"Greek Cod was the name of the dish on the Specials list and it was a simple compilation of grilled red and green peppers, onions with a side of sliced grape tomatoes and slice black olives topped with feta cheese beside two grilled cod fillets in a light lemon/garlic sauce. It was wonderful! You just don't expect this type of fare from a restaurant masquerading as a pizzeria!! Our server, Kim, was attentive and efficient as always!!!"

"My friend and I decided to try it out as we heard they recently opened. “Unique” would be a good word to describe the vibe. The decor is a mix of ethnic and modern accents. I immediately noticed the elephant with its trunk up and facing the door. Hopefully it’s bringing the establishment much good fortune!The coffee was good, but not the main attraction. Not surprisingly, the menu is extremely healthy. We split the Fresh Start Omelette (Organic eggs, tomatoes, portabella mushrooms, monterrey jack cheese, red onion, bell pepper, spinach). It was healthy without compromising the taste. My favorite was the multigrain pita bread that came on the side. It was warmed, really soft, and really yummy! Leave it to me to like the carbs. Lol. When I go back, whatever I order, the pita bread has got to be included.Overall, it’s a great option in a great town to grab a healthy bite to eat. Try it out and let me know if you like it."

"Finding a truly "legitimate" health restaurant in the Middlesex district can be a challenge. I had expected this place to be just another one that claims to be healthy but isn't. However, I was pleasantly surprised by their extensive menu, which features a variety of vegetables and other nutritious ingredients like avocado. Everything I've ordered here has been well-balanced and fresh. They use spinach and arugula for their salads instead of the usual iceberg lettuce that most grocery stores offer. Additionally, they provide paleo-friendly options and can prepare almost anything gluten-free or with vegan cheese. The service is excellent, and I find their prices and portion sizes to be very reasonable. Overall, Healthy Garden is a fantastic choice for anyone looking for budget-friendly, health-conscious options, whether you’re gluten-free, lactose intolerant, paleo, vegan, or just trying to eat healthier. "After spending a full afternoon shopping nearby, this restaurant is always a good place to stop when time is short and everyone is hungry. The owners have done a great job updating the tired and worn look of the restaurant. The menus were laminated so staff could easily clean them between customers. The pancakes were tender, but there were no flavored syrups on the table. It would be helpful to have more light after dark to see the building and turn in from Virginia Ave. The staff are always smiling, friendly, and accommodating."

"June 30, 2024: An authentic little taste of Europe here in Reno. I had the curried chicken salad on a croissant with a side of potato salad. Both were excellent and I appreciate the cookie that was added. The menu boasts quite a selection of breakfast and lunch options. I'm looking forward to coming back and trying several other things. July 5, 2024: Today I tried the Weinerschnitzel. It is made with chicken here instead of veal. It is dry and paper thin see picture. It is served with mixed vegetables (broccoli, zucchini, and carrots), with a choice of potatoes or spaetzle. I ordered the spaetzle picture below. My only other experience with spaetzle was in Switzerland where it was awesome. It's just ok here. Go with something else..."

"Exquisitely FRESH croissants made all the difference!!! These croissants were baked TODAY; not last week or yesterday a?la coffee places. The sandwich came with a well toasted split croissant filled with chopped Andoville sausage, overlaid with Swiss cheese, caramelized onions and garlic if you like, omit the garlic. The sandwich was wonderful; but there were no napkins to wipe away the oil from the meat and melted cheese under the sandwich. The fries were wonderful 3/16? square cut and PERFECTLY cooked. Remarkably the 3/16? cut made it easier to use my fingers to eat the fries one at a time; I found myself slowing down and enjoying the total experience? but there were no napkins. Finally because the sandwich and fries were such a delight, I ordered for dessert a Raspberry Almond Croissant. It was deliciously tasty with another FRESH croissant?. Oh the really fresh croissants are a joy ? but there were NO NAPKINS provided. Thus, an easily 5 Star encounter is missing one. (Please click ??. Thank you."

"The spinach omelet that came had nearly a quarter cup of free grease/oil oozing from it and had to be rejected. This was probably due to the lack of cooks that lead to nearly an hour long wait despite there being 50% open seats. It appeares that they had a waitress for every seat, meaning that there was an over abundance of wait staff for the number of people seated. The waitress serving us that morning still seemed to make us feel as though we were a bother to her and that we should get our own food. Which I did. Our table didn't have a full complimentary set of syrup until we asked. My water wouldn't have been refilled unless I had asked. Overall it was a not a good experience and I feel I didn't come in with high expectations."

