"We have been here several times and usually had a good experience. We recently went and had a less than stellar experience to where we both decided we don’t need to go back anytime soon. The cost seems to have gotten as pricey as other steakhouses in the suburbs—we have often opted to go to Johnny’s on account of it being a little more reasonable (we paid $58 for 10 oz filet, so it seems a little higher than in the last). The bread and butter had almost no flavor and the sauce in the steak seemed like it could have come from a jar. A good filet should stand alone without difficulty, but it was pretty tough as far as filets usually go, and I guess that’s why they felt the need to set it in a brown sauce. Our server was ok and certainly nice, though she did forget the $20 glasses of wine that we had asked to bring with our steaks. Our steak toppings didn’t come out right away either, so we sat there for a few minutes for both topping and wine to come out. Again, nothing was terrible, it just wasn’t great, and we will likely stick to other restaurants for the near future."

"In Elkhart for work and had dinner here with amazing coworkers! Fantastic service, our server, Ruth (I hope I remembered correctly) was so wonderful! She was friendly, knowledgeable, and had a wonderful smile that lit up the room! And it really helped that she called me 'Bobert ', something only my sister does. So that immediately endeared me to her. I had the ground prime rib hamburger, which on the surface seems pretty basic but it was the most delicious hamburger I 've ever had! I could not recommend a better place to sit and have a wonderful experience at while in Elkhart! And if you 're looking for a different kind of drink to have, make sure you get the Ron Burgundy, I 'll leave it at that other than to say that it was one of the most excellent drinks I 've had in a long time!"

"This is the first time my wife and I have ever walked out of a restaurant. Party of 2, arrived at 6pm for a 6:30pm reservation. My wife and I enjoyed a drink at the bar, which was excellent. We were then seated outside at 6:30, and things went downhill. We saw 2-3 servers/staff stop and look at us but no one, no one, said anything to us, let alone greet us. It was a gorgeous night and we were chatting so we didn't pay much mind. After a bit, however, it was ridiculous. My wife went to the hostess stand. We were quickly given some bread and waters. It was 7:05pm. We were told the manager and a server would be over in a minute. At this point we were done. At 7:08pm we had it and left, opting to walk a short distance to Lib's Grill. On the walk over I called the restaurant to ask why we were ignored and spoke with the manager. While pleasant and apologetic out night out was compromised. She said they were short staffed and had several large parties that needed attention. We were very much looking forward to a good night and what looked and smelled to be great food. The manager asked us to come back and she would give us a $25 gift certificate. I said we were there for 38 minutes at a table, in the front to boot, and were completely ignored. Why would we walk back? In this day and age, completely unacceptable. Shame on Galliano, thank you Lib's Grill for a terrific meal and outstanding service!"

"Delicious dinner @atlanticfishbos • Whole Branzino $44 (9/10) • Crab queso special $28 (9/10) • Chowder Cup $10 (9/10) • Lobster Ravioli $42 (7/10) • Crab cake side $9 (9/10) • Sangria $18 (8/10) • Old Fashioned $18 (8/10) We strolled in on a Tuesday night without a reservation right before 5pm they were able to squeeze us in. Karina, our waitress, was amazing after hearing our chatter around appetizers she tempted us with the crab queso, which was divine. The only thing I did not love was the lobster ravioli, I just wish the dish had a bit more flavor. Overall great experience, highly recommend when in the Boston area."

"This restaurant is amazing ! All dishes are perfectly prepared and beautifully crafted. Atmosphere is the best ! vibrant and lively. Service is seriously one of the best in Dallas !. Now, you ask why the 3 stars? this establishment deserves 5 stars and I would agree but the reason for the 3 stars and most likely not going back (we really would love to go back) is the sommelier !!. When we got seated the extremely nice and friendly hostess offer us utilizing the restaurant's sommelier. I was hesitant but my wife was excited for the sommelier's expert recommendations. I really wish we didn't ask for him. Not only he showed up with zero enthusiasm but also very limited knowledge. It is very clear that he really didn't want to be there. Also from the short conversation we had with him he didn't try to be less arrogant portraying the stereotypical image of a wine snob."

