"On March 22nd, I ordered Singapore rice noodles, General Chicken, and Szechuan Beef (they no longer offer crispy beef). Unfortunately, the food quality left much to be desired: 1. **Singapore Rice Noodles**: The dish was bland and lackluster. It desperately needed more curry powder, spices, and meat. In previous visits, the dish was flavorful and included ample meat, eggs, and vegetables. Now, it was mostly 95% rice noodles (vermicelli) and had a faint, off-putting smell, suggesting it might have been stale. 2. **Szechuan Beef**: This dish was heavily salted and contained very little beef—about 70% was vegetables and only 30% was meat. The beef itself was thickly cut, rather than the uniform slices I expected. 3. **General Chicken**: This was the only redeeming part of the meal, though it was still mediocre. Nearby restaurants like Wah Shine and Dragon Palace offer exceptional General Chicken. Because of this disappointing experience, my family is hesitant to order from Chef Chen again. If we do in the future, I can confidently say that the Singapore Rice Noodles and Szechuan Beef will be off the table. On a positive note, I must commend Brian, who took my order. He was polite, professional, and efficient in processing my takeout. Ultimately, I believe everyone has their preferences. If you’re curious, feel free to give Chef Chen a try despite my review. The new ownership might suit your tastes, and if not, I encourage you to provide constructive feedback to help them improve. By the way, if you're in the mood for great Singapore Rice Noodles, I highly recommend Dragon Palace in Vacaville."

"My husband and I always order takeout from China Paradise when we're craving good food, but we dined in on a Wednesday evening and had such a great experience. Once you walk in you notice that the restaurant is very clean and is decorated very well. It's looks upscale but still feels like home. We managed to grab a table before the rush, but dine ins really poured in behind us, so we got lucky! I'll start with the service because even my husband has a lot to say about it. The woman who was serving the dining tables (I believe she's the owner) is truly so kind. She was fun to chat with, and really helped wind down some tension after a long work day. She was ever ready to get us anything we needed and even packed our to go boxes for us when we were done, which was extra sweet. Now to the food! Sooo tasty! The owner got us started with complimentary wontons and sweet and sour sauce fried so crispy, but not too overwhelming as a small appetizer. Everything we ordered arrived very fresh. We ordered Szechuan chicken, veggie chow mein, and brown rice. This was more than enough food for just the two of us! We have plenty of leftovers. The chow mein had plenty of veggies and the garlic noodles were so good. The chicken dish was everything we expected saucy and full of flavor. The steamed broccoli and onions were delicious! We took a look around at other people's plates while we were leaving and everting looked really good. We have so many options for next time we visit! Can't wait to come back. We had a very good experience here!"
