Butch's Uptown - Menu

This restaurant may be small, but it has a cozy charm and offers some of the best food around. The owners and waitstaff are exceptional, providing excellent service without a long wait for your meal. Everything is incredibly delicious—definitely a must-visit!

I discovered this restaurant on Phantom Gourmet, and it certainly lived up to the hype. The waitress was friendly and attentive, making the experience even better. The food was outstanding! The only downside was that it was a bit noisy. Thank you for making this visit so wonderful!

While she really enjoyed her meal, I was extremely disappointed with mine. The sausage meatball was terrible—especially the meatball. I can honestly say it's the worst meatball I've ever had. The service, food, and drinks were excellent. We had the fried calamari 'Rhode Island Style ' for an appetizer, fried fish and clams special as my entree and my companion had the barbeque special for his entree. I had the Cadillac Margarita as my drink choice. We enjoyed it all. Nice atmosphere, plenty of room, reasonably priced, and plenty of parking. I definitely give it a 2 thumbs up.

Great new find with positive Friday night hustle bustle atmosphere, but no problem getting a table in a jiffy. There's a wide selection of apps, sandwiches, burgers and dinners. We had a hard time deciding, but settled on the combo fried sampler, french dip and seafood alfredo...no room after that for desert! Phantom Gourmet called out Cheri as the premier server and we were so lucky to win her in the lottery....great attitude and all about making sure we enjoyed...and we did! This place is a keeper and we will be back!

My wife and I recently had a meal at Butch's Uptown, and we are completely enchanted by this restaurant! The food is outstanding—fresh seafood, delicious meats, and an amazing menu. The service is excellent, featuring the warmest and friendliest staff. Since they now know we make the trip from Tyngsborough every week, we invited some friends along this time, and they've fallen in love with it too! Dining at this restaurant is always a pleasure. We've visited frequently and have never had a disappointing experience. While the menu isn’t particularly innovative, the quality is consistently good. There are plenty of excellent options to choose from, and they feature a fantastic selection of nightly specials. One of my favorites is the baked stuffed squid, which I wish was available on the regular menu! The fritto misto appetizer is outstanding, and they even make their own mozzarella sticks! The fish is always fresh. This place is truly a hidden gem in Haverhill.

I visited this restaurant for the first time and had a wonderful experience. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the food was absolutely delicious. My husband especially loved the Butcher's Cut of Prime Rib, and the Veal was just perfect – thin and tender. Our table was ready right on time, which was great. As a chef, my husband is quite particular about his food, but this place exceeded his expectations and truly deserves a 10-star rating. It's now our favorite dining spot! All six of us left feeling satisfied and happy with our meals. A big thank you to Cherie for providing a fantastic meal and a warm smile. I highly recommend this place!

I have never had a bad meal at Butch's, and I've never felt compelled to write a review until now. On Monday, October 9th, my husband and I decided to go for an early dinner since it was a holiday. Our waiter, Tyler, informed us that the specials were in the process of being updated, so there would be a short wait. He made sure we had drinks and bread while we waited. One of the specials was blackened swordfish tips served over a Caesar salad, but I asked if I could substitute the salad for mashed potatoes and vegetables instead. The chef graciously accommodated my request. If there were a Yelp for waiters, Tyler would definitely earn five stars for his knowledge of the menu and his meticulo... View menu