"eating was great, drinks were great, atmosphere was great. only the reason I gave four stars is because we sat on their "indoor terrace" which was really in the foyer of the office building. although it is a very beautiful place, it takes itself from the restaurant to feel a little. so good!"

"Halls Chophouse offered not only exceptional food but also an extraordinary dining experience. First and foremost, reservations are definitely necessary! I booked a month in advance and my only time slots were 4:00 PM or 10:00 PM. When we arrived, everyone was incredibly welcoming and even inquired if we were celebrating something special—indeed, we were, as it was our anniversary before my fiancé proposed. After we were seated, we were treated to complimentary glasses of champagne and presented with an impressive array of meats, showcasing their quality and specials for the night. It was nothing short of spectacular! After a long day, this was the perfect place to unwind, and the portion sizes were just right. To top off our night, the owner stopped by our table for a delightful conversation, brought us more free champagne, and generously treated us to dessert. He was incredibly kind, and it's clear his employees hold him in high regard, just as we do. We couldn't have asked for a better dinner or service! Everything was truly remarkable, and we can't wait to return soon!"

"Our first visit to The Fountain Room and we were congratulated on our anniversary by the host, and then found a Happy Anniversary card signed by the staff at our table. The server Chelsea was very attentive, offered great suggestions, surprised us with a complimentary dessert to celebrate. Noise level was moderate but we were seated in the back and could hear each other just fine. We had petite filet, wagyu meatloaf, and the whipped mashed potatoes. The appetizers looked great. I’m gluten free and they made suggestions for alternative appetizers but we ultimately talked ourselves out of it. The cocktail and wine list was great, 50% off bottles of wine on Monday, we will be back for that alone. The server swapped out the complimentary brownie for dessert for sorbet so I could enjoy! We will return!"

"The service was terrible. The bartender was heavy-handed and only seemed to know how to pour vodka. We went on a Saturday evening, but it was slow and almost empty for a weekend night. The waitress was missing in action for most of our visit and we had to refill our own water. The food was good, but the bartender should learn how to make more than just wine. You'll receive better service at the Pub or Burnt Wood Tavern."

"One of the best steaks I've ever had. Perfectly cooked to order and quite reasonably priced compared to other similar restaurants. Lesser rating for service was for the sour bartender who gives impressions he hates waiting on people.. perhaps a different occupation choice is warranted! All other staff were friendly helpful and terrific! Beautiful views of the grounds from plentiful windows. "Heard such great things about this restaurant so my bf booked it for our anniversary, little did I know that I would be leaving the restaurant engaged. They coordinated with him and had everything booked and planned even for the piano player to play andsing the sing Will you marry me? I sobbed like a baby I was so shocked as I didn 't suspect anything. The staff were absolutelyamazing ????, kind, loving, friendly, they helped to make the perfect night that I will never ever forget. The food wasabsolutely scrumptious, the mushrooms ???? soup was the best we 've had ever and we 've travelled all over the world ????. Themain was mouth watering, I had the pork chop and he had the salmon and both were just not short of amazing. The wine and drinkslist was also great. I think this restaurant and staff leaves an experience of a lifetime and I 'd definitely recommend it manytimes over. It 's classy, sophisticated and a wonderful warm atmosphere. Pop in and have a wonderful time you certainly will notbe disappointed. 10/10 for me 5 Rating from me. Thanks so much again for my very very special night."

"Isaac really took this evening above par. Our server was excellent in every way, but the catered bar service was phenomenal. Personally I've never ad caviar, but what a pairing with the scallops! My husband makes risotto frequently, yet the servings from Halls still feels elegant and special. Honestly the only denote on the evening is parking. I'm not asking for valet (but let's face facts, this is the type of place one could expect it) but it'd be nice to not need to walk a few blocks before being seated. In any case, from live music, to fabulous atmosphere, the night is one I will never forget. The experience went from a simple celebration of being relocated for 1 year, to a night of pure bliss. Every detail felt catered, and there are Michelin (speaking of, where's yalls star? Bc you've earned it in my book) star restaurants that didn't match this night. Thank you! Parking: There are several lots and garages within a few blocks, and of street parking as well. It's a downtown location, parking is annoying at best. Really research what else is going on in downtown for your reservation night, Halls sits quite close to the peace center, which can fill those garages and lots pretty quickly. Also, spot angles (parking app) is a neat tool to help on this topic. Updates when the garages are full and occasionally can point out a free space or 2."

