"The Bake Oven is fantastic! I love a dark lager and this one is fantastic technically a Schwartz Bier, nonetheless an excellent malty delicious brew! Dog friendly outside seating is much appreciated. Food is pretty darn good, everything was actually. Thai Chicken wrap, pizza, and a burger. Also, The bathroom was super clean, modern (tile floor and walls) and largely touch free. Bartender was super friendly. Love this place, would be stoked to be a mug clubber here, ceramic mugs!"

Great pizza! They even made a custom one for us when they were out of their seasonal special.

The beer selection is great, but the food menu is somewhat limited to just pizza and wraps. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible and offers plenty of parking.

The restaurant offers an excellent variety of delicious beers. The Dirty Juicy IPA is particularly tasty. The heirloom tomato pizza was quite good, and the service was both prompt and friendly. View menu

Pizza and beverages were great. Staff was super friendly despite being overly busy. I had my dog so we sat outside on the patio. There isn't a lot of seating outside and there was a car show happening in town so a bit noisy on the street with muscle cars showing their stuff.

Muleskinner Stout is an absolutely fabulous dark beer. Smooth without any bitterness. Nice kick at 6.5% but doesn't knock your .... in the dirt. The pretzel bites are scrump-dilly. Staff is top notch. Decor is old time casual with you walking past the vats to the warm and welcoming interior.

Always a great experience here. Not a local but you can tell it's a place where they go : which is great! Service is always great and the pizza and sandos area very good. The italian grinder is so good and they have A great mac salad. It's not just beer which is appreciated. They have ciders, wine and cocktails as well. Check them out when in The Dalles. View menu

It’s a nice place with a clean bathroom, and the server at the bar was friendly. However, the pizzas took at least half an hour to arrive, and we were the only ones there at the time, so I wouldn't recommend ordering them if you're in a rush. The crusts were really good, and the toppings were decent. The people who came in after us ended up leaving before their dinner arrived, so, as I mentioned, it’s not the quickest option.

Super impressed by the venue and I would give the beer seven out of 10. Out of the samplers that I had, four of them stood out as unique and very drinkable the other three were drinkable but not very unique. The pizzas are impressive and they have awesome swag! I wouldn?t make a day trip if this was the only place I was visiting however there is enough to do in the area and other brewpubs to definitely make free bridge a place to check out!

"When we arrived, the young waiter did not acknowledge us for almost ten minutes, despite other staff members suggesting where we should be seated. Once we were finally seated, he ignored us again for another fifteen minutes until another employee had to direct him to our table. After we managed to place our order, he confirmed it, and we agreed it was correct. However, we continued to wait without receiving any soup that was supposed to come with our meals. Eventually, a waitstaff member who was assisting brought my wife her soup, and when she asked about our two egg flower soups, she was given those as well. Meanwhile, the young waiter was occupied taking another table's order and told them they could just check the menu for side orders they wanted. He seemed to be in a bad mood. We waited another thirty minutes, and my family shared my wife’s meal while we continued to wait for mine. When the waiter finally walked by, I asked him about my order (the number 12), and he simply said it hadn't been ordered. I told him I had indeed ordered it, and he replied that he would go put it in. In frustration, I told him not to worry about it, and he walked away. By this time, our three kids were restless, and we didn’t want to wait any longer. I asked another waitress for our check, and she could sense something was wrong. When we received the bill, it included the number 12, which had already been marked as paid. As we were in the middle of the restaurant, the waiter suddenly announced that my food was ready. I explained to him that I no longer wanted it, but he began conversing with his coworkers in their language, so we decided to leave. I have never been so disappointed in one of my favorite local restaurants. My family and I used to come here once or twice a month, and it saddens me to say we will not be returning."
