"Discovered this off the beaten track dinner a couple of weeks ago and so glad I did, country small town charm, fantastic food and great service. My first time there was to try their Monte Cristo sandwich, was not disappointed, took a pic of the sandwhich and me with the chef and my waitress it was that good. Casual atmosphere don't have to get all dressed up which suits me just fine. Everyone I've meet there is pleasant and friendly and a lot of them seem to know each other ... regulars and the waitresses seem to know them by name. Today I had the fried Cod and could not have been better, something on the menu for everyone plus a small salad bar fresh fixings. You need to give it a try, think I've found me a nice homey spot for early evening dinners or soup and a sandwich or whatever, also great desserts and variety of hand scooped ice cream. Like having dinner at my grandmother's 60+ years and I don't have to help do the dishes ..."

"I recently found Nippers, a restaurant located just outside the village of Manchester, VT, and it was a wonderful discovery. The menu offered a great mix of familiar comfort foods and more adventurous dishes. I tried the pork tenderloin with goat cheese and roasted pears, and it was absolutely delicious! The service was excellent and despite the small size of the restaurant, with seating for about 24 guests, it provided a cozy and comfortable dining experience. The prices were also very reasonable, which was a pleasant surprise. I will definitely be coming back to Nippers next time I am in Manchester."

"Excellent burgers and great beer selection. Huge portions and it always comes with a free macaroni. Liquor and mixed drinks are also available. The bar is almost always bustling, but I would consider it to be more of a cozy restaurant than a straight-up bar, though both are equally good. Plenty of seats and very rarely have I waited for a seat. A good place for friends to drop in and have a great meal and a good time, but not usually good for a dating spot due to the hustle and bustle (depending on the night). Live music is often performed here; its quality varies but more often than not adds to the mood. All in all, a great place to check out in Bellmore."

"Very nice lunch. Quiet, inviting atmosphere and tasty food. We liked the menu as it had offerings we hadn?t seen at other places. Our server/bartender, Chelsea, was busy but attentive and had really great suggestions. We had planned to havesandwiches, but at her suggestion tried the salmon and chicken. We were glad we did! The pistachio chicken was creamy andflavorful and the salmon was perfect crispy edges and tender middle with a good dill sauce. My friend (who doesn?t usuallylike potatoes) enjoyed the mashed potatoes and we both loved the asparagus. We also liked the **** Marys and chicken satay wehad for appetizers. Lovely place! Also, Chelsea said the M F 3 6 happy hour included 4 appetizers and was very good so we willtry that next! Thanks Chelsea! Her personal service made it a 5 star lunch!"

"I have never had a bad meal at Butch's, and I've never felt compelled to write a review until now. On Monday, October 9th, my husband and I decided to go for an early dinner since it was a holiday. Our waiter, Tyler, informed us that the specials were in the process of being updated, so there would be a short wait. He made sure we had drinks and bread while we waited. One of the specials was blackened swordfish tips served over a Caesar salad, but I asked if I could substitute the salad for mashed potatoes and vegetables instead. The chef graciously accommodated my request. If there were a Yelp for waiters, Tyler would definitely earn five stars for his knowledge of the menu and his meticulous attention to detail. He was friendly and patient, never judging my unique preferences. The chef also deserves five stars because the blackened swordfish was absolutely amazing. I always recommend Butch's whenever anyone asks for a fantastic dining spot in Haverhill."
