"For my first visit, I arrived well after the time my order was supposed to be ready, only to be told it would be another 10 to 15 minutes. I was fine with waiting, but this was just the beginning of my troubles. On my second order, I placed it online and somehow they completely messed it up. I had ordered a hot chicken pizza with extra sauce and pickles, but when I got home, I discovered that half the pizza had chicken and the other half had pickles. I honestly don't understand how they could get it so wrong. For my third order, I again chose to order online without making any changes, opting for a simple hot chicken pizza. I pulled up to the drive-thru five minutes after the promised time and ended up waiting over 10 minutes at the window with no one attending to me. Unfortunately, I couldn't back out because there was a car behind me. When someone finally came to the window and I mentioned that I had been waiting for so long, I was met with nothing but attitude. They complained about being busy in the lobby with other customers. However, I received no attention at the drive-thru; I simply sat there at an empty window. If they were indeed busy, someone could have at least come over to say that it would be just a few more minutes. Regardless of how busy they were, the main issue was the attitude I received when I expressed my frustration. A simple apology acknowledging the delay would have sufficed, but instead, I was met with extreme attitude."

"I ordered lunch the other day, specifically a whole medium pizza so I could enjoy the leftovers throughout the week. At home, my husband tends to finish off my leftovers before I even get a chance to eat them. Does he care? Not at all, lol. I decided to wait until 1 PM to avoid the lunch rush and then headed out to pick up my order and stretch my legs a bit. The staff inside were incredibly friendly and helpful. I also added a side salad to my order. Once I got back to my office, the thrill of being able to dig into an entire pizza all by myself was delightful. Even though I only managed to eat four small slices, I didn’t have to share a single bite, and sometimes that's exactly what you need."

"Best pizza I have had in a long time if not ever. Toppings are incredibly fresh, pizza not overcooked so toppings stayed fresh, sauce flavorful without being overpowering, and crust was Goldilocks just right. I got the vegetable pizza with sausage and pepperoni added and could not have been happier. My local Stow contact had the Calzone and loved it, and said his departed 90 year old mother said this was the best Pizza in the county. Visiting from out of town wish I had a Donotas where I live."

"I review tons of pizza joints and Donato's can make a very good pie. I had the Founders Favorite and it was really good. Banana peppers provided the perfect amount of kick. The pepperoni was great, but the sausage was just ok. Sauce crust were good, no complaints there at all. I ordered right after an annoying lady complained, but the very friendly lady working the counter bounced right back after dealing with the obnoxious customer and was just really nice. The order was ready nice and quick, which was great after travelling all day. I also got the cinnamon bread, which was delightfully sweet. Definitely not good for my waistline, but it was yummy and I recommend it! Keep up the good work Donato's, I'll be back next time I'm in town!"

"The restaurant was surprisingly empty, which may not be indicative of its quality, but I believe a good restaurant should have customers. We ordered a medium pizza, two entrée salads, and two 22oz drinks, which came to about $35—not too bad for dining in. I really enjoyed the pizza, and the salads were decent as well. They were your typical salads, though, with at least a third of each bowl filled with inedible core pieces of lettuce (the tough parts). Overall, considering the price and the pizza, I would definitely order the pizza again. I might pass on the salads next time, but it's common for many places to include those inedible bits, so it’s not a big surprise. On the plus side, you do get to choose your own salad dressing, which is a nice touch!"

"Between 15 minutes at the front counter without anyone walking up to ask if I was picking up to another 10 minutes at the drive through window before anyone coming to the window to pull the order, I finally received my half warm pizzas 35 minutes after their pickup time. Judging by the reactions of several other people doing pickups and getting a passive ok response when commenting about the neglected wait, this was either the c-squad or an I don 't care attitude. I regret leaving a tip when putting in the order, it was not deserved and I 'll have pause on including tips in the future."

