"I have never had a bad meal at Butch's, and I've never felt compelled to write a review until now. On Monday, October 9th, my husband and I decided to go for an early dinner since it was a holiday. Our waiter, Tyler, informed us that the specials were in the process of being updated, so there would be a short wait. He made sure we had drinks and bread while we waited. One of the specials was blackened swordfish tips served over a Caesar salad, but I asked if I could substitute the salad for mashed potatoes and vegetables instead. The chef graciously accommodated my request. If there were a Yelp for waiters, Tyler would definitely earn five stars for his knowledge of the menu and his meticulous attention to detail. He was friendly and patient, never judging my unique preferences. The chef also deserves five stars because the blackened swordfish was absolutely amazing. I always recommend Butch's whenever anyone asks for a fantastic dining spot in Haverhill."
