"While the prime rib and the mushrooms in my soup were tasty, the cream base wasn’t what I expected (I had initially wanted the French onion soup but was intrigued by the waiter’s recommendation). The filet was outstanding, rivaling the quality at Shula’s down the street. The Burgundy mushrooms were generously topped with gravy (see photo after they were mostly gone), but there was too much gravy for my liking. I imagined they would simply be sautéed in Burgundy wine, but they were still enjoyable.
The sautéed spinach didn’t quite meet my expectations either; it had more stems than leaves. Next time, I think I’ll choose the green beans instead. The atmosphere was pleasant, with a relaxed and comfortable vibe inside. However, the few outdoor tables were quite hot in the afternoon sun. The only real downside was a swarm of tiny flying insects, which the waiter humorously dismissed by saying, "It's Florida." At least they weren’t love bugs!"
