"We dined with a Vietnamese friend who took charge of the ordering. While it wouldn’t have been difficult to order as a non-Vietnamese diner, I always feel that restaurant owners may have a preference for their own. Thankfully, we were in excellent hands. The service was great, and our food arrived quickly after we ordered. With nine of us at the table, we sampled numerous dishes from the menu, which was fantastic. Parking is abundant, and the restaurant has a warm, family-friendly atmosphere. The menu is pretty standard, with no surprises, but everything we tried was enjoyable."

"I went in for dinner with a friend on Thursday, and there were only a few tables occupied. When I asked for recommendations, our young and friendly waiter with blonde highlights (kudos for the excellent service!) suggested the 'Bun Dau Mam Tom,' which includes fried tofu, fish cake, and steamed pork with a special sauce made from fermented fish and pineapple. He mentioned that 9 out of 10 customers order it. However, since I’m not a big fan of that sauce, I opted for something grilled instead. We went with the 'Bun Nem Cha Dac Biet,' which contained grilled pork, pork cake, and fried wonton wrappers served with a sweet sauce. For $36, the portion was generous—we ended up finishing only half and I shared the leftovers with another person, so it could easily feed four. One thing to note is that the pork could be sliced thinner. Overall, it was a wonderful experience, and I can't complain about using our hands to make our own rolls. Here are a couple of tips: 1) Bring at least three or four people if you want to order a specialty dish, and 2) don’t forget to ask for some chopped red chili to add a bit of spice to your rolls!"

"The atmosphere of the building was really nice as it was somewhat low-key to be in. The wait time for our food was great as it matched with the amazing food that was served from our kind server. For my first time trying Thei food I'd have to recommend a lot of people try this place as it did not disappoint not once. Service: Dine in Meal type: Dinner"

"I’ve found my new favorite spot for Asian cuisine! In my opinion, this is the best Asian restaurant in Denver. The menu is extensive, which usually makes me a bit apprehensive because large menus often mean that the food is just average. However, that’s definitely not the case here. The ginger chicken was infused with fresh ginger, and the chow mein noodles were thin and crispy—truly unlike anything I’ve had before. The vegetables were crisp and fresh, and there was no MSG in sight! Everything was absolutely delicious! The service was quick, and the atmosphere was pleasant. Overall, it was a wonderful dining experience."

"such a great experience. Service was excellent, food was DELICIOUS, cocktails were great, and all for a very reasonable price. Try the Thai sabai cocktail, the steamed dumplings, and the crab fried rice. But I’m sure nothing on the menu will disappoint."

"I will definitely bring more friends to enjoy this fantastic restaurant in Greensboro, NC. This hidden gem will surely surprise them in the best way. The food is delicious and served in generous portions (more than I could finish), the service is excellent, and the atmosphere is warm and inviting. You won’t be disappointed by the food, and you’ll want to share the experience with others. The prices are very reasonable considering the large portion sizes. There’s no way I can finish all this food in one sitting!"

"The food was pretty good, but I have a big complaint about the soft drink charges. All four main courses and two appetizers were fine. However, the bill was quite a bit higher than I expected. That is when I saw that a (can of) Coke was $2.50, and the refill (another can) was ANOTHER $2.50. I guess we need to be careful to ALWAYS ask if refills are free of charge, even 20 cent cans. Then I saw that my Arnie Palmer (not a cocktail, but a soft drink made of half lemonade and half iced tea) was charged at $4.95, as was the refill. Did the waitress think this was a cocktail? It was served as tacky as can be in a clear 12 oz plastic cup with saran wrap covering it, so it certainly did not look like a cocktail. Then I looked at the menu again, and it should also have been $2.50 like the Coke. But I got charged $4.95. BTW, the menu did not indicate there were no free refills. I tried to discuss this with the wait staff, but no one had good enough English; Imagine that. Won't be going back because I felt duped and cheated. I know that some restaurants are adding in charges to make up for the last 2 years, but a $2.50 or totally overcharged $5 soft drink with full price refills is too much for me. $15 for a coke plus refill and an Arnie Palmer plus refill. I hope they see this review and change their formula, because I won't be going back."

"Low-key, unobtrusive clean Vietnamese restaurant with substantial shredded chicken swimming in a rich flavorful chicken stock—just what I wanted on a chilly Spring evening walk after an exhausting day. If I didn’t know what I was looking for, would have walked right past its unremarkable exterior that blends in with the neighborhood. Five of the seven tables in the dining room up a few steps were full and someone was just leaving as I arrived along with a few guys picking up their takeout. As I finished, more people kept coming in—a sign that it’s quality good food reasonably priced. If you’re looking for good quality, Thai and Vietnamese food, the pho is very good."