"WORST experience I have EVER had with any delivery. Ordered Donatoes PizzaWas told they were a little busy and that's fine. Something about an hour delivery. Well...3 hours later we get our food. We tried calling door dash and kept getting hung up on. Then tried Donatoes and got no answer.We were told door dash came three times before the time the food was supposed to be done and when It wasn't left. After many phone calls and after being hung up on many times over 2.5 hours later we get our food...good right? No. They forgot half our order so we had to get a neighbor to take us up there to get the rest our food. This is by far the worst experience I have ever had...and that's not Donatoes that's door dash...the way they put it. I want some kind of gift card or reimbursement. If I don't and many in the neighborhood will simply go to Bella's or somewhere else. This was 50 plus dollars that was spent so I think we deserve something from this horrible experience. I gave a tip to the driver because I highly doubt it was their fault and as a former driver myself I had to but I will not go through this again without a reassurance it won't. I want a refund or a gift card and I don't even care if it is at least 30 dollars or something. If we don't get this i will make sure that we don't order anywhere that door dash deals with.On the flip side. I want to give a review Donatos and that's a 4. The staff is nice and before door dash entered we never have a problem. I have 4 kids and 4 adults here and we were starving. Please make this right. Thank youMight sound crazy but seen Undercover Boss and I GUARANTEE you she wouldn't have tolerated that. If there was a way to reach her I would."

"I rarely give bad reviews but needed to share this experience. My friend and I ordered pizza from Donatos tonight. It took more than 1 hour for the pizza to leave the store. We then waited for another hour and still hadn’t received the pizza. When we called, they told us the pizza had been delivered but we never received any sort of notification despite signing up for the text and email notifications. Additionally, we had asked to be notified upon delivery. I live in a large apartment complex and we explicitly left instructions for the driver to call upon arrival as you cannot get into my building without a pass and because we obviously didn’t want the pizza left outside at a large apartment complex, in the freezing cold, with 0 notification. We went outside to search for the pizza and never could find it. So, after a 2 hour wait time, we still hadn’t received the pizza and were never notified about the alleged delivery. I hadn’t ever had Donatos pizza before and still haven’t since we didn’t receive it. Will not use in the future."

"The food is good at Pizza Cottage, and they sometimes offer a 10% discount for seniors. However, during my last two pickups, I requested the senior discount over the phone, but the staff at the counter processed my order without applying the discount. I decided to fill out their brief survey to address this issue. As a result, Pizza Cottage sent me a 10% coupon. Since I already receive a 10% discount as a senior, this coupon doesn’t add any value for me. Ideally, I should be receiving a 30% coupon for my next order to make it worthwhile."

"I was less than impressed with my recent visit. As a K-8 school cafeteria manager, I sometimes use Donatos to treat the kids, and I've always had a good experience with the pizza from this location. I placed an order online for pickup while heading home from Grove City. I ordered around 2:00 PM and selected a pickup time of 6:00 PM. However, I finished my work earlier than expected and arrived at the store about ten minutes before 6:00. I assumed I'd have to wait for my order, but to my surprise, it was ready when I got there. Unfortunately, when I got home less than five minutes later, I was disappointed to find that the pizza was only lukewarm and not hot. If I return to this location, I won’t order so far in advance again. I'm not sure what went wrong, but my confidence in their online ordering system has definitely diminished."

"The service was polite, friendly, and timely (we ordered for takeout). The cauliflower crust is a genius idea that surpasses the regular thin crust in my opinion. I wish it came in larger sizes. "I ordered delivery over the phone. The order was wrong! They brought the wrong salad, they did not bring the 2 Pieter bottle of Pepsi and the delivery man took the receipt when I told him it was missing a 2 lieter bottle of coke. So I called the restaurant and spoke to Mathew who said he was the general manager. I wanted him to remove the coke , the salad , and refund the $5.00 tip I put on on my charge. Mathew became mad and started to argue with me. I questioned whether he was even a manager because of how he was acting. He hung up on me 3 times. He did nothing to make up for his mistakes. I will never order from this hothead again. How can Donatos have a nasty man like that working as a manager?"
