"The good: food was delicious with decent value for the money, service was ok. Not super attentive on the water refills, but friendly enough. The bad: dirty menus, plates left out on tables as part of table set up in an outside eating area were dusty and not clean. Table wasn't that clean. The ugly: the outside eating area is lovely, however it is completely ruined by a cigar lounge two storefronts to the west. They have floor to ceiling open windows at the cigar lounge and when we first sat down the cigar smell was very faint, not a problem. However as the evening progressed the cigar smoke intensified to an intolerable level. Really offensive and quite unbelievable that this cigar lounge gets to pollute the other businesses in this way. The restaurant needs to install some exhaust fans or perhaps get the village to force the cigar lounge to close the windows up. The food was good enough to go back but perhaps inside seating would be best to avoid the cigar pollution"

"steve’s rib used to be my favorite for big bbq and good service. my burger and the side of the maise were hardly warm. no butter for the mais, so I asked the bartender for butter. minutes pass and taylor the barkeeper has spoken all the time with the only other customer at the bar. I went ahead and pulled my mais dish from my teller and to the bar dish, where she goes her empty. taylor goes shopping times and finally comes back with butter. I let him know that I am not doing the butter now, because my meal is ready and the mais is completely cold. he's throwing the mais out. no adjustment to the ticket or confirmation of insult. poor service along with moderate eating will sink this joint! don't waste your money. I'm not going back."

"that was our first time here. our server was steven. he was wonderful. we both had a cocktail. my dancing flower was very refreshing. the starters all looked so good that we decided to try three he had proposed. they were all very good. the unpacked Brisket nachos were our favorites. I'll go back in a way that my man can try the wings. they were very recommended, but my friend and I don't do any bones, so they passed on"

I do recommend the jalapeño poppers and the pulled pork with tater tots—they're always good. Overall, the vibe is genuine and laid-back—there’s none of that pretentious attitude you find at some places."

"would give 5 stars if they were actually open when they say they are. that seems to be a big problem. the personal is a problem everywhere. but, if they are already closed 2 days the week, then I feel as the owner of a business, then they should work there even the other 5 days when they are low on the staff. the one you never do? you have no chance! but, apart from a Friday night before 3 weeks, this load was closed 4 different times that we order in the last 2 weeks on days, their website says they are open. Nobody answers the phone. considering that they are a franchise location and still run in pandemic hours (after website, only 5 hours a day, allegedly 5 days in the week, but I know that they are not even open 5 days in the week I am really surprised that they have not cracked their franchise license."

"I will not be returning due to the poor service. We waited 45 minutes for our food, and although there were two waitresses available for just a few tables, they mostly kept their distance from the customers. They didn’t check in on us or offer us drinks until we asked for a refill. The chicken was good, but the other dishes didn’t impress. Now I understand why there weren’t many customers during lunch!"

"Visited while on vacation from Michigan. Great food and great atmosphere! We had the wings, salad, and a burger Service was good. Waitress was extremely nice and made sure we had everything we needed! Worth taking a trip off the beaten path! I’ll definitely rest here again on my next trip!"

"I'm going to complain about the price. $60 for the platter that has a sample of everything. Do I blame 2024? Anyway... The bbq itself was very good. It makes the nearby chains look really bad. That said, I've never been a fan of chicken at BBQ joints and this place has not changed my mind about that. That coleslaw was very good, and despite also not being a huge fan of potato salad (that I did not order, I ordered mashed potato), it was fine for potato salad. The missed order plus the guy in the front not being welcoming is definitely a miss. Next time I want BBQ, I'm probably going to try someplace I've not been to yet, as this has not proven itself as an instant go to. But, i wouldn't mind coming back again at some point"

"The customer service was outstanding. The young lady who took my order was wonderful; she double-checked everything before I left and even gave me a loyalty card. Be sure to ask for one! If you're worried about getting out of your car, don’t be! They have a drive-thru option. I highly recommend trying this place once or twice; I promise you won't be disappointed!"

"For roast beef it would be ok, for barbecue brisket a total fail. No smoke ring, little flavor, not barbecue.Accompanied by sad frozen frys from a box and some of the worst Mac and Cheese you've ever had the misfortune to encounter. You can still taste the grit from the undercooked starch in the cheese sauce.For the record, I like ribs with chew, but that is different than being tough. No smoke, little flavor, and what flavor they do have tastes like yesterday's special.Don't even bother with the house sauce tastes like a combination of hoisin and ketchup. Gag."

"we stayed during the trip to this restaurant, hoping for a nice smokehouse lunchtime. our first note on how this could prove, was very unclean from the toilets with paper around the floor and some of the towel and soap dispensers were out of order. then the smoked brisket I was served had no smoke ring, no bark and no smoked taste. it seemed like it was cooked many times. my wife then discovered the soda machine had moulded around the egg donor, so we went to the other donor the same. we tried to tell the manager politely about the mold, but was treated very rudely by the manager with a posture. no thanks, will not return to this restaurant!"

"Although my dining experience at this restaurant has always been very positive, the quality of the food I have received with their delivery has been subpar. On one occasion, I received a $16 sandwich with half of the meat on soggy bread. When I brought this issue to the manager, they did not make any effort to resolve the complaint from a loyal customer. This lack of customer service speaks volumes about their priorities. While their prices are not cheap, the low quality of their products is starting to impact customer satisfaction. It is disappointing to have to take pity on the terrible manager I have been dealing with."

"This was a fabulous meal!! They were very busy, but we still only waited a few minutes to be seated. The staff was very nice, the food was fabulous, and the restaurant was clean and welcoming. The wood fired steak was amazing and the seasonal veggies were great! They even had French onion butter that day for the bread. We would 100 percent go again! Highly recommend"
