"I felt we spent too much for the quality of food we received. The carpaccio should of been labeled as a salad since that what it pretty much what it was. The focus was all the leafy greens covering up how little your are getting of the thinly sliced beef. Calamari was rubbery and chewy. Sadly the tourist traps on the wharf and Cannery row would be comparable. Venison tenderloin was very under seasoned and just tasted of grill markings. I had to leave the parts that I could not chew due to how under cooked it was. It was probably too cold when it got seared on the grill. Over cooked on the outside and under cooked on the inside. Sauce had a weird bitter taste that just intensified the seared flavor. My child’s rib dinner was very tough meat. I couldn’t believe that a chef checked the ribs and was like yeah that is okay. "Overall, the food was very good and the venue was nice and modern but the service was a bit slow and the prices were on the higher end with cocktails costing $20 each along with an automatic 20% gratuity applied. There was an empty hostess stand when we 1st arrived but after asking the bar they advised us that the hostess was on the other end of the restaurant (the hotel side). Our server was pleasant and made good recommendations, but there was a long lag between our courses, and he did not come back to our table for quite awhile after we received our entrees. We had the Hamachi Crudo and Scallops to start, and both were delicious. The scallops were buttery and the Hamachi crudo was light and flavorful. For entrees, we had the Cacio e Pepe with shrimp added and the Steak and Frites. The Steak and Frites had very nice flavor and I was satisfied with the Cacio e Pepe as well. The Wake and Bake cocktail was very comforting and a perfect fall drink if you like apples and the smokiness of mezcal. We ended with the Na'Nu and Make a Wish. They were okay desserts, but I was not really impressed with either one. I am glad we tried them out, but I'm not sure if I'll revisit given the prices and lack of attentive service. We might consider giving them another shot in the future because the food was very good for the most part. It's frustrating that the gratuity is already added because I didn't feel like the service was worth 20% but I guess they don't have to try as hard when they know they are getting 20% automatically."

"We arrived and were seated by a lively table celebrating a birthday. The noise level from this table became unbearable. The restaurant was incredibly understanding and moved us almost immediately to a far more quiet area. The food as always was excellent, including cocktails and wine! There were four of us. We order the artichokes, haystack onion rings, salad, ribs and abalone. All selections were delicious!"

"I recently had the pleasure of enjoying brunch at Carson’s, and I have to say, it was nothing short of spectacular! From the moment I walked in, the welcoming atmosphere and attentive service set the tone for a great experience. The highlight for me was the Bloody Mary—absolutely amazing! It was perfectly seasoned and had the right balance of spice and flavor. For food, the Fried Chicken Breakfast was a standout. "El Bolero is a perfect spot for a festive cocktail and meal. We met for dinner before a concert downtown. The drinks are outstanding, finally had the famous Oilman Margarita . Its beautiful and it doesn 't disappoint. I love the queso here- it 's my favorite in Dallas, and the chips are crisp and lightly seasoned. The food is delicious- I had the vegetarian enchiladas, my friends had the burrito, barbacoa tacos and soup. The side of fried okra was delicious. Dessert was a treat- we shared 3 options. Our favorite was the caramel filled churros, followed by the fried ice cream and then the Dulce de Leche Neopolitan. The waitstaff are nice and the dinner was fun and relaxing. They are not pushing you out, and the service is a little slow. Go with time to relax and unwind!"

"After the most relaxing morning spa treatments, we were looking forward to a nice lunch and Hazelwood Tonka Bay did not disappoint. Our spa attire had us feeling pretty under dressed for indoor seating at this location. I'm sure we would have been fine for lunch but it just seemed more relaxed and comfortable outside. We arrived at shift change and we were asked to wait about 10 minutes for the new server starting their shift. This mention was greatly appreciated in advance so we didn't perceive the lag in introductions as slow service. 5 stars to the host that was on point!! The three of us shared the calamari and didn't leave a crumb. We each ordered a cup of lobster bisque and we all decided we would return simply for these two courses. Our entrees were also incredible. I ordered the halibut special, my daughter ordered a burger and my mom ordered the steak salad. We all were completely content and carried enough leftovers home for another enjoyable meal. I would recommend Hazelwood Tonka Bay for a nice meal of any kind business, girls day, date night or any celebration. Definitely on the spendier side, even at lunch, but you will not be disappointed."

"Food was delicious! I had high hopes but I guess it’s challenging during bottomless brunch. The service was some of the worst I encountered. Probably would have been a better value if it didn’t take for our server to greet us and then we barely saw him after that and he left drinks that we ordered sitting at the service station for so long they were warm by the time they arrived."

