"Decent eatery with a menu longer and more crowded than the line out the door to get in. MAKE A RESERVATION THE DAY BEFORE. Just do it. Unless you plan on stopping in, making a reservation, and shopping for a couple hours before you eat. That mightwork. More expensive than you expect given the menu with far more of a wait than expected. Given that it?s essentially in theSouth Park Mall, it?s bound to always be busy, so come armed with patience and more money than you think you?ll need. Waitstaff was very friendly and helpful. Kitchen didn?t have two of our drinks we ordered available and the wait for food was around30-40 minutes after we ordered, so alterations had to be made but the meal was tasty, nonetheless. Parking is awful and rarelyavailable nearby, so either use the mall parking services or plan to get there 30 minutes prior to your reservation (atminimum)."

"The atmosphere was beautiful, but the food was just okay. The portion sizes were generous, and the service was decent. However, there were a lot of fruit flies, which was quite annoying. I arrived with coupons but was only allowed to use one in the dining area, even though we ordered a full pan pizza valued at $20. Because we used the voucher for the dining area, we couldn't apply the coupon for free wings, despite our total bill being over $60. Unfortunately, I wouldn't return to this restaurant. I would recommend heading to Frank's Pizza in Mt. Arlington instead, as their pan pizza is larger and more affordable."

"there are so many things that i can say about this location but its nothing short of spectacular. I grew up in Winthrop I remember when this location used to be a McDonalds long time ago and i must say the best thing to come into Winthrop is nicks place. I remember in middle school I would walk to nicks place with my friends and order a sandwich and sit down and eat. The food was always amazing the staff was always kind. Forward now many years later and i can honestly say the same thing all over again. Although ive grown up and moved away from Winthrop i always find myself coming back to get a nice hot and fresh meal. I now live in Beverly and i still will make the drive from time to time to go eat inside nicks! I’ve brought my parents my grandparents other family members my old manager and friends on many different occasions to nicks place because i know it wont disappoint when they order. Because i live far ive tried other nick’s restaurants that are closer to me but nothing compares to Winthrop not in ambiance and not in food so the trip is a must from time to time. Yesterday i was feeling a little home sick i missed spending time with my mother and grandmother so i decided to pick them up and take them to nicks. When i tell you the experience was nothing short of amazing i mean it. GABRIELLE was awesome we ordered our food and sat down and Gabrielle took care of us the whole time. She remembered me from previous times that ive been there she held up great conversation and brought our food out and treats to the table she made sure everything was neat and clean she was very attentive and kind it made the experience so much better. I seen her work at other tables too she gave the same energy all around. They have another woman who waits tables she is Albanian her name escapes me but shes great as well every time i go she treats myself and my family so kind its honestly a breathe of fresh air to get that kind of treatment. Now the food i ordered a fishermans platter and a lobster mac and cheese the fishermans platter never disappoints im so picky when it comes to fish like the minute it starts to taste “fishy” im done. The fishermans plate has never had that oder when ive ordered it its always tasted fresh and tasty. The lobster mac is my weakness i love mac and cheese and the tender lobster thats on it will leave your mouth drooling. The mac and cheese is definitely a shareable plate its very rich and creamy so you can be satisfied without finishing the whole thing. So i always have left overs to take home and trust it taste good reheated too! Ive ordered a bunch or different foods from them there is definitely something there for everyone the staff behind the desk works really hard and efficient you can tell the place is a well oiled machine. I normally dont leave this detailed of a review but i do believe this place deserves it again i been going here for years moved away and i still find myself coming back so its a well worth review."

"Food was good. Ordered the new Thai chicken soup which is very tasty And a bowl of 10 vegetable soup and it came to $17 change.. So not worth it. Then they automatically ask for a tip And they do absolutely nothing but hand you your food.. You have to takeit yourself to the table and then clean the table also.. Not sure what they're asking for a tip for."

"I recently visited this restaurant to grab dinner and a drink, and it was a mediocre experience overall. The restaurant was not crowded at all, with four kiosks available but half of them were broken or offline. Unfortunately, the party in front of me took up unnecessary time by using only one kiosk to place their order. The process of getting a drink was a bit slow as the staff members were busy preparing food and cleaning, leaving me waiting for a while to get my cup. Although the kiosk indicated they were out of Bubbly water, it was actually available at the drink station, although not fresh. The wait for my sandwich was also longer than expected. Although Panera used to be known for its speed, it seems like those days are gone. However, the Mediterranean Veggie Sandwich I ordered was still tasty. It's important to note that the staff were working hard and the restaurant was clean, so the blame lies with the management for not improving operations. Hopefully, this review will prompt them to fix equipment, ensure fresh inventory, and address any other shortcomings."

"9/10/23 320pAs I was eating an older man and a middled aged woman approaching the door with a DOG!!!! I immediately got up from my table, threw away my food, and left! Prior to my departure, the woman casually was pondering in the back of her SUV along with the older gentleman. This must be a trend to allow pets into restaurants/grocery stores establishments. Leave your PETS at home, as they have pet hairs, outside elements on their bodies, etc..Recently, I saw a woman place her dog in a shopping cart at ALDI on Simpson Ferry Rd disgusting!! This is why there is UBER EATS, DOORDASH, INSTACART, AND SHIPT SHOPPING APPS!! Just because you're out and about and decide to stop at a food establishmen and DON'T want to keep Rover in the car doesn't constitute others who want to encounter your pet. Plan your day accordingly!!!Btw... I have a pet and would NOT ever bring my 4 legged friend to a restaurant or grocery store as respect to others who may be offended! I plan my day accordingly."

