"BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE BAR NONE!!!! My wife and I visited 54th street The Rim last night and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The food was quite flavorful, and in generous portions. Even the deserts were large portions. My wife had the Carrot cake and I had the Key Lime pie. The Key Lime pie was by far the best I've ever had in a restaurant, the filling had bits of lime pulp, the crust was PERFECT, and the chef topped it off with whipped cream with lime zest! All chilled to perfection! For those of us Key Lime lovers, this a MUST HAVE! I'm not a huge Carrot Cake fan, this one of RARE FEW times that I was absolutely impressed! Flavorful, not dry at all, and the perfect amount of frosting. As good as the food was, I cant say enough about our server Mary. This young lady defines what FANTASTIC CUSTOMER SERVICE is! Impeccable timing, a GENUINE polite and caring nature, and attentive. When another server accidentally spilled Aju all over my wife's order, and spilled some of my fries and sped away without more than hasty half mumbled apology before making a hasty exit, it was Mary that bent over backward to make things right. A few moments later the manager Leo materialized and apologized again and insisted on having my wife's order remade at no charge and gave us a free gift certificate as well. In my mind, a mark of a good restaurant is what they do to make things right when a mistake is made. I can state in all candor that there are many up scale establishments that can learn quite a bit from Mary and Leo! This was our first time eating there, and we will ABSOLUTELY be coming back! Good food in generous portions, reasonable prices, and customer service that cant be beat, and a great atmosphere. What more can a diner ask? These guys ROCK!"

"You know for some reason I thought I had already reviewed this place right after my first visit. But that was a year and some change ago. Guess not. This place is a bar. Bar food, bar ambiance, bar stool. Bar service, bar everything, everyone, everybody… butCustomer service…top tier. God likeBathroom…. CleanANDREW the waiter and service/bar dude: HE WAS AWESOMETHE FOOD. Even though I ordered a breaded chicken cutlet wrap and about 60% of it tastes like vegetables nothing wrong with it but I did expect a BIT MORE MORE MEAT. I LIKE BALANCED MEALS YA KNOW…Overall the food was made with good quality customer service ! Especially with my extra condiments because y’all know I’m a sauce guy aka extra chipotle mayo on everything. THE FRIES WERE CRIPS (these are the new fries they debuted whenever they did) because last I remember they had shoestring and waffles… BUT THESE GOD TIER THICK CRINKLE CUT FRIES…. omg…….I also ordered a side salad to balance everything out with extra red onions (red onions on anything is BETTER) remember that.Overall my first time last year was good. My second or third time today was good and comforting..Please support the locals ! And drink responsibly (I don’t drink) Vegetarian options: Plenty of options. That I can recall. Kid-friendliness: Just stay away from the bar kids. ADULTS ONLY PLUS they’re kids menu."

"I should start and say that I 've been relatively local to this place for 10 years and only stopped in 3 times maybe? Normally I give it a shot again every once in a while and it is just blah. Atmosphere is actually decent for a strip mall location. Opt for the table/bar booths are like 1900 church pews not comfortable. Food: leaves a lot to be desired here. This is not a destination Irish pub for a few reasons but most of all the food is lack luster. While I think some of the stuff is actually scratch made I feel like a lot is straight off a US foods truck and into a deep frier. We ordered 4 things: steak bites, papas delights (Ruben egg rolls), fish and chips, and their version of a southern pickle brined chicken sandwich. Number one gripe was that when you think of Ruben you think of corned beef.. hopefully pics will illustrate this but there is a SINGLE slice of deli sliced corned beef on here ... not saying it has to be a Katz deli sandwich, but damn, you literally just get sauerkraut and Swiss.... kind of reminds me of how everyone complains about Chipotle and their portion sizing recently, except far worse..... 3/10... steak bites were tender but harshly overcooked. They never stood a chance because they 're prepped way too small. The appetizer came with onion strings and there was no steak bites especially compared to the garnishes... see pics...see Chipotle comment above 2/10. The main course.... 3 fish nuggets... they should go traditional and serve a whole fillet here but they 're prepping it, or are getting it from a US foods truck as nugget style... chips are not chips... but out the bag of Jojos.... they should be fresh cut to stand up to this Irish/English classic. Chicken sandwich is dry... it 's chicken breast, I expected it. Service: we came when it was busy, I 'll give the benefit of the doubt here but it took a while and we had to flag our waitress down 3 times for drinks/food ordering (after our initial app/drink order). Cost: 2/10 I feel like in this economy this is where people really make decisions, even in Woodbury. The real crime is that for 4 beers 2 apps and entrees we paid just over a $100. Plus $20 tip. The real caveat here is that you have to compare this to every other place where you can get a $100 meal for 2. This is approaching date night type spots which aren 't too far away like Mallory 's/Pier500 in Hudson or Mancinis/Digidio type prices in St Paul. Which again boggles my mind how this place stays in business. It has to be local businesses and friends of the bartender. Bonus: Also asked for a Guinness with Ribena just to test how Irish this place really is and got a blank stair and honestly an idk... changed order to a black and tan but the blank stair without effort to ask was slightly depressing but perhaps waitress was having a bad day... she made no attempt to ask or find out this info. Try a different spot in Woodbury, for quick and light bar fair up the road is decent at the taproom. This place is just meh I 'm unsure how they stay in business in this economy without stellar food and service. Maybe very loyal and close locals."

"I 've been coming here on and off for years. I live a few minutes away. Sam is great and the heroes are great after a long day. Today I went in at 9pm after a long day looking for a hero, fries and soda. That 's all I wanted. I ordered off the sign in front of me and it clearly says chicken parm hero, fries and soda are $9.99 but I 'm told $11.99. I figured tax and a surcharge for a credit card but I get handed back a receipt for $12.48 and the guy goes to the back. While I 'm waiting I see another sign that says $9.99 for the fries and chicken parm hero with no soda so I ask the guy to come up front and ask him to confirm the price. He tells me the soda is extra. I told him him the sign above him says a different price how are customers supposed to know? He says I didn 't ask him. If I had asked him he would have told me. Is pricing now a game? He complains he told the owner to fix the price but he doesn 't listen. How is that my problem? He then says Mami don 't blame me. I told him to just give me my money for the soda and I 'll get the parm and fries. He then says You 're blaming me! And I told him I don 't know you. I came in here for food and now I just asking for my money back for the soda I was overcharged for. He hands me back $12.50. I said so because you 're pride is hurt you are canceling my order? Normally I would call the owner and let them know what 's going on but I 'm over tolerating terrible customer service. Your employee has no business calling me mami either. Have some respect for the women coming into your business."