"(If I could give 6 stars, I would! Lang Van is hands-down the best restaurant experience I’ve ever had. From the moment we walked in, they greeted us like family, making us feel genuinely welcome. The entire staff took a team approach to service, each person attentive and focused on giving us an exceptional dining experience. Having grown up as a server myself, I was incredibly impressed by their seamless teamwork and attention to detail. The food arrived fast, piping hot, and was absolutely delicious! Every bite was a delight, with flavors that truly stood out. This isn’t just dining—it’s an experience where you’re treated like family. I’ll be back and highly recommend it to anyone looking for amazing food and top-notch service!"

"everything I ordered here so far was right! this is a relatiw new (at least in the last 10 years since I returned to the dorchester) vietnamese restaurant. the staff is always very friendly and offers a very direct icy when they board and sit. I ordered the salt roasted pork chop plate, which was huge. the pork chops are super moist and crispy when they take a bite and the portion size is huge. the grilled chicken with rice reminded me of my childhood. the chicken was perfectly cooked and well seasoned. their salt roasted inkfish and soft shells crabs are great when they love seafood and kalamari style dishes. are they only aware that they can be a bit sharp, so make sure they let them know when they want it mildly. adding pork nips to this dish will give them an extra $6, but it is a huge plate. I also loved her early rolls and garlic snow puffs. they love absolutely up to any Chinese restaurant in quality and taste. their fried tofu and solid vegetables are also solid dishes when they go vegetarian. Overall, some dishes can be a little expensive if they adapt custard dishes, but the portion sizes in any case for it."

"Attempted to dine in shortly before our train we had to catch. We walked in and it was a very nice, kind of upscale dining area, and there were only two other parties dining in, since it was on the earlier side of the evening. We placed our order and planned to eat for a few minutes, but also get to-go boxes and the check as soon as the food came out.But 20 minutes later, our food still hadn't come out and we weren't going to be able to dine in at all. We asked to have our food packaged in to-go containers instead of plated, and paid the bill so we could just leave with our food once it came out. Another 10 minutes later, still no food and it was coming down to the wire. Finally, we couldn't wait any longer and we needed to be on the way out the door to get to our train. Just as we were getting up to tell our server to just cancel our order and issue me a refund, she came out with our bag of food. Relieved that we would still have dinner and be able to make our train, we thanked her as we took the bag and made our way to the train. We ate our food on the train. My boyfriend said his Pad See Ew was decent, but I wasn't terribly impressed with my Drunken Noodles. It was greasy and overcooked. The noodles were one mushy pile. And barely any flavor except just spicy (it's supposed to be a spicy basil sauce, but I could not taste any basil).I didn't see any reason our food should have taken that long to get out to us when they didn't seem too terribly busy. Maybe they had a lot of to-go orders, too, but there was only one person who came in to pick up a to-go order while we were there. Our server was very nice and understanding, and she did her best to get the kitchen to get our food out sooner, but I guess there wasn't much she could do. (One review here said something about how good food takes extra time, but this wasn't good enough to warrant that long of a wait. I've had better Drunken Noodles and only needed to wait 10 minutes at peak dinner rush.)We should have picked another place for dinner."

"We were in Milwaukee for a convention and noticed that Pier 106 was the only seafood restaurant around so decided to give it a try. Its right on the Riverwalk so a great location especially for those who like to sit outside (we didn't). We had great service and our meal was very good. We enjoyed an appetizer of mussels & clams which had white sauce over them - sauce reminded me of New England clam chowder - very different than what we expected but delicious. I had the stuffed salmon as my entrée and my husband had the ahi tuna - both dishes were very good. I'd recommend Pier 106 to anyone visiting Milwaukee."

"Love this place! The food is so good. Fried rice, chow mein, general tso's tofu, orange tofu, and stuffed eggplant are all delicious. Vegan options and options that can be made vegan are clearly marked. I do wish they would invest in textured chopsticks, as the ones they have are too slick so I have to use a fork. I only gave it 3 stars because they have some fish and a turtle for ambiance but their aquariums are really small and sparse. Turtles are social creatures but this one is all alone with nothing to do. The whole time we were there the poor guy was trying desperately to get to a plant that was just on the other side of the glass. :"

"*ordered through Uber eats* I loved it! The broth and everything that came with the pho was prepared to so well. Everything was fresh and delicious and still hot when it arrived. Portion was HUGE enough for like two people. I?ve had better lemongrass and chili tofu but this was also good. Plenty vegetarian and vegan options. Can?t wait to have it again!"