"Unfortunately, this place has gone downhill as they have changed management in recent years. We used to be regulars and the last couple of times we were there was no good eating. the chicken parm tasted like a frozen chicken patty that was heated. the artichokes were so salty that I could not eat them, and the melone in the burrata and melon salad was so hard and not ripe at all. the waiter was great, but eating was very good. sadly, our once must go to place, make some changes so that we can come back."

"Outstanding food and very good service. Small but acceptable wine list and very good cocktails. The sushi rolls were superb and not gimmicky , at least not the ones that were ordered for our app. I appreciate any place that does not overcook its fish. Each setup for all the proteins made sense. I 'll dine nere over any celebrity restaurant in Vegas, full stop."

"I had a fantastic brunch experience overall, rating it a 4.5 out of 5. Jamie, our server, deserves a perfect score of 5 out of 5 – he was outstanding. The restaurant has an a la carte menu, which is not my favorite style, but the prices are very reasonable. I ordered the buttermilk pancakes, potatoes, and sausage, and the portion sizes were just right for me – enough to satisfy me without overeating. The potatoes were absolutely delicious, the best I've ever had. I don't know what they seasoned them with, but I almost wanted to order more. However, I managed to resist the temptation! For brunch drinks, I tried the pear bellini and mimosa, which were a bit bland but did the trick. It seemed like the drinks were pre-mixed and served from a pitcher. Besides the amazing food, Jamie really stood out during our meal. He was quietly attentive, able to gauge the mood of our table and provide service at just the right times. When my friend and I were having a private conversation, he respected our space and did not interrupt. I highly recommend this restaurant for a great brunch experience."

"Paesanos River Walk did not disappoint! The food was delicious. The waiter was excellent! They didn't seem to mind that two of our diners were running late. There were 10 of us. We ordered drinks appetizers and waited for their arrival before ordering. The Eggplant, Spaghetti Meatballs, Shrimp Paesanos were delicious. We will certainly be back on our next trip to San Antonio Riverwalk. A true Italian restaurant!"

"I will begin by saying the atmosphere is very beautiful and classic high end steakhouse. You walk in the doors to view of the expansive alcohol display. The light are low and the soulful r&b welcome you in as the friendly host walked us to our table. Weordered 2 cocktails; a Smokey mezcal for me and Four Roses Old Fashion for the wife. Both of which were delicious and met ourexpectations. Unfortunately that is where the positive ends. Our server took our drink order and we stopped him so I couldorder an appetizer and my wife a house salad. Another table was offered bread and butter but we must not look like bread lovers.Grateful they’re helping us watch the waistline. Our waiter needed to be stopped so I could order the tuna (deliciousappetizer) but walked away before my wife could order her salad. After sometime we finally flagged down our waiter so she couldorder a house salad, to which he replied ok and started to walk away. She stopped him before he walked all the way to tell himwhat dressing should would like. Not sure what would have come out but at least she got that out. But I understand as he wasreally busy hanging out at the bar and managing his 1 table; us. 35 minutes after arriving and many stare downs later hemeanders on over to see if we’d like dinner. Ummm why were we at a booth table at a steakhouse? Maybe for the atmosphere butno we let him know we were here for food. My wife ordered the boneless rib-eye with Brussels sprouts (whoops they’re out helets us know after a few minutes so Mac n cheese it is). I ordered the Ny strip with asparagus. When the food arrived, veryquickly by all standards, we put the service aside and looked forward to some delicious $50 steaks. Well I guess 50% isn’tbad. My steak, ordered med well was served med rare and looked like a backyard bbq not even using Costco steak. But had somepeppery flavor to it and decide not a $50 steak but you know this atmosphere must be work $30 so there’s that. My wife wh"

