"The parking was terrible, and the interior was dark and outdated. The menu pricing for steaks was market price, which I have only ever seen applied to fish at coastal restaurants. Our waitress was friendly, but her opinions of the food were less than complementary, besides the steak. This was my first visit, but I wasn 't overly impressed."

"All young people except the guy who cleans tables and he's was very nice! Very dark on the outside side. Couldn't see my plate my husband's filet mignon medium rare was more medium! Everything is and extra that you want with your plate. Which is fine when it's all good my asparagus were delicious and he's smashed garlic potatoes needed more garlic. Service wasn't by by Stephanie until she came to the table and asked us if we wanted dessert while we're still cutting our steak! ! What really that just didn't fly. Sorry but 110 meal and 2 drinks I expect a great dinner with wonderful service. Everyone looked like they we're going to the beach.. I might be to old loll but I am not love the young crowd. But sometimes a little class would be great. If your gonna charge the price give me the look"

"Stone Creek was fabulous. We were celebrating my husbands birthday. Landis our server was a rock star. We had some amazing food. My husband had the gnochi. It was incredible. Also, Antonio who was a bar tender personally came over and suggested a bottle of wine instead of singles glasses due to Monday half priced bottles. Landis served us well. He made great recommendations. The environment was lovely. Overall, stone creek was lovely!"

"Order the lasagna family of 4 meals for taking and was pleasantly surprised. It would easily feed 6 adults with large portions (and I am a guy who loves his lasagna! . The Caesar Salat Dressing must be homemade and was delicious. For a person who likes to drown his Caesar salad in the dressing, they definitely gave enough to do this and then some. I'll get enough for at least 2-3 more salads on what we have eaten today. The food also comes with bread and cookies. For $32 this is a steal! What really failed was that the hostess had a 20% discount without me just asking because I picked up. This gesture alone will have me back, especially because I only work a block away. Nice job overall Benvenutos!"

"Food: I ordered the beef with onion rings and a chocolate shake. The beef was a large part and the meat was quite juicy and tender. The onion rings had a little more taste, but I ate them with a smile. There are two sizes of shakes, a large and small. The small is a perfect size, served in a classic way, in the metal mix container. Service: The staff was polite, friendly and accurate with my order. I've been looking a few times to see if everything was perfect. Last thought: This restaurant is located on the beach, a 2-minute walk away. A classic diner with many American decisions. Not my first time and it won't be my last."

"Great place to eat, it's open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. I always recommend people visiting Dana Point to visit this restaurant. Whenever I am there, breakfast, dinner, doesn't matter, it's always a chorizo omelet. They are always generous with cheese and use quality ingredients. Lately, I have been eating their delicious bacon-wrapped onion rings."

"Ordered door dash from Kings on 2/26 and we're so ecstatic we did! Awesome meatloaf and mashed potatoes. Very fresh perfectly cooked broccoli. My girlfriend had cod that was a huge piece perfectly cooked and fresh. My son had amazing chicken tenders and a generous portion of milk and apple sauce. He was very happy to say the least. I'm definitely going to be ordering several times per month and anxious to try other menu items. Thank you for the awesome experience"

"Stone creek has always been a favorite, but when we visited on a Sunday for dinner, they were a little off. Steaks were a little over seasoned and overcooked and I think my baked potato was a rewarmed one from Saturday night and our schedule didn't allow having them redo it all so we just ate part of it and moved on. On the upside service was great as always. For the spotlights were a little bright in there too. Hopefully next time will be better"

"This place looked good. I looked at reviews and everything. But today I came with my family, it was the opposite. Now it could be due to short staff, which is understandable. But for one the waiting for our food took forever, the chicken I tasted wonderful, but my broccoli tasted as if it were not right washed. It was bitter and honest like chemicals that burned my mouth. The waitress was great! Even when we mentioned the broccoli, she offered me other things. I understand the short staff and no help lately, but I wasn't very happy with this choice of food today? sad!"

"I have always received good service at this restaurant, but this time I was disappointed to find that I was missing an egg in my order and they had substituted sourdough bread for rye. No one checked in to see if everything was okay with my breakfast. I have also found that the poached eggs here are consistently overcooked and flat. The menu has been scaled back due to the pandemic, and some of my favorite items are no longer available. I'll chalk it up to the current circumstances and give the restaurant another chance before looking elsewhere for a better dining experience."

"Our party of 4 arrived 15 minutes after opening and the whole inside of the restaurant was empty. As we proceeded to the host stand they told us that the whole restaurant was reserved... no explanation or anything. Then I went on my phone and made a reservation with open table and we were sat 30 minutes later. However upon arriving to our online reservation the host was very stand-offish and almost seemed mad that she had to give us a table. She sat there for a couple minutes just looking at the reservation and finally put us outside on the patio for a table big enough for 7 people. Our service was great our waitress was lovely but our initial experience was a train wreck. I suggest not going at 11:00 due to the train because if you're not part of it they will deny you at the host stand. This was on a Sunday."

"The vibe at Haywire is always great for a fun meal with good friends. We asked to be seated away from the traffic pattern back to kitchen and restrooms and were kindly directed to a table closer to the bar. It was still noisy, but the slightly smaller table facilitated conversation. We enjoyed a double cut porkchop, a filet, chile brined chicken and ceviche as our entrees. All were tasty, and our server did a good job of guiding us through possibilities on the sides. Each of us enjoyed our starter cocktail, again with a helpful bit of guidance from our server. Always a good time."

"My friend and I went for breakfast today and arrived at 9:05. Unfortunately, we had to wait a full hour for our meals. When our food finally came, my friend's toast was burnt to a crisp, and I ended up breaking a tooth on a piece of overcooked bacon. They even started turning customers away because the food wait time was so lengthy! Having lived in this city my entire life, as has my friend, I've never encountered such poor service or food. We definitely won't be going back."

"Me and my boyfriend ate here during memorial day weekend. It was pretty crowded, but I was able to book a reservation 30 minutes before we arrived and we got right in. The food was actually pretty good. I had the chicken and waffles, and he had the shrimp and grits. We had a gumbo appetizer which was OK. We also had a appetizer of biscuits and they were delicious. The service was OK. We ordered a mimosa flight as soon as we sat down, I had to ask the server to check on it after about 30 minutes and he gave me a very snappy response. I ended up receiving my mimosa flight after my food had come out. All and all the food was good And service were decent."

So many restaurants here in Bloomington and abroad are very good. Some are not. This place is no exception! It actually goes above and beyond traditional in terms of taste, quality of food, and home town service. The food here is Grade A. Fresh. From their greens to their meats. "The ambiance is nice even though it can get quite loud and echo-y when crowded. The bar area tends to be a little quieter. The food is good and the service has always been great. Prices have definitely gone up. $8 for less than a pint of beer means that we don't go here as often as we used to, but we still like to meet friends or family here on occasion."

"Don’t know if they are short-staffed, or if they need better training. We were immediately seated and a drink order was taken. We then waited 25 minutes for a beer and the “drink of the day”. We submitted an order for an appetizer and it arrived timely. We ordered our dinners which also arrived timely but we needed refills on beverages. My husband had to get the server’s attention and asked if we could have water while we wait for our refills. Good thinking on his part because the refills took another 20 minutes. The food was just okay. Really hope they can improve on food and service."
