"Two stars here for pleasant service and extensive beer list. But, not sure there's much else to celebrate. Place seems to be trying to be upscale beer bar and grill. Upscale pricing, but rest of the experience left something to be desired. TVs all over the place with sports, but despite multiple live playoff games in progress, only one of nearly a dozen had a live game, like they turned them on at lunch to NFL and Golf Channel and never thought about them again. Requested a channel, never happened. Beer menu (via QR code) had no prices with anything, left you guessing before an order. Food menu has sandwiches a la carte at $10-$15 without a side. Added a $4 side of grilled zucchini to one order and it had like 8 pieces, which for the price was insane (on its own plate, it also looked small). Had it been included with the entree even at a higher price we probably wouldn't have noticed, but when you price everything separately, you expect the portion to match the expense. And, honestly be a quality that is special. An entree salad came out with different ingredients than listed on the menu, only to be told by staff that it was now prepared a new way. Other items that friends had come for were no longer on the menu. Things change, just not sure they are changing for the better here. All in all, the food was not terrible, just not up to upscale standard. Beer selection is indeed impressive. But, feel like there has to be something else in the area that can be worth this expense and be memorable for more positive reasons."

"We came here for lunch one day as we were looking for a place we could bring our pugs. This place is perfect for dogs, they give each dog a bowl of water and write their names on it. The outside is covered with turf for the dogs and they have misters going for the heat. We sat at a long bench like table and the puggies were comfortable. We started with the pretzel board that came with mustard, a chocolate peanut butter like sauce (I was not a huge fan), and queso. The queso was delicious and white, which I prefer over beer cheese. The pretzel was HUGE! It also came with corn nuts and pickles. Odd spread but the pretzel was amazing!! For lunch I had the shrimp tacos and my friend had the carne asada tacos. I was mad that they could not half and half the meat because both options are the same price and they literally put the meat separate from the tortilla. You build your own taco and they can't mix the meat...that was the only thing that upset me. I did like that the tacos were build your own and it came with three warm and wrapped tortillas. The salsa was also the perfect favorite with a slight spice. They came with guac and sour cream and my meat was mixed with lettuce. I would have liked a pico de Gallo or something similar. My husband had the burger with bacon, cheese, and other things. I forgot the name of it but it was delicious. The fries were also perfectly salted and crispy. Would definitely come again but think they should allow more substitutions and things for customers!!"

"Saltiest, dryest, most overcooked (we ordered medium burgers we have had in ages. Lettuce was slimy and wilty, tomatoes hard and pale, the sides of fries were unsalted and lukewarm/cool. The loaded fries had some cheese sauce and bacon on the top, but it was mostly just plain unsalted fries. Ingredients were clearly good quality, but whoever made the food might need to taste what they are making every once in a while, as it is just wasting food. On top of that, when we ordered at the bar, we ordered a single extra side of mayo, and when the food runner brought the food out it was absent; we asked for it and she got a big attitude and acted as if it was a huge inconvenience, saying they normally charge for it and almost didn't give us one until I politely insisted we told the bartender and were not given a print receipt, but she could check with her. Further, we were the only food order while we were there and we got carryout (we could see the kitchen and orders come up and it took around 35 minutes for our order while I don't know if that is usual for 2 burgers and 3 sides of fries, perhaps it was because they were overcooking the burgers and letting the fries get cold? Our tab for 2 burgers with sides of fries 1 order of loaded fries 1 side of mayo came out to around $42. The main UC location is always top notch, and this was our 1st time here I may give it another shot in 6 12 months after the cooks have had time to recalibrate or be replaced, but I cannot currently recommend. This was our birthday dinner (we share a birthday! , and it just really sucked. We'll try to make up for it with a stellar breakfast tomorrow."