"I have been going to the lighthouse since it opened and I've experienced it improve immensely over the years. The bar is owned by a sister and a brother duo who have physically built aspects of the place and spirituality infused a vibrant pulse making it the social beacon it has set out to be.The food in the beginning had room for improvement and it has improved. They make the most delicious sourdough bread and you can purchase a loaf as long as they have them to spare which is a wonderful option especially when you live two blocks away. The staff is always accommodating and friendly. As times have gotten more challenging, portions have shrunk and prices have risen which is understandable, I'm happy to pay more to help a restaurant that has weathered the pandemic storm. One thing I do wish they would consider changing is charging extra for things that are typically offered as complimentary. If someone orders a dish that needs bread to eat it, don't make them order it separately. If a dish needs chips to eat it and not enough are provided, just provide a little bit more without charging them. I've never complained about this as a customer and I would never refuse to pay for extra charges. How ever, I recently brought a somewhat frugal friend here and he flipped out at the extra charge that was not disclosed which he didn't handle well despite having a valid point. We were credit the extra fee. My feeling is that for what the restaurant is charging for things, I really can't see them losing much by not nickel and diming as if it were an à la cart takeout place. I think it is better etiquette to provide typically customary items with dishes as customary. Perhaps this is the new normal, however I have yet to experience another place, at a similar price point, with equally delicious food follow suit. Nevertheless, this is a minor beef with an establishment that overall does an amazing job."

"Food was mediocre. Went for restaurant week all they were featuring was pizza. Very disappointed. I had the meat ball sandwich and the description was a meat ball in a baguette with sauce and cheese. Arrived one meatball between two pieces of hard bread. I ask where the sauce was and she claimed they must have forgotten. She did bring sauce by could not eat as a sandwich. And fries were pieces and cold. My partner got the spaghetti and meat balls but said the sauce was tasteless. Would not return. Even service was slow. I guess this is really just a pizza place."

"This is our favorite place in the world to travel and stay on vacation. We have been here many times but each time somehow seems to surpass the previous visit. (We think there might be some kind of join-the-W Hotel South Beach-cult-inducing ingredients in the fragrance that you breathe in when you arrive? We don't care, because we are avid members of any cult here! Okay, one might think we are biased because we already love it here. We are. But we still have our eyes wide open and have expressed our opinions on things that might have fallen short of our expectations and they listen and respond every time. The sheer expanse of the hotel, the lobby, the pool, the restaurants and bars is just mind blowing. Even when they are at capacity, they have a way of making us feel special. They take time to talk with us, get to know us, find out the things we like most and curate our stay with the utmost care and respect. This was our first visit back to South Beach in three years. There were several places we had been looking forward to because of past exceptional experiences. The only place that did not disappoint us was the W Hotel. Service has fallen across the board, across the world, for so many establishments due to staffing issues after the shutdowns. The W Hotel had even higher service standards with their teams and staffing for this visit. Our list of names that impressed us is even longer than the last time. (Big thank you's go out to Eric, and David (who is always there! at the front door, Lucey, Laura, Alex (both of them! , and Lucas in The Living Room. Rachel, Eddie, at the pool. La'Vander, Shawn, and the rest of the dancing beach team down at Sand. Sole, Andrew, and the other Insiders who made our visit perfect. George and Rick who hosted the cigar smokers event. The Style Team led by Andres just made the place sparkle! Ricky at RWSB was a welcome moment every time we interacted. Honestly, everyone we came in contact with was personable, caring, and helpful. The newly decorated rooms were quite peaceful. There is a beach-vibe happening with the colors and decor. Much cheerier than the previous modern/minimalist look that we also loved. They kept the iconic shell ceiling lamps that have an almost wind-chime effect when one walks by them. So calming. We are already planning our next visit. We will be watching for snippets of information and updates on Instagram. (We were told about some of the next updates and they will be quite fantastic! Thank you, everyone, at The W South Beach. We are genuinely big fans and appreciate every little thing you all do to make the place as close to perfect as it seems to be!"
