"I ordered 4 ham and cheese sandwiches with all the toppings, two with Swiss cheese and two with yellow American cheese. However, I received all 4 sandwiches with yellow American cheese and turkey instead. This has happened to me on more than 5 occasions. One of the workers, a woman, had a major attitude. They really need to improve their service. All of them should be fired."

"We had a wonderful dinner at Cafe Escadrille for Valentine's Day. We had reservations since it is one of their busiest days. We arrived promptly and were seated equally fast in a nice location by the windows and out of the main paths to and from the kitchen. The noise level was moderate due to people enjoying being out on a special day with special friends, family, and loved ones. Very nice to see everyone's smiling faces Our meals were delightful, though the market prices on some items were high, it did not diminish the value, preparation, or the flavor of the meal. Everything was prepared to perfection, our server was timely, cheerful, and friendly. Everything came out at a nice pace so that your table was not crowded with food and dishes. We can't wait to go back."

"We elected to dine at Gibson’s as we received multiple recommendations from friends. However, the experience fell way short. As for good, table was ready 15 minutes early, personable accommodating waiter, and sea bass was incredible. On the other hand, horrible atmosphere. Basically, the restaurant intended to put as many tables as possible in a single room, at the expense of any privacy. The surrounding tables were practically dining with us. Additionally, 14 oz filet mignon was ordered with high hopes but it was a big disappointment. As for my suggestion to anyone looking for options, STK Steakhouse, where we dined the night before, earned 5 stars in every single aspect."

"Service was awful. Took 15 minutes before anyone took drink order. People who arrived after us got and ate their food before ours was dlvd. I asked our hostess and she said they were just busy. Meanwhile we have a 1 year old and an 88 year old....read the room please. I have never not left a tip but tonight I did not leave one. Food was great but need to train your wait staff. When we do go back I will be sure not to sit in a certain wait staffs area."

"We made a special trip to Ann Arbor for our meal at Pizza House. It was not our first visit there however, it has been quite some time since our last meal there. We thoroughly enjoyed a deep dish and a Sicilian pizza. The young man that waited on us was very attentive, polite and provided exceptional service. We have no issues with the environment nor the food, since it was awesome!! We would definitely recommend Pizza House to all who are interested in great food, service and environment!!! "My wife and I wanted to eat breakfast on a Sunday morning in a different place. We decided on this diner because it has the oldtime diner look and we were not disappointed in that it did have the feel as well. All the indoor seating tables have a bright airy touch. There is a counter if you prefer to eat there. The service was instant. I had a short stack of whole wheat blueberry pancakes with coffee, the warm maple syrup in the metal pitcher was a nice touch. My wife had two eggs over-easy with bacon as well as coffee. We both were satisfied with our vittles. The clean bathrooms are downstairs. On a Sunday all metered parking is free and more than ample. Nice place for a change, Hastings is very quaint and great for a short Sunday stroll."

"This place is the bestttttt. I would give it 5 stars on their food alone because from their fresh bagels, bialys, cream cheese, and all the various egg sandwich offerings, they make GREAT breakfast food. But the service is so excellent too. The super friendly staff really completes the picture of the overall perfect spot to grab a classic New York breakfast. Also, try the green sauce. I don't know what's in it (jalapeño? cilantro?? ??‍ but it was friggin' delicious with my eggs. Please stay on 30th ave forever, thank you."

"I recently dined at Char , and I must say, it was a delightful experience. The ambiance of the restaurant was inviting, making it a perfect spot for a nice meal. I ordered the Chicken Piccata, which was absolutely delicious. The flavors were well balanced, and it was cooked to perfection. The Wedge Salad was also impressive; it was fresh and crisp, complementing the main dish beautifully. I tried the Pork Chop, which was cooked well but a bit salty for my taste. It might be perfect for those who enjoy a stronger flavor profile. To top off the meal, I indulged in the Caramel Cheesecake. It was simply amazing—rich, creamy, and the caramel added a wonderful touch. Overall, I highly recommend Char for its great food and lovely atmosphere. "I visited right after the restaurant opened today and ordered the McStuffin with house-smoked turkey. I went a bit out of my way because of all the positive reviews, and I have to say, it was one of the best sandwiches I've ever had. The person who seemed to be the owner was working this morning, and you could tell he truly cared about the customers. While I waited, he offered me a sample of the smoked turkey and even offered to prepare some pickles on the side for me. As a lovely surprise after finishing my sandwich, he included a delicious chocolate chip cookie in the bag. I can't wait to return to the area to try more items from the menu! This place deserves to have a line out the door and should be on every foodie's list of must-visit delis!"

"Unfortunately we will no longer be eating here. On Monday 8/12 we stopped in to have dinner not the best service but it happens, but food was great as always. This has always been our go to family restaurant….not anymore! My husband went used the men’s restroom a guy came in that was from the kitchen, used the urinal after he was done NEVER washed his hands went right back to work. We were done eating when my husband went to pay he asked to see the manager, he explained what he just witnessed, how utterly disgusted we were that we will not be back! He was on his way to go see who in the kitchen was responsible but then got a phone call. We don’t know if he ever addressed this in the kitchen because we left while he was on the phone. I’m not one to post stuff like this but I feel it should be put out there. With everything that was pounded into our heads when Covid hit Im surprised at this."

"I was charged $19 for soup and a handful of fries. The soup clearly say $5.50 on the menu for the larger size. I didn’t see a price for an order of fries but figured everything together would be around $12-$13. When I called to ask what happened after my partner came home with the food they told me they charged me about $12 for the soup alone. I questioned why I wasn’t charged what was on the menu and was told that they only serve soup for that price when you eat in the restaurant. This was not specified on the menu whatsoever, nor was it mentioned to me when I called to order. I was begrudgingly told I could return for a $5 refund but I don’t feel like dragging myself out of bed with the stomach bug. I’ve always gone here because it is convenient but after this experience and the multiple times I’ve found hair in my food (at least 3) I will not be returning."

"I had the Spicy Lover, it was so delicious, Rutgers to me is known for the Fat Sandwiches. Gotta love Jerz for this reason because I'm from the Midwest. "I had a terrible experience at this restaurant. The food was subpar—my chicken cheesesteak didn't even have any cheese on it! The staff member who took my order at the counter was rude. When I called to inform him about the missing cheese, he actually argued with me. I booked this at a resort, so there's really no reason for me to lie about a $12 sandwich. One of the employees, who identified himself as Joel, was particularly unhelpful. I would recommend avoiding this place altogether; the food feels like the worst kind of cafeteria fare. It's unbelievable that Joel couldn't even remember leaving the cheese off my chicken cheesesteak. So disappointing."

"What a find. We tried this neighborhood gem yesterday and are so glad we did. Very diverse menu and very reasonable prices. Located in a small neighborhood strip center it has a rather rustic atmosphere but it's not about the bricks mortar it's about the people and the food. Not too many places serve lobster rolls (think Bar Harbor) or poutine (think Vancouver). And that's only part of it. The fish chips are amazing and the service is attentive but not annoying. This a place everyone should try."

"We order our Sunday morning breakfast here almost every week. Whatever we order is either good or excellent. Pancake, cheese omelet, eggs stirred eggs or sunny side up they were all good. We always call in order and when we arrive there, it is usually ready on the pickup table. I've never eaten there, but in the weekend morning when I go, there are usually a number of people waiting for a table."