"I was really looking forward to my tuna sandwich today, but I was highly disappointed when I got home and opened up my sandwich to find about a tablespoon worth of tuna on the bread. To make matters worse, I specifically asked for no tomato and there weretwo slices on my sandwich (I double-checked my receipt to make sure that it wasn't my mistake). Fortunately it is a personalpreference and not an allergy so I just took them off but that could be dangerous for someone else. Once I showed my husband mysandwich, he opened his up and also had very little tuna on his. This was a pick up order that he brought home, which makes mewonder if they try to skimp on the tuna because they know people aren't going to see it until they are gone."

"The Panera in Latham is fantastic! Our son has a long list of food allergies, and this is one of the few places where we feel comfortable dining with him. The manager, Molly, is always present to assist us and ensure his meals are safe. She can prepare a bowl of just grilled chicken, which is typically used for salads and is one of our son's favorite options! Most of the staff recognizes us now, and they are all very friendly and welcoming, even though our orders can be a bit complicated. We love the grain bowls and hope they bring back the classic ham-and-cheese sandwich!"

"I ordered from here almost everyday but will not be spending another cent with this establishment. I ordered you pick two and this is the second time I have recieved a delivery of a chicken noodle soup with no chicken or noodles when I called infrustrated about this occurrence the mgr on duty explained that they use one scoop of chicken and one cup of noodles to everysoup bowl. When I explained this was not the case for my soup she began yelling and implied I had an attitude and what did Iwant her to do about it. $25.00 for delivery of basically a carrot soup is unacceptable along with attitude and anunsympathetic mgr who should understand that when someone orders lunch delivery it is because they can't pick it up. For thesereasons they will never get me or my families business again."

"It's a solid four-star experience. The staff is friendly, and the restaurant maintains a generally tidy atmosphere. However, there are issues that need addressing. Sometimes, the sandwiches feel poorly assembled, lacking pride and attention to detail, as I encountered this evening. On top of that, orders can be incorrect or incomplete. Tonight, my sandwich seemed to have lost a quarter of its contents in the bag. What was left inside was unevenly distributed, with only a small amount of each ingredient held together by cheese. I sense there's a cultural issue within the establishment, and this isn't just a one-off situation—I've noticed it during my travels as well. There seems to be a lack of joy and pride in their work, as well as gratitude for being part of the community and having the opportunity to support themselves and their families. Something is definitely missing. On the bright side, the drive-thru is convenient, and the food is consistently tasty. I just wish Panera would take that final step to really elevate the experience and earn a full five stars."

"Food was good but the staff in the front all looked completely miserable. The two ladies at the registers were even bickering and the lady cleaning the dining area had a huge frown. When I was approaching the door she also was coming at it with a bottle of cleaner. She was walking so aggressively I actually thought she was going to come outside with it so I held the door open and smiled at her in order to let her come through the door first. And she frowned at me like I had cut her in line or something! Just overall very rude service and for no real apparent reason except for that they might thoroughly dislike their jobs and it appears, each other."

"Ordered Mac and Cheese on Sunday evening. I dined in guess they didn't want to wash dishes served it to me in a cardboard container. It was cold and tasted very bad. Normally, it comes with bread, but they gave me chips and put it into a paper bag. I did inform the shift manager it was the worst dining experience I'd ever had and would not be returning to this location again. Additionally, the restaurant was in a mess tables not clean and dishes left on them. I routinely eat at Panera Bread at different locations and have always gotten great food and service. I hope for other customers the Management team addresses these issues as their customers deserve better!!!"

"Stopped in today, 9/16/2022, Clifton Park. Horrible service. Husband and I stopped in to get dinner. I got a sprite that was flat, let someone know, the staff all apparently knew but didn 't switch out the tanks. My husband ordered extra meat on hissandwich, didn 't get that. Our order included two cookies, had to go back to the counter to ask for them and was met with 'whatdo you need? ' We sat and watched several 'to go ' stop and check their orders for accuracy, 3 were wrong. This visit was notworth the $47 we paid. We love Panera but will never come to this location again."

"I rarely leave negative reviews, but enough bad experiences at this location in recent months has caused me to do so. I typically order online. If it's a single item, the pick up time is 5-10 minutes. This tells me that the food is pre-made heated up when the order comes in. That's fine, because the food quality is pretty good and it's convenient. The problems start when you add extra items. The wait time can go from 5-10 minutes to an hour. I understand the possibility of staffing issues making a person wait longer, but how does adding 2 additional sandwiches, prepared the same way, add that much time? To make matters worse, when you arrive in an hour, your order is not ready. I have waited an average of 20 minutes over the expectation while 4 staff members talk amongst themselves at the counter. Last night was a simple order. It was ready quickly, but 2 cookies and the breadbowl from the breadbowl mac cheese was missing when I got home. I even asked the counter worker if it was all ready she nodded dismissively. This place is expensive for what it is, but it was my choice to go there. The lack of attention to detail and the complete lack of customer service means I won't be back."

"Some of the employees were unfriendly, and I experienced cashiers who had a very negative attitude towards customers. It was obvious that they needed more training. When I tried to express my concerns to a supervisor, they seemed disinterested in hearing me out. The nighttime supervisor, in particular, seemed indifferent to customer feedback; he even laughed off my issues with the cashiers nearby instead of taking them seriously. "This was my first visit to Panera, and I had a great experience. The staff at the counter were friendly and allowed me plenty of time to decide on my order. They offered four different soup options, and I chose a small soup along with a half sandwich to enjoy in the restaurant. I was happy to see that they used real utensils instead of plastic, which I appreciate. My food was served on an oval melamine platter, making it easy to manage and eliminating the need for a tray, which helps reduce waste and is better for the environment. Although I didn’t use the restroom, so I can’t comment on that, I had a wonderful time overall and look forward to returning in the future."
