worst about customers, but I simply wanted to address their poor service. When I tried to explain my situation, all I received in return was rudeness. An apology costs nothing. If you're running a business, you need to know how to connect with people. I spent my money there to support them, and it’s incredibly frustrating to be treated so poorly. It’s truly disheartening."

"I'm irritated that I ordered shrimp scampi that was around $20+ and made it home and there was only unseasoned spaghetti noodles. I immediately called (just 15 mins before they closed) this location and the guy who answered the phone said he saw the rest of my order still there and was sorry he forgot to put it in my bag. He told me that he would credit my phone number for the food I purchased for a future order. I waited about a month or so later to order with them again. Explained to the same mgr that was there the night of my original order, my expectations of a $20+ credit. She tells me she can only credit me $8 because I received the unseasoned spaghetti. Ma'am the most expensive part of my meal was missing. This is backward. THE SHRIMP SCAMPI!! She refused to give me the credit. Needless to say I left with nothing at all...not even the $8 because they wanted to force me to spend it in more food. With this service or lack there of, I didn't want their food and they will NEVER see another dime of mine. If I could them 0 stars, I would. "This Family owned Restaurant has been around since 1963. We always go there for the Fried Chicken and mashed potatoes w/ gravy. Wishbone is extremely consistent and amazing every time! Lots of seating, almost never have to wait! Staff is always sweet and attentive! Every table has honey if you like that with your Fried chicken, we do!! "I posted a picture of my order. Clearly it says Extra Crispy Bacon. I even wondered if they would burn it. No such luck. If you can tell the bacon is wobbly, I hate wobbly bacon. Than while we we're waiting for our order. I got up and asked for my coffee while we wait. It seemed to have bothered the female employees. It took 4 minutes to pour a cup of coffee. When they gave it to me I put the sugar and a bit of creamer, the coffee was literally Luke warm. I sent it back and they said that I would have to wait 5 minutes I said no problem. 3 minutes after this one of the girls went and made a new pot (I was watching). So they basically gave me the last cup that was in the pot already off. Also may I add that we had to ask for all condiments etc.. we needed to ask for Ketchup, salsa, sugar and creamer for my coffee. By the way the girls actually asked for the cold coffee back. Unbelievable! Most of those girls were quite rude with faces of annoyance and whispers. The only one who's name I wish I had paid attention to was the gal who took the order that day. You may ask why I didn't return the burrito. I'll tell you why, my husband is a gruff type of guy who demands respect. So if I would have said something he would have caused a scene and I would have been mortified. A burrito is just not worth it. The Manager/Owner was really nice, I should have spoken to him about it. But like I said not worth it. We just know we will not return to Norm's Burgers on Whittier/Oceanview in Whittier."

"I have been a loyal customer of this restaurant since the 90s. The service used to be consistently good, but my most recent order through Grubhub was disappointing. I did not receive the plastic silverware, extra bread, or Italian dressing that I had requested. They also no longer provide parmesan cheese or cracked red pepper with meals. I would be willing to pay extra for these items if they were on the menu. Not receiving them really affected my dining experience."
"Sad experience and I was embarassed after promising food to someone without any and not receiving my order because of Door Dash and nott knowing Door Dash did this up front when I called Spring Grove! Never had any complaints on their food but last night I called Genovas in Spring Grove directly, ordered 2 pizzas for coworks. When I called Genovas wondering where the food, they explained there's nothing they can do about it and I will have to deal with door dash. I'm frustrated beyond belief because my doordash driver can't speak or type in english and he is randomly texting me pictures of houses as well as calling me even though he can't commuicate with me. House pictures when this was an order to a place of business over 1 million square feet! OMG. Whoever I spoke to on the phone at Genovas laughed as I was explaining so I did not appreciate that. I don't simply blame door dash, I blame the business that uses them knowing this nonsense and then the woman laughing was not appreciated either. Great customer service...NOT. Brothers Pizza is closer so I have another option for myself and coworkers in the future. I would have just picked up the food by car had I known it was door dash. So many others have had the same problem so this business knows about the issue and doesn't care. That's the message you send when you countinue to do this to your customers."