"Use to be one of my fav 's. The last two visits left much to be desired. We were seated on the bar side (louder than other visits, requested the other side and was denied) was sat at a table with strong air blowing on us (so much it made the light above the table slightly sway) requested a different spot, was sat a few booths away and made a huge difference however... apparently the air conditioner was up so high that condensation was dripping from above onto our table. Our waitress who happen to be the bartender didn 't introduce herself. Throughout the dinning experience she would pass by our table yelling at other employees yes, he just turned it up again I am assuming that she is referring to the air condition because it was quite cold and others were complaining as well. In eyes view from where we were sitting was a wall that employees were gathering to complain. The noise made our experience all the more unpleasant. Our food was brought to us by a man and I was absolutely taken back to see his thumb in my food by the way he was carrying the plate. This saddens me as like I sad before I have always enjoyed this place but the last time and this time has really put a damper on how I feel. Hope things get better."

"Fantastic food, great jazzy cafe vibe, and friendly and helpful service. This restaurant is pet friendly. They have outdoor and indoor seat. Prices are standard for the NYC experience, but the flavors are well worth it. Cash and credit are both accepted. The 5-hour short ribs for tender and bursting with flavor, and the mother lovin' meatloaf was a master class in comfort. "We have been to Harvest many times and this was just not their night. We were seated outside, which was great except for the fact that our waitress was clearly serving only our table outside and a bunch of tables in the middle of the restaurant, which caused the delays in service you'd expect. Then it was just one small miss after another. My father in law ordered a single malt scotch neat and received one with a full glass of ice, which, when he noted the mistake, was clearly strained and re-served rather than being replaced. He asked for his salad to be served with absolutely no dressing and received his on the side while my salad, which I had asked to be served dressed, was completely dry. They forgot the chicken for my son's entree. It took the more part of an hour to get and pay the check as it got colder outside (see: waitress's other tables were in the center of the restaurant). Any of these alone would be acceptable as human error but at the price point of Harvest, this many flubs was pretty uncool."

"friendly, easy-going staff, not crowded, beautiful top view, and of course good eating. here because of the evaluation on chicago eater, top 15 dog joints. the chicago style dog for $17 was an experience. not in the rule my cache, but it ate like a meal and came with fresh preparations of relish, swirling, paprika and grape tomatoes. the fries were salted directly and with a whiskey BBQ sauce that really tasted as if it was made before spot. the sausage was all bark and tasted as good as they could expect. it came with a spiced pickel I had a pleasant bite and on the side (after all there was fresh relish). I was good after the dog that was fleshy and satisfying, but I thought I wasn't back and went for a unique dessert. if they are in such things, but only if they are more in the experience and see such art, I would recommend this dessert: mais profiterole. tomato cream with fresh basilikum and sweet merengue sticks with caramel popcorn, along with orange sorbet (which made every tasty taste better) and a cookie filled with marscarpone. I will decide next time for the pumpkin sorbet, but the young one was filling this extra."

"Food is ****. Desserts are great. Could obviously tell that the head chef has control over everything there and even ruined a beautiful cheesecake that was obviously made by someone else. I scraped off the green plums and Balsamic vinegar to enjoy the actual cheesecake. Won't be coming back for food but will be back for Desserts and drinks again perhaps after enjoying a steak cooked right with real potatoes next door at Woodbridge Crossings since their Desserts aren't very good but their food is excellent. "I typically leave positive reviews, but I regretfully have to share a different experience this time. I’m not a fan of dining in “the blue room”; it lacks ambiance. I’ve enjoyed meals there in the past, but unfortunately, those options are no longer on the menu. Both of our fish dinners were below average. While the quality of the fish was good, the preparation was too heavy, with a thick sauce that didn’t taste great. Additionally, the potato smash was quite disappointing."

"Very disappointed with our visit to Colab Kitchen. The establishment shows brunch hours until 3 o’clock on Sundays. Booked a table for four for 3 o’clock yesterday. Was informed via email our reservation was changed to 2:45. Was not an issue for our party. We arrived promptly at 2:45 and was immediately told by the hostess and then by our waitress we would need to order immediately because the kitchen was closing. At this point we should have found another establishment for brunch. We have eaten and enjoyed Colab on several previous visits. Yesterday was a Horror! The grilled cheese and tomato soup combination was horrible. The tomato soup tasted like spaghetti sauce. I ordered the omelette. On the menu it says it comes with bacon and I guess in their rush they forgot the bacon and I they call a few fried onions and shredded potato strands a pancake. Asked about dessert and was told the bakery was closed.Asked if she check and lo and behold we were able to order a couple slices of pie.Really sorry I have to cross them off of dining places we frequent"

"Cheezy Vegan's staff is so nice. You immediately feel welcomed when you walk-in. I ordered the Chick'n N Waffles. The chick'n was cooked and seasoned to perfection. My partner had the crab cake, being from MD it's hard to have MD style outside of the land of pleasant living, but this was a nice substitute. The flavors melded nicely upon a very fluffy roll. As an app, we split the cheezy fries with coconut bacon! Coconut bacon might be my new favorite thing!"