"After many many chances of trying to have a DECENT experience eating here… they just cannot seem to do anything right. Employees don’t even seem to be in uniform, never seems to be remotely cleaned. (Tables filthy, chairs etc) and do not trust their eggs or anything from there. I don’t know who hires these employees but this place should be out of business. "At first before receiving my food, I had given 5 stars (but since picking up my food, I have changed my rating to 2 stars) After arriving to pick up my meal for curb side, had to wait an additional 20 min pass the exped time of pick up. Then after getting home the food did not look well prepared, and was cold. Then when calling to register this concern the person who answered the call, did not identify the business, but just said yes. I have been going to this location since they opened and have never received food that looked like what mines did, nor when calling, was the person unprofessional. I enjoy this location, and hope they get it together."

"First impression: Last time I was here, it was probably about 10 years ago, and it was absolutely amazing. The customer service was on point, and the ambiance was exactly what I expected. It felt cozy. The food was absolutely incredible. I had at that time strawberries with some peach on a crêpe, and it was awesome. My son had a savory ham and cheese crêpe, and it tasted great. This time around, I came with my daughter and my sister-in-law. We had Nutella crêpes with strawberry and also one with strawberry and banana, and they tasted amazing. However, I have to add that the customer service was not top-notch as it was before. Very negative at the beginning, first impressions. I would’ve left with the greeting that we received; the tone we were greeted in was not pleasant, and we were shooed away outside. Second impression, the same. My sister-in-law had a wobbly table, and her drink fell. I went inside to get paper towels, and when I told them about the incident, their response was less than satisfactory. Their remark, Oh, you made a mess? came across as dismissive and unprofessional. I answered, Well, yes, on your wobbly table. If it wasn 't for my daughter needing or wanting food, we would have left. In addition, the waiter behind the counter seemed very angry and didn 't seem to like what they were doing. It made us feel as though our presence and satisfaction weren 't important to them. We felt uncomfortable and unwelcome. On a positive note, our food waiter was very nice and attentive. He greeted us nicely and provided great service. If it weren 't for the unpleasant experience with the others, we would have had a great time. However, considering the overall experience, I won 't be returning to Crepes on Columbus. It 's a shame because the crêpes themselves were exceptional in taste and quality. But the combination of the unwelcoming attitude, dismissive response to the spill, and the lack of attention from certain staff members has left a lasting negative impression. I sincerely hope that the management takes these concerns seriously and works on improving the customer service aspect to match the outstanding food they serve."

"We ordered this food online. Unfortunately with IHOP, they always leave something important out when ordering takeout. We ordered strawberry banana French toast and grits. The bananas for our toast were left out so he had to drive back to get the bananas and some strawberry syrup. We’ve recently reduced our orders to IHOP for this reason. The portion size on grits in the restaurant is more ample than takeout, but the price is the same. I gave IHOP a 4 because after we get the food all prepped with the right ingredients at home, the food is good. The French toast is fluffy and tasty. The grits are delicious because they’re perfectly seasoned. If all of the other ingredients were added to our bag and no return trips had to be made, I would be happier. On a positive note, I’ve noticed some new menu items that look very tasty and when in the mood for an in-person meal, we’ll definitely try them. Vegetarian options: The strawberry banana French toast is an excellent vegetarian breakfast for me."

"Love this location. Dave is the most attentive and pleasurable server. He knows our order before we sit down and yes, we will wait to be seated in his section. It isn't just us, he treats all customers with respect. Michelle, the manager, is not behind the scene. She makes it her mission to go from table to table to ask if all is good. "A quick Google search for LuMar won't give you much information about this charming eatery located in Old Town Monrovia. To understand the story behind its name, you'll need to speak with the owner, Dragica Grabovac, who named the restaurant after her two children, Lucia and Mario. They were teenagers when Cafe LuMar opened its doors in early 2012, and now, as the restaurant embarks on its ninth year, it embodies the spirit of a beloved neighborhood spot. While you might think that most of the menu isn't Croatian, that would overlook the rich influences that shape Croatian cuisine, which borrows flavors from various parts of Europe. One dish that proudly represents Croatian traditions is sarma, a delicious stuffed cabbage dish that's popular throughout the Balkans. At Cafe LuMar, the cabbage leaves are expertly prepared and filled with a savory mixture of ground beef, pork, and rice, all smothered in a delightful sauce. BEWARE for those with Celiac or Wheat Allergy: All the IHOP Omelettes are a mix of eggs and pancake batter to make theomelette look bigger. If you tell them you are allergic to wheat or are a Celiac patient and want eggs only they will make youromelette with eggs and no pancake batter. Bottom line, their omelette is No Waffle House Omelette. They charged me 0.99 for apiece of cheese and 0.99 for onions I could not find in my hash browns. But all in all this Really is a higher end cleaner,better IHOP in the area. I forgot to take pictures. We were very hungry."

"The servers were a lot of fun. The 2 that they had when we got there were running around trying to keep up with the five tables that was there. They kept smiling and were very upbeat about things. When our food came the hash browns and bacon was Luke warm. They got it replaced very quick. We had fun with our server when she was at the table. She appreciated that we were understanding about her not being able to be right there when we needed her. Our patients helped her out a lot. It was a good experience.
